Repost:
Texas's last conference championship was in 2009.
Meanwhile Baylor has had 2, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and TCU have all had Big 12 chips since then.
As matter of fact...Oklahoma has 4 in the same time period and Texas only has 3 Big 12 championships EVER.

So C-USA about to start

MTSU (who beat Cuse who beat Clemson and MIA struggled with)

at

WKU (who has Mike White, one of the best QBs in the country)

some sites have WKU favored by 1
some have MTSU favored by 1
some have a pick em

what an awkward looking picture

they call this one "100 Miles of Hate"

Border War

the 65th meeting

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/100_Miles_of_Hate

both are 5-5 so the winner is playing for Bowl Eligibility

>winner makes a bowl
>loser doesn't

This is why G5 > P5

They're returning almost everyone. Auburn will probably be better next year, even in the beginning of the season.

that's an unfortunate scar

He's an awkward man.

What the fuck happened to the /cfb/ Discord?

basically another Tennessee vs Kentucky rivalry

>Ohio Statefags actually think they can still make the playoffs

Penn St is going to rape us tomorrow.

One step closer to Riley being gone and ushering in the era of Frost...

UVA upsets Miami who beats Clemson and Ohio State takes the ACC's spot with a dominant win over Wisky

>discord

>had to click through 5 captchas of street signs

Nebraska's got this

SEC:
>Clemson (twice)
>FSU (twice)
>at Notre Dame
>Michigan
>TCU
>NC State
>Louisville
>Kansas State
>Georgia Tech (twice)
>BYU (twice)
>at UCLA

B1G:
>Oklahoma
>Washington
>ND
>UCF
>at USF
>at Iowa State
>Louisville
>at Texas
>Pittsburgh
>Florida
>at Oregon
>at Missouri
>at BYU

what conference's OOC slate are you comparing these to that either one of them is weak

I wouldn't mind fucking up Penn St's season while we're going down. But I don't see it happening.

>beat Penn State
>keep Riley

y u say dis?

He's gone regardless I do believe.

it's Mike White's last game. He's rated as one of the Top 10 senior QBs in the nation. He's been getting a lot of attention all year and will be getting even more heading up to the Draft. My first time getting to see him play

look how nice WKU's $8 million alumni center is. It's for alumni to hang out at when they come back to campus, and offers networking opportunities/programs, a socia calendar/events, and even the “alumni college,” which is a week’s worth of courses taught by WKU faculty.

one of the rooms inside. plush

even has WKU door handles

they have a statue of the mascot out front...

No need to, Penn State's season is already fucked

Hmm. For some reason I thought Penn St still had a shot at the east. But yeah it looks like you're right. Unless Illinois pulls off a fucking miracle against Ohio St.

God I hate their mascot.

He's not as bad as that murdering psychopath that is Purdue's mascot. Just look at those eyes.

>those eys

Gaze into the abyss for too long, and the abyss gazes into you.

It's an existential kind of terror.

I think the only other team that still technically has a shot at the East is Michigan if they somehow beat Wisconsin and Ohio State in back to back weeks

They'd have to beat Wiscy twice.

Also UCF would need an L against USF so they get locked out of the CCG to salt it away.

Looks right. If they win out they'd be tied for 1st in the east at 7-2 with Ohio State and they'd own the tie breaker.

I guess Nebraska is still playing for bowl eligibility. So there's something.

Is he a boilermaker or a corpsemaker? I can't tell.

starting on ESPN2 is UNLV 3-pt dogs at New Mexic0...and UNLV needs to win their last two to go bowling

UNLV is starting their Cam Newton-like freshman QB which should be fun to watch

and he just ripped off an electric 24 yard run

>Cam Newton-like freshman QB

Ironic.

They lost to Cam's little brother in the season opener in the biggest upset in CFB history, statistically speaking.

why is the shitty New Mexico triple option on national tv like every fucking week?

is it really just the Bob Davie factor and that's it?

>too early to tailgate
>everyone leaves campus after the game so little tailgating afterward either
>can't even sleep in
>anyone travelling has to wake up at like 4
>usually some trash matchup, or else it'd be in the afternoon or evening

11:00 games are the worst

Indeed. I don't care for night games too often either. The atmosphere is great but there's so much waiting around and temptation to get drunk too early.

2:30 games are god tier.

Damn straight, but only mid-October and later in the South or it's too hot.

>Wake up at 9
>Turn on Gameday while getting ready
>Eat some food, take a few shots
>Get to campus by 11
>Tailgate, drink, and meet people
>Watch team enter and other pregame stuff
>Enter stadium at 2
>More pregame stuff
>Watch game, take adderall to make it through the whole thing
>Go home for a quick nap
>Dinner
>Bars/parties
>Pac-12 games playing until 2 am

fucking goat

>11:00
>too early to tailgate
lol fucking amateur

>take adderall to make it through the whole thing
Do students really do this nowadays? I mean I'm 26 and I have a shit attention span but even when I was in college this would have been unheard of.

At my school students get to the game 1.5 to 2 hours early so why bother.
I'm usually coming down from my drunk by halftime so it's useful to make me not feel like shit in the second half.

both me

dead general

Slow night.

>college GameDay goes til 11
>wisconsin game starts at 11
>stadium is a 20 minute walk from GameDay

Why do they do this to us?

>putting the day's most interesting game at 11
why do they do this to us?

I blame Fox.

Tomorrows lineup sucks. Maybe a couple good games and the rest will be blowouts.

We just have to hope for some meme upsets

>innocuous schedule

Implying this won't be bloodweek 2, electric boogaloo.

The craziest shit happens on weekends with bad schedules.

None of the plausible upsets are for playoff caliber teams. Who is really going to be upset if TCU or NC State lose?

Wiscy and Michigan absolutely has playoff repercussions and could be an upset.

UVA is having a record year. Maybe they're a trap game for DA U?

Who knows man. Look at 2007: WVU lost to a GARBAGE Pitt team and got locked out of the Natty right around this time of year.

Any given Sunday famalam.

>Georgia
>Miami
>Wisconsin
All are in the playoff conversation and they are playing conference games against teams with a pulse. I bet at least one gets upset tomorrow.

Out of those I'd bet on Georgia

This is the week where I exclusively watch FCS rivalries

In order of most likely to lose I'd rank them Wisconsin (Michigan >>>>> Kentucky and Virginia), Miami (might have a letdown game after last week) and Georgia (I don't see them playing that poorly two weeks in a row).

Guns up!

discord.gg/2MEF4xg

>tfw tswift

>the absolute state of Texas

Why aren't there spreads for the Clemshit/Bama games?

They’re playing FCS teams

Because the SEC is pussy ass pieces of shit by playing FCS teams in November instead of September

We'll get utterly ass ravaged tomorrow, but I'm fucking hype for Big Game.

But why no spreads? Oklahoma is playing shitty Kansas and they are a 37 point favorite.

Stop being dumb. Thanks.

There's literally no difference.
Vegas doesn't do spreads for FCS teams.

So it's pretty obvious that in an attempt to not get left out of the playoffs again, the Big 12's added conference championship game will ultimately eliminate them from the playoffs when OU gets their 2nd loss in it, right?

How hilarious is that gonna be?

The irony is that OU would easily be in without it. It'll be hilarious but I don't see TC(You) knocking them out.

Yeah, this year is a wacky and a 1 loss B12 team would have got in even with sitting at home during conference championship week. This year it could just be a fantastic outcome.

The game is kind of retarded because everyone plays each other regardless. TCU was absolute shit against Oklahoma last week though, and I really don't see them bringing much more trouble this time. Oklahoma could have hung seventy on TCU in that game if they wanted to.

Nothing ever works out for the Big 12. OU will 100% lose in the Big 12 title game.

Right. It's like a literal bye week you fucking retard.

It makes sense if you think the conference is bad, because then it's necessary to give the best team an extra win. So basically the Big 12 is admitting it's not strong enough to get in without the artificial extra game.

Then it's a bye week whether it's in September or November.

Wow. You just don't get it don't you dummy.

Its not about being good or bad, its about your number of wins. Look at Miami. I could imagine a lot of scenarios where their canceled game comes back to haunt them. My main grievance with the BigXII title game is that the conference is shitty at scheduling. They moved Bedlam back by a month because they thought the game would be oklahoma/okie lite, but now its (probably) going to be Oklahoma playing TCU for the second time in a month. If you guys want chaos, cheer for a TCU loss in their next two games. Oklahoma/Oklahoma State would be a shootout. Oklahoma/TCU would be another blowout.

I'm a Miami fan and I'm scared shitless about both Virginia and pitt

Virginia has a history of giving us problems and pittsburgh has ruined seasons for us for a very long time dating back to when both were in the big East

I would say pitt is the scarier one because it's on the road but you never know with this Jekyll and Hyde shit. 50/50 they get to the acccg undefeated, that's all I'm giving them

Your point is stupid. I don't like FCS matchups but it doesn't make a cunt hair of a difference when they're played.

It's really hard to beat the same team twice.

You see it in the NFL every year. Tampa Bay beat the Falcons 31-24 on the road last year and 8 weeks later lose 43-28 at home against them. Now obviously NFL teams are much closer together in terms of skill but it's not like TCU is Kansas where a rematch would mean nothing and OU would win easily again.

>We really, really wanted to put Miami in the playoffs after blowing out Clemson, Notre Dame, and Virginia Tech but unfortunately we didn't get to see them perform against 5-3 Arkansas State so destroying two top 10 teams just won't cut it

what's funny is if you look up some articles from ark state that week you'll see them saying Miami was afraid to play them because they almost beat Nebraska week 1

Pretty insensitive to a team putting up with a hurricane desu

>WKU/MTSU
>currently 38-38 in 3OT

Get in here, faggots.

>tfw just found out it's a 2:30 start
Fuck this shit. 11 a.m. starts are GOAT because I can sleep through like the first quarter, then when I wake up I can see if we're getting BTFO and go do something else without getting pissed off

What went right?

Just gotta win out and we win the B1G

Honestly after how bad we've been playing most of the year we don't deserve it but if we somehow beat Wisconsin, aOSU, and Wisconsin back to back to back then I would cum

>Got exposed by the one SEC West team they faced.
Not much apparently.

>bowl eligible

WE DID IT, LADS

>the middle of tennessee

where exactly do you think that man is coaching, user

well it doesn't exactly have a north

da ess ayy see least
>Division is one the easiest to win in cfb, probably only beaten by the B1G West
>Got slammed by Auburn and almost lost to a Notre Dame that got slammed by Miami
>Only play 2 SEC West teams every year (Guess what happened)

that's not right

I'm still not sure why their horse mascot has wings

I think that's lightning?

And I realized he's not at Georgia anymore, whoops. In that case a lot of things.
