Landsman. Goat character.

not this incompetent traitor/kike in training

Lester.
Landsman.
Wee-Bey.
Beadie. (she is underrated imo)

Slim Charles too. Forgot him.

He'd make it a top 5 most based.

>my literal face at work, day in day out
I'm, convinced I will turn into him soon

i know its a meme answer but mcnulty is a charismatic fuck

mfw he would suggest some pantsuits muted in colour. Something to offset Detective Moreland's pinstriped, lawyerly affectations and the brash, tweedy impertinence of Detective Freamon.

...

>him
>based

sorry obvious greekbro but you are wrong

Worst ACDC singer.

Cool lester smooth

Is it even a question?

that rumble tumble nigga

Is that Billy Corgan?

Fpbp

post you're rare landsmen

String
McNulty
Wee-bey
Slim

This was my first thought

This. The Greek, Frank, Wee-Bey.

Tbh there's too many strong characters in the Wire.

weebay was better

I really liked Prop Joe for some reason

Kenard was da shit, Omar killer and all

Everyone's life is fucked but the greek is just relaxing at his cafe

underrated

Why this nigga look like John Cena after WWE?

Realest nigga in the game

Bill

kennard

you now remember this scene

lol

Discount Morgan Freeman should be in more stuff

this was rough because he was the most likable of the original group of kids but you knew this checkers playing motherfucker was never going to make it to the other side of the chess board

Specially with these assholes playing Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots instead

Fucking Marlo. Didn't have to do Joe like that. At least Cheese got his.

...

The whole "honorable characters get the short end of the stick while the dumb/sneaky ones succeed" was forced
7/10 show overrated as fuck

No. Joe had to go.
It was the easiest way for Marlo to expand and getting contact with the Greek. All business.

Blame anyone: blame Cheese for being a shit.

he's thinking of cocks right now

> is gay
What did they mean by this?

nah man, there's no way bubbles should have survived that show but the writers let us have one "good guy" victory

wait, were any of their gang ever shown playing rock'em sock'em robots? If they were I missed it and it's actually a pretty brilliant juxtaposition with the kids from season one/barksdale crew

lol

Fuzzy Dunlop

le epic Bunk

such a good throw away line. Avon was great.

I love when he's about to get arrested in the warehouse with all the guns and he just laughs and says "you ask me, you ugly ass niggas shouldn't be in here fuckin' around with all these guns an shit"

underrated character for sure.

Feeling intimidated by the Bunk?

I could never tell if marlo had a mancrush on him or if he was just trying to create discord between him and joe by always offering territory to the tall man but I love that Slim always knew his place and played the game at his own pace

I mean he's just a humble motherfucker

Can you imagine having Marlo as your interior decorator? Total nightmare.

This is the whole point of the show
If you play correctly and you are lucky you live
If not well

*upvoted*

>ywn be invited over for Yvett's brisket
feels bad for some reason

I wasn't surprised he was gay, I was surprised he was drinking in that gay bar

He looks like a fat John Cena. But yeah he is near if not in the top tier.

best outro of all time?

youtube.com/watch?v=-MtDLRvpx-k

He could be witty and charming, he could be the firm boss, he could be the asshole boss, he was also willing to go into interview rooms and get his hands dirty. I don't know how he passes a department physical, but he is a strong character. Knows what he wants out of the system and the best way to go about getting it.

It was unconfortable how charming and likeable he was, but just how fucked up a cop at the same time.

Still, his scenes in the CSI-type field investigation and with Bubbles in the 4th season were pretty cool and redeeming

>We ready professor?

this is why the show is so good, it would have been easy to write landsman as a two dimensional incompetent suck up cartoon character boss but instead he is also shown to care about his detectives, is quite capable at interrogation and gives one helluva eulogy
