Is Sup Forums smart enough to debate the merits of California’s income tax vs Texas' property tax?

Is Sup Forums smart enough to debate the merits of California’s income tax vs Texas' property tax?

Fuck Mexifornia. Texas isn't a Socialist Mexican filled hellhole.

>Texas isn't mexican filled

Texan delusions are always hilarious

i just found out texas has no income tax. Is this retardation at a whole new level?

Texas has a higher percentage of it's population on welfare and foodstamps than California.

The more you know
=========*

Several states (including my own) don't have income taxes. They make up the difference with consumption and property taxes.

Which is funded by the federal government, not the state government. California is too expensive for most people to live, and it continues to get worse for middle class workers.

California is increasingly becoming a state that is just a resort for rich people, and you can't start a life there.

>CA
>good state uni like Berkeley, UCLA, and so on
>in-states are harder to get in cuz those unis decided to accept more international students to deal with their financial deficit (due to the decrease in govt budget allotted to CA state unis)

>TX
>good state uni (UT Austin)
>in-state students with top 10% class rank automatically get in

Also personal experience,

>tfw being a CA resident
>applied to medical school
>no single interviews from CA state unis
>ended up going to somewhere outside CA (private school with expensive tuition)

>one of my college friends with same GPA, similar ECs, and same race was TX resident
>also applied to med school
>get interviews from like 3-4 in-state (TX) unis
>got in a good TX state med school with cheap tuition

For education at least, I guess you know the answer.

It's ironic because Texas public education is geared to help the disadvantaged, while California's education system is super elitist, which is the opposite of what you'd expect with each states politics.

I always wonder if Texans post this unironically or not.

Huge portions of the state have affordable houses. Just don't move to the coast.

Read a fucking book.

California public universities have a cap on the percentage of students that can be either out of state or international.

So your information is flat out wrong.

>Just don't move to the coast.
Yea but is there any charm of CA that is not coastal? I lived Diamond Bar area (which is not exactly by the Pacific Ocean but definitely an LA suburb and is kinda still expensive) and I feel like 'eh' when I go to place like Riverside. Pretty much the same feeling when I go east of San Jose in the Bay Area.

It's mostly some devoted autist. He also posts "Texas isn't a spic filled hellhole blasting reggeaton in their cars like Chile" and "Hispanics in Texas are culturally white"

Only people who don't live in Texas get trolled by him, and actual Texans find his antics funny.

California literally just introduced the cap this year, and it's well below how many out-of-state students they already take in. That also doesn't do anything about the fact that California universities are dominated by resident asians.

California universities are a joke now. 50% of the students are asian, and the other half are antifa liberal arts students.

lmao wh*te brainlets

I'm at a community college and I see fucking chinks everywhere here. Always speaking that god-awful language of theirs. California schools are indeed overrun with chink hordes.

Do something about it you fucking pussy

>be white american
>see something you dont like
>be a cuck and do absolutely nothing besides bitch on an anonymous site

I cant wait until this country is conquered by Mexicans and real men are back in control

What am I supposed to do? Just be an edgy retard shoot some of them and then go to prison for the rest of my life getting raped by tyrone? No thanks.

The mountains.

Asians are basically just briefly more relevant that what artificial intelligence will eventually be able to do in a few decades or so. The Asian century should be more appropriately called the Asian few minutes.

>w-what am I s-supposed to do?

Quit bitching about it then, Rex

I'll do what whatever I want.

So you're telling people to live in a place like Bakersfield which is basically Californian's Amarillo/Lubbock but has the same housing prices as Dallas/Houston/San Antonio, and isn't as cheap as Amarillo/Lubbock?

Lmao

thats true of all races

Is Bakersfield that expensive? God that was one of the most terrible US cities/towns I've ever visited. That place was Oakland tier and at least Oakland is close to SF
This

I have a feeling increasing income tax has higher short term negative consequences than raising proprty tax.

Idk I live In CA and all I know is that if you aren't in tech or hollywood your company is probably moving to another state and if you are in tech your job is going to india anyway.

>Is Sup Forums smart enough to debate the merits of California’s income tax vs Texas' property tax?
Absolutely not.

>Yea but is there any charm of CA that is not coastal? Aside from places like the Sierra Nevadas which is one of the most beautiful places in the world, inland California is a low key kind of charm. The cities for the most part will be shitty but will have pockets of pure comfy. Its strength comes from being able to get out of the city easily and the slower pace. One of the best things in life is being able to hike into the hills and sit under an old oak tree doing absolutely nothing.

Just imagine every city in California, and then imagine a version of it that is cheaper, has less identity politics, but worse weather. That is basically Texas.

>I-Ill continue to bitch online

The absolute state of the American man.

>worse weather
I guess I would be immune to that if you meant 'humid' since I live in FL

Some states don't have sales tax, do you consider that retardation?

No, no really, I don't understand Texas' property tax. Do they tax "wealthiness" instead of income or something?

>Do something about it

what? He's supposed to kill every last Chinaman in California's CCs? God you sound like a complete idiot

They are all probably trying to transfer to UCLA or something

I've found a liberal in Texas is much easier than being a conservative in California. California's political echo chamber is insufferable .

You neets are so dramatic, it makes my skin crawl.

If he has a problem with what he sees, he better have a solution to it or quit the pointless whining. I wouldn't be surprised if he visits Sup Forums daily just to shitpost about his nonexistant superiority.

Not him but I work for a company that will literally fire you for speaking your opinion if it's anything right of hard left. Very similar to the likes of that memoir put out recently.

They get away with it for the most ridiculous reasons even though it's against state law to fire someone for political beliefs, and I'm almost sure it's because they produce more incriminating information on the common american than the government could even hope for and probably even sell it to them for profit.

>If he has a problem with what he sees, he better have a solution to it or quit the pointless whining.

you're posting on an anonymous imageboard, fuck off, if anyone wants to complain about something anywhere here is the place to do it. Go tradcuck larp somewhere else

>Brazil lecturing Americans about their state government financial decisions

Our worst state has a higher HDI than your best state. Don't you have another corrupt commie politician to vote for?

Why do Californians always try to force this rivalry with Texas shit? They don't give a fuck about you, they just want to chill with the rest of the Dixie gang

lmao is this his safespace, bro?

I bet you also think girls always go for the douchebags

Every texan I know either hates california more than anything or is a """"texan"""" who can't afford to buy back into the california housing market.

its the other way around

Why do Southerners always try to force this rivalry with California shit? They don't give a fuck about you, they just want to chill with the rest of the West Coast

That housing market is gonna crash hard, you know that right? California is unaffordable for most fresh out of college millennials. So much of the state's GDP is increasingly invested in real estate while the state's productivity is stagnant.

The wake up call is coming.

Oh yeah I love it. I can't afford to buy a house. I share an apartment with 3 other people. I can't have any guns I want. Asians and Indians are buying up everything in sight.

Yeah it's great #pleasekillme

Lmao.

Don't you mean Generation Z?

hurr durr, he just asked a question. take it easy.

>has less identity politics
You have to be fucking with me. Texans never shut the fuck up about identity. Every time I have been there it was a nigh constant stream of bitching about blacks and Mexicans. Its not the same type of identity politics but at least California's shit ends when you get outside of a campus.

>I've found a liberal in Texas is much easier than being a conservative in California. California's political echo chamber is insufferable.

>Being a conservative in a state which has voted in a republican Governor in the last decade and practices non-partisan redistricting is harder than being a liberal in a state which practices blatant gerrymandering.

fuck americans and l*afs

Don't try, conservatives like to think that they're being perpetually persecuted even if they control literally every branch of the government

Texicans are white as fuck tho.
