I took a look at the first few pages on Amazon and thought it was really awkward that he actually called the character "Driver" and kept referring to him by that name. Nameless characters work well in films, not so much in books. It's almost like the book was written with the intention of making it into a film.
The writing seemed solid enough though. Might still be good.
