movie.

trash

Pure cinema, essential pleb filter. Fight me

Pudgens

Absolute trash. Unironically one of the worst movies I have ever watched.

Why?

Can't you just ask if it's good or bad?

Bland 2D characters, awful plot, shit CG, bad direction and cinematography. There is nothing good about it, period.

art

Masterpiece Starship Troopers tier

sucker punch makes the plebs so angry for some reason

music video

>movie isnt accessible to normies
exactly. alot of people dont like it because it doesnt dumb things down for them. it's just too cerebral for them.

which characters were bland? what was wrong with the plot? how was the direction and cinematography bad?

It's action drivel for 12 year olds but dumb memers will praise it because Zack Snyder is a meme.

All of the characters were bland, so much so that I can't remember their names. The plot was thread bare and nonsensical when you think about it for more than 2 seconds, and the rest is typical Snyder vomiting over everything.

watch the film again pal

Good argument.

kino

Where the fuck is the pasta?

>when you whiteknight DC so hard that you'll even defend unrelated Snyder movies

Schwarbage

>shit CG, bad direction and cinematography. There is nothing good about it, period.
now that's a pleb opinion

girls were pretty bland though and it was like an uncharted game, an excuse to go from setpiece to setpiece.

This movie feels like an anime fan autistic man playing with action figures. It's a movie Chris Chan could have made if he had good relations in Hollywood.

kino

the only drawback is that once you realize what its really going for it becomes impossible to criticize the "quality", which is kind of annoying, but at the end of the day what it is is totally appropriate in regards to what it could or should have been.

the reaction was predictable, and priceless. too much cognitive dissonance and too many preconceptions led to the virtue signallers and pseudo-intellectuals rejecting it outright at the surface, without realizing that the joke was partially on them.

it really is starship troopers all over again, and basically inception for people who aren't exposition dependent retards.

>it's all symbolism duuuude
The problem is that such symbolism distorts what's really going on in the movie. So it's about SweetPea sacrificing herself so her one friend can escape. So instead of the normal escape movie, we get some shit about muh feminism, muh objectification, muh "penetration is the most dangerous thing that can happen to a woman," post-modernist garbage. There's a saying, "Keep it simple, stupid." The more shit you add, the more shit you have to explain. This is why Snyder's movies tend to fall apart, because he doesn't keep it simple and his explanations are to be found wanting at best. It feels like Snyder is copying what others do (which is fine), but he doesn't understand why that stuff works the way it does (which is bad).

The main drawing point of the movie, the part that was advertised he most, was the girls in skimpy outfits doing overblown action sequences. That's the #1 reason anyone even saw that piece of shit. Not shit about feminism and patriarchy. They wanted to see qts fight giant samurai, nazis and dragons. Fucks sake man, you could make bank off that. An entire series off that. It's already anachronistic, so you could do anything and it work. Snyder doesn't need to go 2deep4u, he just needs to stick to just making action sequences. It's proven time and time again that Snyder is not able to make movies, but instead action sequences with filler in-between.

It feels like a significant portion of the cast was superfluous, with only bit revelations of their character. But because we don't really get many chances to understand each of the main characters, they come off as shallow and the character development as a waste of time.

It's so much potential never realized. That's what pisses people off about this movie. Pure frustration at what could have been.
