He's a rapefugee lover so no
Kill yourself
Didn't know anything about this, so it's not going to effect my viewing at all.

love u too user!
I don't want to be your friend
Anyone got any recommendations for late Kurosawa? I'm just watching the last few of his early films that have interested me. I've got The Good Beautiful and No Regrets For Our Youth to watch, as well as The Lower Depths (but that isn't early). The latest Kurosawa I've watched is High and Low. What's a good film to end on as well?
i won 2 passes to the akira kurosawa meet and greet, but i dont wanna go
Touch me and die, faggot.
Why don't you just watch all of them?
What is he watching
Hope you're retarded like silly steak
I already saw Hardcore Henry. AMA

really need to start watching some kino again, rec me something
Do you consider it an action masterpiece?
It's time for some opinions!!
Actually good tier: Manchester by the sea, then Moonlight
Fine, not bad but also not that great tier: La la land, Hacksaw ridge, hell or high water
Garbage tier: Arrival
Didn't bother watching and probably won't ever tier: Lion, hidden figures, fences, Jackie
Not nominated but I liked them better than at least 80% of the best picture nominations: Silence, Greasy Strangler, Nocturnal Animals, Paterson
Those are my official opinions on the oscars. The important thing to remember is that they literally do not matter, when you look at historical winners/nominees you see that they have basically no bearing on what is culturally/critically important (even in very near history. When was the last time anyone watched or talked about spotlight)
Also I think that la la land won't win and it will be Moonlight probably
YOU SUCK
I'm always scared to post my profile because I've seen less than 300 films, but why should I be when people like have seen almost 1000 and have taste like that? Like, if you wanted to call me an embryo, sure, I'm fairly new, but at least I'm not using my time to watch shit that I know is probably just okay.
WHAT'S UP FAGS
Christ, someone please recommend a podcast on arthouse...ACTUAL arthouse, not Moonlight/letterpleb/fedora tier shit.

What's up, hot dog?
why don't you start by watching more films
Yeah, embryos are the majority here, most of them hopeless.
If you're one, the only path is to grow, and if this is your spirit, you shouldn't be afraid
...
Bravo to your tastes, sir. That's quite the selection
Kys, memposter
To elaborate, I commented on your taste because ours is pretty different, but I apologize, I won't bully. But look at what you've watched in 2017. Of those, I've seen Days of Heaven and A Clockwork Orange. I'll watch The Maltese Falcon, Dawn of the Dead, and Buffalo 66 eventually, but I wouldn't waste my time on most of the rest, I'm trying to expand my taste and watch great films
T-thanks for the podcast recommendation?
DUDE EVERY GERMAN MADE BEFORE 1934 IS GERMAN EXPRESSIONISM LMAO
...
Really? Every German?
Dont worry man i will forget about it by tomorrow anyway
is tgere a high level
What's your problem with Moonlight?
No Emily Jean

Reminder to thank Ronald for providing us with the unique Science Crazed
Ronald provided us with a fucking recession and a shitty Divorce Trust law.
Tonight /lbg/ commemorates actor and artist Bill Paxton
Well yeah, I stay pretty busy but I aim for one a day, pick a couple directors and work through their filmographies with a couple extraneous films thrown in if I'm feeling them. My year has been much more productive film wise with that strategy
Cool, not afraid.
wahoo! i have shit taste!
Cosby > Paxton > Pullman
Emily Jean > All

If La La Land breaks the record I kill myself on stream

This is what your frog will look like in ten years
no she won't
Except with huge droopy eyes
This, has death would put /lbg/ on the map
I'm not fat :)
You aren't going to find a good one. Public doesn't bother to watch arthouse films so the demand for a podcast dedicated to it is very low.
*his
Yeah, because fucking Lord of the Rings was such kino.
I wanna fuck Tracer
Is it the cool thing to hate LOTR now?
hello lads
WHAT'S UP FAG
The use of the dogs wasn't well developed, but it was a good concept
No, it's a really fun trilogy but it's not like Return of the King was such a huge masterpiece that losing it's record for most useless golden statues is a big deal.
Hold on, there's just one more thing I need to clear up...
FUCK you! You lazy eyed jew!
How do you hold your movies when you watch them?

What was once before you - an exciting, mysterious future - is now behind you. Lived; understood; disappointing. You realize you are not special. You have struggled into existence, and are now slipping silently out of it. This is everyone's experience. Every single one. The specifics hardly matter. Everyone's everyone. So you are Adele, Hazel, Claire, Olive. You are Ellen. All her meager sadnesses are yours; all her loneliness; the gray, straw-like hair; her red raw hands. It's yours. It is time for you to understand this.
Walk.
As the people who adore you stop adoring you; as they die; as they move on; as you shed them; as you shed your beauty; your youth; as the world forgets you; as you recognize your transience; as you begin to lose your characteristics one by one; as you learn there is no-one watching you, and there never was, you think only about driving - not coming from any place; not arriving any place. Just driving, counting off time. Now you are here, at 7:43. Now you are here, at 7:44. Now you are... gone.
>hey faggot, got a quarter?
>just watched blue velvet like an hour ago
Best Lynch film
Podcasts for the most part, unlike radio, are fundamentally about niche, about generating little bubbles of interest and acting as a form of enclosure around said interest. So to say the demand isn't there is antithetical to the purpose of podcasts as the "market" has little by way of say in the matter.
