Those designers are given no creative freedom and are used as a paintbrush-by-proxy, not as a painter. Remember how Vettel announced (about 3 weeks ago) that he won't be attending the Race of Champions this year because he's "too busy"?
He's attended every RoC since 2009, and fucking loves the event. But this year he's "too busy" to attend. They haven't even announced the date yet... but he's "too busy". It was even explained that he won't be attending because he wants to spend more time doing simulator work, as if he can't have one single week off in the 4 month off season.
I strongly suspect that the real reason he doesn't want to go to RoC is that it's in the world deepest shithole, Saudi Arabia. Vettel is such a based lad.
