>The Coalition will likely have to secure the support of Katter's Australian Party MP Bob Katter

WAKE ME UP

I hate the ABC/SBS so much I wish all their funding was cut they should be impartial not push their leftist agenda.

Why is aus/pol/ filled with leftist cancer all the time.

When did the ABC/SBS become so far left?

It's significantly further left than the majority of Australia.

Growing up, I was always told that the Greens are as close to soviet communism as you can get. I think that's because after the communist party of Australia was destroyed many years ago, a lot of the supporters starting voting for the Greens.

Pauline is like the complete opposite of the Greens, No kill whitey shit, just true blue patriotism and nationalism

Better internet in the fag cities?

I feel like it went down hill after 2000ish.
During the 90's it felt more just "alternative".
Now it's so left that it's very obvious.

>Media outlets funded by big government promote and support Big Government parties.

Also SBS was specifically created to push a multiculturalism agenda. It was, and will always be,a left-wing hive mind. It is literally in their charter.

I get the feeling it was after Howard. He kept it on a leesh and then Rudd let it run free.

What's worse is it's now infected Channel 10 with The Project. Waleed was literally an ABC recruit.

>Courier Mail
>Queensland majority conservative state.
>Queensland home of One Nation.

The courier mail aren't going to go against their readership.

At least not all the media has gone full retard.

All Australian TV is utter trash.

The media and mainstream politicians have their heads up their own ass when it comes to Pauline Hanson. Yeah, she's not the brightest woman ever, but she appeals to many Australians. Left-wing media does a pathetic attempt to call her and her supporters racist, which only pushes them to Hanson, and the LibLabs have completely abandoned conservative working-class Australians.

Fuck them.

>When did the ABC/SBS become so far left?
ABC News as a tv program is not run by the same sorts who run their social media presence. The news program is far more central than the frankly disgusting online presence the national broadcaster has, they may as well put "paid for by the greens" at the end of their posts.

I expect they have the younger crowd running the online side. Lots of hand wringing about social issues and almost nothing on economics & trade, foreign policy etc.

Additionally, the new ABC MD just axed The Drum and Fact Check and are moving away from opinion pieces as a whole and more towards "news analysis" whatever that means. The Drum was pretty cancerous but to see the reason it going was Papa Murdoch complaining it was stepping on their toes really does shit me. Fact check was poorly executed but the principle of holding people to account when they say stuff is fantastic and they should have pushed it harder and run it like a #breaking everytime they found complete bullshit going unchallenged aka every day both sides of the isle.

At least Mal called ABC out for their bias, not even Tones would just openly say it despite it being well known that he wants them privatised.

Who knew Australian's on Sup Forums worked for a living

Surely there's a few more NEETS on here.
Maybe the west coast is still asleep?

It's 10AM here lad, so NEETS probably will still be asleep

crickey lads

who's winning?

The reds.

The LNP are in the lead, and likely to form government, but might have to make a deal with some of the independents.
Hopefully we'll know by the end of the week.
The senate results will take even longer.

It's uni holidays.

I get to NEET it up

I am an early-rising NEET.

My dog wakes me up to get his chow.

I don't want this thread to die.

I need my mates to talk to.

73-72 Lib confirmed yet?

Who are the independents by the way? Any chance of Labor forming a minority government?

>73-72 Lib confirmed yet?
I am hearing libs are confident of winning between 74 and 76 seats.

>Who are the independents
Adam Bandt (Green), Rebbeka Sharkie (NXT), Andrew Wilkie, Cathie McGowan, Bob Katter.

>Any chance of Labor forming a minority government?
Well there is always some chance so long as the coalition gets less than 75. But Bob KAtter will not support Labor and onlt the Green's support can really be counted on.

My feeling is the crossbench mostly don't want to do the sort of deals that killed Windor and Oakeshotte in the last hung parliament.

They would rather just stay neutral and let Turnbull continue, giving basic support on confidence and supply unless Turnbull does something extreme to lose their confidence.

There's a chance, but it's not a realistic one.

The independents are made up of mainly:

Pauline Hanson's One Nation: Nationalist, remove kebab
KAP: Protectionists, somewhat nationalist
Greens: Commies kikes
NXT: Fascist populist. Socially conservative, fiscally liberal.

>NXT: Fascist populist. Socially conservative
m8 you are talking out your blow hole.

>dailytelegraph.com.au/rendezview/dear-pauline-hanson-you-dont-represent-me/news-story/b7286e274c9daf88ccae68c481cccc3a
This is a good one. Of course she doesn't represent her lol. Pauline never had any intention of representing her. She is only interested in representing Australians of Northern European ancestry who don't want Australia to become just another third world shithole.

Personally, I don't believe Liberal Arts and Law students (people who make up most of parliament) represent me.

Pauline has no lower house seats.

NXT is literally the old DLP (ie. more socially right, fiscally left)

Just the sight of one of these smug kebabettes in their head rags triggers me.

They are economic protectionists, and maybe considered civic populists for SA

>NXT ... more socially right
Give me an example of this m8. I see them as broadly on board with the modern progressive social agenda.

They can't even but the comments are golden, no one wants mudslimes here.

Where did that 74-76 come from? Mail-in votes effecting the vote?

How many rural seats does Labor hold that Libs can take it?

Won't NXT lean Labor since most of SA is Labor?

>Where did that 74-76 come from? Mail-in votes effecting the vote?
The postal votes lean hevaily in the coalition's favour.

>Won't NXT lean Labor since most of SA is Labor?
NXT and Nick X go out of their way to appear neutral and not a supporter of either major party.

Lefties call hima crypto-liberal since he was a member of the young liberals in his uni days.

Righties call him a leftie because he "votes with the greens 80% of the time".

NXT picks up the non pozzed labour voters

It's only been Nick as an Independent before.

>couriermail.com.au/news/opinion/federal-election-2016-pauline-hansons-return-is-proof-we-should-never-take-anything-for-granted-in-history/news-story/bb3f62095eadaed36accb5c6caffbaef
can an user archive.is this article, i aint paying to get passed the paywall

Put the end half of the url into google and get to the article from there.

He is.

"Fascist": Wants government/private coalition. One of NXT's platforms-

"•Create a ministerial-level position with responsibility for leading a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship throughout all government agencies, research institutions and the private sector"

"Populist": Self explanatory.

Fiscal liberal: More foreign aid, ss, pension etc. Won't touch medicare/Medicaid. Wants a "taskforce" on housing i.e more welfare etc. Regulate gmo's. Protectionist.

Social conservative: Wants gambling to be illegal. Wants hate speech laws etc.
This is how you present an argument, not "lol ur dumb bruh"...

m80 by those weak standards you could call all the parties fascist.

Any rural posters on here? I'm thinking about buying my first home out in the country because it is so cheap (150-200) that I could comfortably live off the dole whilst paying off my mortgage and looking for work in the area which I don't think would take long.

The only way I could stay in the metro area is by renting for years until I have enough saved to securely buy a shit-tier home for 400k (of course banking on the possibility that I would be earning more 5-10 years from now) or relying on dual-income from a gf which I don't have and I don't imagine many girls like the idea of having to cough up 50% on loan repayment.

Also, a smaller loan means I wouldn't be losing tens of thousands in interest and from my experience living in the country when I was a kid, it's much more cozy and free of degeneracy.

Anyone done this? Am I retarded and missing an important factor?

>and looking for work in the area which I don't think would take long.
>Am I retarded and missing an important factor?

>home out in the country
Are you buying in town or with some land attached?

Depends where. You need to live out bush for a while and find a steady income before you should even think of buying.

No. The LDP are capitalist, the Socialists are well, socialist.

You are not presenting any arguments for your position. That is what fascism is, you having a misunderstanding of the meaning of that word does not make me any less correct.

It would mostly likely be in town.
The big towns in eastern VIC, I'd be looking for work and making calls before moving out there, there is one place I could get guaranteed work but it would be casual so I'd be earning scraps, maybe the best course of action is to get that position confirmed and then rent a unit out there for a while.

why are your liberals (labour party supporters) obbsessed with attacking Indonesia?

...

>it's a liberals hold australia back for another 3 years episode keeping it a 2nd world country

The thing with Australia at the moment is any who supports any right party can't publicise their opinion without everyone on the left crying about it.
This applies x10 with the youth, have seen many discussions turn into the left just name calling and whatnot.

I saw somewhere that you guys have a free leaf party?
Why would you guys want to import more Canadians? If it's slave labor I want in.

Red pill me on Indonesians, why are they the niggers of the Asian world?

>it's a reddit poster

Libs just pulled ahead in Forde, 2 more to go and all seats are slowing creeping towrards the liberal's side. Hindmarsh next

to be fair they are killing the actual niggers of the asian world in west guinea

Muslim.

Islam

The triggering about Pauline on /r/australia is glorious

It's our own Brexit

I just googled her and she seems pretty based.

>There then followed a short series of statements on family breakdown, youth unemployment, international debt, the Family Law Act, child support, and the privatisation of Qantas and other national enterprises. The speech also included an attack on immigration and multiculturalism, a call for the return of high-tariff protectionism, and criticism of economic rationalism.[64] Her speech was delivered uninterrupted by her fellow parliamentarians as it was the courtesy given to MPs delivering their maiden speeches.

tfw this would never ever fucking happen in my country

Tl;dr?

labor shills BTFO

>the gravity of the situation finally made it through the thick wall of denial

Greens voters like pic related are comparing her to Hitler.

We need to start a #ShariaForMelbourne campaign or something, how many would nervously support it?

>2nd world country
We're going to ally ourselves with the Soviet Union? I thought they collapsed?

Watch this YouTube to see the way the media treated Pauline the first time round in the 90s. It was a fucking disgrace.

And she has turned out to be right about everything.

youtube.com/watch?v=A0fyYKiT2Z8

Cheeky bump tbph lads

Fuck, I got cancer reading this and I live in central cuckbourne... please kill me bros. please.

Great video, m8. She was ahead of her time in the 90s. I think her message is all the more stronger now that we are dealing with Islamism, and not just asians.

The Coalition is mopping the floor with postal votes. They might even get to 77 seats.

>It's a Queensland gives more seats to the Libs episode

I'm not even gonna post that half-assed copypasta edit I have about smacking plates off my mum's hand

theaustralian.com.au/federal-election-2016/federal-election-2016-cory-bernardi-forms-conservative-political-movement/news-story/2645ac0c469cf40c3b69b78924fcb70d?utm_content=SocialFlow&utm_campaign=EditorialSF&utm_source=TheAustralian&utm_medium=Twitter

fucking read this shit faggots

>Cory Bernardi has announced the formation of a new cross-party political movement, the Australian Conservatives, to gather proponents of “limited government, traditional values” and “plain old common sense”.

>“If you believe in limited government, traditional values, defending our culture and heritage, lower taxes, a stronger nation, a stronger economy and plain old common sense, then you have a lot in common with millions of others. Now is the time to gather together.

is it fucking happening? are the major parties getting BTFO forever?

baka.com.au/federal-politics/federal-election-2016/election-2016-cory-bernardi-in-talks-to-break-away-from-malcolm-turnbulls-liberal-party-20160706-gpzqak.html

Cory Bernardi might be making something decent happen in Australian politics for once, chuck a sign up here and show your support: conservatives.org.au/sign_up

It's only Forde that flipped from a Labor to Liberal lead. Capricornia and Herbert are holding up well for Labor.

Also, what are you doing in Turkey m8? Or are you just a proxyfag?

Caring for my grandma, plan to comeback soon as Turkey is utterly fucked.

Fuck off Cory. It's basically an attempt to trick One Nation voters back to the (((Liberals))) like last time. Not even hiding it.

If this works, in 2019 they'll vote out the One Nation senators and the Libs will backflip on everything mentioned.

dont come back you brown cunt

Liberals will most likely need just two seats to get to 76 from the independents to form government.

Which two seats will they bargain for? From Xenophon or Pauline? Who's more comparable with the liberals own interests?

Xenophon would want pokies banned and manufacturing to get subsidized. Pauline wants no more mosques and a royal commission into how peaceful Islam really is and if we should outlaw it until they reform.

I mean, Christianity reformed and took out most of the extreme stuff from the bible, why can't Islam?

What's wrong with Turkey? I really want to visit Istanbul, but I guess now is not the best time with all the terrorism shit.

>t. Nyoongah Pinjarra

Check out the doco "Scam City Istanbul" pretty good.

Of course now your more likely to get stabbed then scammed if your white.

my name

is wubbajubbaflubbawubbanoonga

I'm Sicilian m8. I could pass as a Turk since I'm quite Mediterranean in my appearance.

Fuck m8, that's my member

QLD most based state

>member
No, she's not. Tania Plibersek is your member.

It's not the best time not only due to terrorism but also due to fucking trillions of Syrians shitting up the place, really ruins the vibe, feels like Baghdad. I'd delay coming to Istanbul at least for a few years.

After that program, they cleaned their act around Blue Mosque and what not but, No one here is actively looking to stab people, white or brown.

There was some retarded syrian raghead who suicide bombed a German tourist group because they looked white but that's only "racially motivated" attack I can remember.

You might be attacked by far-right dickheads if you look Chinese, many Korean and Japanese tour groups got harassed due to these fucktards but no deaths.

Anyway, country is fucked, don't come here

It's all great until you can't find a local job, need higher education for your family and quality health care.

Middle of nowhere here (rural QLD)

There's just some more expenses for your house, such as water and septic

You have to drive more to work/shops

Some people don't like being away from society

Otherwise, if you don't like people around, it's as good as you can get, really.

Depending on how much land you have (>30 something acres), you can shoot on the land too.

This was the best possible outcome for me. Katter will keep 'em straight.

>cory bernardi
>decent

ayyyyy

Breaking away from the libs will kill social conservatism in this country.

He might not align with your views entirely but he's trying to fix the Liberal party and at least get it back to a somewhat conservative standpoint.

It's already dead in most major cities, at least from what I've seen.

Labor hold practically no rural seats. Only city faggots are stupid enough to vote for them.

>can't find a local job
you mean a nice cushy job with no effort required

>need higher education
higher education is a meme that people use to distance themselves from the cold truth of the world, that being connections are way more important than knowledge

>quality health care
speaking as a guy who lived in country NSW for 21 years, you're almost never going to die in the bush unless you drop dead from a heart attack with no warning.

ffs i was involved in a dual car roll-over in which i cracked my skull open, broke 4 ribs, and shattered both of my legs and i managed to survive that. it happened in noon and i was undertaking surgery in RPA by 3 pm, in recovery by 2 am, conscious awake and comprehending what happened by 7 am.

the ambos rolled up and got me conscious and stopped some external bleeding, the westpac helicopter was there within 45 minutes, they spent 4 minutes on the ground and then I was up.

unless you're living in Bumfuck Nowhere Western Australia, you're going to be within range of a helicopter.

Yep

Oz is far too urban.

Cities run it, and they'll always be left.

It's a shame rural areas don't get their own and unique legislation, but then, I can see the precedent if this happens.

What's wrong with Cory Bernardi?

So it's over right?
We lost the election?

Yeah, NBN and Medicare is confirmed to be dismantled and sold to their tory buddies
