that pic doesn't correspond with the feeling you are describing. I do not feel good, let alone horny, when that happens

I see nothing wrong with that.

>3rd and long
>draw play

>3rd and 1
>jet sweep
>ball carrier fails to turn the corner
>get run out of bounds at the line of scrimmage
>runs into his coach

>1st and 10
>Run

>2nd Down
>Run

>3rd and long
>Incomplete pass

>"sport" only consists of set pieces
>even if your play doesn't success you have 3 more chances
>after 4 attempts teams swap possession
>repeat
This shit is dumb as fuck

Set pieces allow for the mot strategy. You really think a football coach on the side of the field yelling and waiving his arms around will have any affect outside of maybe set pieces?

I'm not against set pieces per se, I'm against a sport that literally only has set pieces

If American football had more live play would be better and more entertaining to watch

Sometimes you gotta unleash the dragon

Low scoring sports are for smart people who don't get bored after 60 minutes of no scoring

Also, that makes every goal count. In basketball you don't celebrate every basket

NFL is more often than not a low scoring game two. 21-14 is the equivalent to 3-2

The average score in football is 2-1. That'd be 14-7 in american football, which would be considered a low score

It's easier to score a touch down or a try in rugby than a goal in football

>tfw too smart for fun

you also get to "celebrate" 1st downs which is why this isn't so much of an issue

>time running out and need a touchdown to score
>QB throws check down passes across the middle to boost his stats

Constant tension and complex plays is better than "fun"

It's like comparing tarkovski to snyder

NFL has the most complex plays of any sport. Because I what I said above about coaches having so little involvement it means that the players just have to come up with the shit themselves in game.

>4th down
>spike the ball to stop the clock cause you forgot how many downs

no QB can be this dumb

>most complex plays of any sport
But no room to creativity, it's all 1 or 2 seconds plays that were made by the coach

Say my name
youtube.com/watch?v=7HmH_xDPetI

>4th and goal
>Jet Sweep

*60-yd bomb

>any play
>chuck Pagano is still the coach

>3rd and 48
>team fumbles

>But no room to creativity
Lol are you retarded? Playbooks have more than thousands of plays, all with different route trees, play fakes, and potential audibles. Why talk so much shit about a sport you literally know zero about?

>chosing a play from the book
>creativity
kek

You are officially talking out of your ass hole you stupid dog eater.

See that picture? That's a typical nfl play chart. X is defense. O is offense. Anything beyond those designated routes and blocking schemes is purely player talent, athleticism, and determination.

Now watch this video and tell me where those play calls tell a player to do this: youtu.be/K1EK3TDLZJY

>4th down inside 2 minutes
>Punt because your defense is the 2017 Jacksonville Jaguars
>They score and win the game for you

>4th and inches from opponent 38 yard line
>punt

>run for 8 yards on 1st down
>2nd and 2
>throw ball
>pass incomplete
>3rd and 2
>throw ball
>pass incomplete
