Who is canned on Black Sunday...Bret Bielema got canned from Arkansas today?

In 2007, a 2-loss team won the national championship largely because a 4-win Pitt team beat the #2 team in the nation during Rivalry Week and helped clear the way.

Which lucky 2-loss team is the recipient of Pitt's meme magic a decade later? Auburn, Ohio State, or Notre Dame?

Depends how the Iron Bowl and/or B1G title game go, tbqh

I don't think ND beating #21 Stanford will be enough

it'll be auburn

It makes no difference, Miami will still get in with a loss.

Assuming they beat Clemson.

Which, right now, is a pretty big assumption.

I mean it's not like Clemson looks particularly good this year. It's honestly a 50-50 between them

Miami has definitely been the shakier team
Miami nearly lost to Syracuse at home in the rain against a dome team and they weren't missing their QB or kicker
Miami fooled people by their games at home in primetime but they won't be at home at Charlotte
Gonna be 90% Clemson fans

>OSU wins B1G
>Clemson wins ACC
>1-2-3-4 will be Bama, Clemson, OSU and some irrelevant 4th team, like last year
>Bama and Clemson yet again

This is what the NCAA wants. This is what the NCAA gets.

Cap this.

Why are South Carolina fans so confident about winning a game they lost by 49 the year before?

>that southern education

>irrelevant 4th team
Do you mean Oklahoma who beat down Ohio State in Columbus?

Irrelevant since they won't play Ohio State in the first round and they'll lose to either Bama or Clemson

Today Todd Ellis said Clemson and Carolina were even and Carolina always win when the teams are even (Carolina 5-7 when the line is less than 3 since 1980)
Why would anyone say those teams are even NOW?

Not saying Carolina can't win but they aren't even

Georgia loses to Georgia State
Auburn gets blasted
SoCar somehow does something right and beats clemson, who then beats miami
Ohio State loses, then beats Bucky
WSU wins, but loses to USC
OU wins
Notre Dame chokes
Penn State chokes
final four thanks to Pitt meme magic
1.Bama
2. OU
3.USC
4.Clemson/Wisconsin

check em
3.

reroll

>Texas
Top fucking kek
They got fucking lucky with Will Grier injury last week.

>do you mean a Big 12 is irrelevant

Yes.

Syracuse beat Clemson, should Syracuse be in the playoff? Fuck off.

So where's that obnoxious uuuu tripfag with his power rankings now?

HAHAHAHAHAHA

No. You don't lose to pitt this late in the season and not get taken out of the running. Georgia lost to auburn 2 weeks ago and was dropped out of contention. Auburn is the 6th best team in the country. You (or should I say U, faggot), are delusional if you think miami's loss to pitt is somehow more salvageable than georgia's loss to auburn.

Damn it, I was busy all day. Is it too late to make fun of Bret Tubby Bielema?

I'm fine with the championship routinely coming down to a bama team and a team coached by a bama alum.

Football begins and ends in bama.

>fired from arkansawwwwww before he left the field of his final game
>quit Wisconsin before he left the field of his final game.

It's like pottery.

Agreed

Miami is fucking done unless a bunch of shit goes their way

>Oklahoma loses
>Wisconsin loses
>Alabama beats Auburn
>Alabama beats Georgia

at least 3 out of 4 have to happen and probably all 4 need to

Never going to happen thank god or Miami will get BTFO. Miami has struggled with just about every team they have played:
>cupcake
>cupcake
>cupcake
>FSU 24-20
>GT 25-24
>Cuse 27-19
>UNC 24-19
>PItt 14-24

Had a feeling that Miami was for real this season after the past couple of weeks. I wrote Richt off for a loss against VT or ND and thought maybe he had changed after being such a choke artist. Looks like Richt is still Richt.

BEAT FLORIDA

discord.gg/CQgGJJK

When did he choke at Georgia? Expecting him to go undefeated every year is retarded. At Miami, he VASTLY overexceeded expectations. That's the opposite of choking. I could understand if he took over 2000-2001 Miami, but this Miami program is in total rebuild in Richt is doing fantastic.

F-L-O-R-I-D-A S-T-A-T-E

FLORIDA STATE FLORIDA STATE FLORIDA STATE WOOOOOO!

Richt has the stigma, fair or not, of being good for at least one complete shitting of the bed a year
He certainly has Miami in a great place, but losing to that Pitt team with that much on the line is inexcusable

Who knew South Carolina got so tribal for the Clemson game?
video:
>twitter.com/UofSC/status/932820412337094656

Really want a cute USF slut to blow me right now

i'm down

WHERE ARE YOU GATOR POSTERS? I NEED SOME FIGHTS

discord.gg/CQgGJJK

Clemson did the exact same thing last year by losing to Pitt. Also lost to Cuse this year. FSU is in shambles. Future for Miami looks bright.

At Georgia, Richt was 145-51 from 2001-2015 (15 years), which was better than every team in the SEC other than LSU during that span.

As for "chokes" only two times he had an undefeated team at Georgia were:

>2001 when UGA was 8-0 (ranked #5) and finished #3, lost 13-20 to Florida in Jacksonville for the only loss of the season (Florida also beat Tennessee and Auburn), beat FSU in Sugar Bowl

2011 - Georgia was 7-0 and ranked #4 and lost 10-14 to Florida in Jacksonville. Finished #8 with a Sugar Bowl win over West Virginia

Man I'm so hyped for this day

Ohio State-Michigan game is such an artificial rivalry now

t. 16 year old

you can only post ITT if you're school is the best football team in your state. not so fast

>semenholes
>gaytors
>cryami
>bullfags
>punthers
>owlfags

That was unironically a great game.

Word on the street is that Florida is interviewing Frost in case Kelly turns them down. For me, he’d be my first choice.

So do I. But i'm also so fuckinf sad.

>Last saturdays of the year with tons of game. >Senior Day

ignoring the money, i'd be wary of taking the florida job. winning the division twice in 3 years still gets you run out of town. plus they jewed mcelwain out of most of his contract

You would literally get bootyblasted by any P5 in this state. Enjoy your wins little brother but watch your cockiness. Keep in mind you have had two winless seasons in this decade.

Has Harbaugh announced anything about quarterbacks? I have a sneaking suspicion that Speight is going to play today.

47th for the UUUUU

Group of 5 conferences shouldn't even be considered 1-A/FBS fuck off

Thanks doc

This is the only game of the year that matters to me. Hope the worst Beaver team in history can suprise everyone and shut the duck up, again.

I'm getting absolutely sloppy drunk today, friends.

GO BEAVS!!!!

>literally getting turned down by chip kelly

what's wrong with UF?

A one quality loss Miami still deserves to be in over a two loss B10 or B12 meme team. Or even over Wisconsin.

Michigan is Ohio State's bitch

>plus they jewed mcelwain out of most of his contract

It's his own dumb fault for making up death threats.

>quality loss
Boy they got their ass handed to them. Da U is not back

>Bear autistic mumbling

>ITT: we post coaches who saved their jobs by winning a big game

Don't know if that's true or not but my guess is that Kelly wants the UCLA job like a poll of coaches predicted would be best for him. Kelly's Oregon teams relied on speed and endurance like a soccer team, so he recruited smaller, athletic offensive lineman that got blown up every time he faced an SEC team or Ohio State. Sure, he could go to the SEC and build his team NFL style like he did for the Eagles, but that's not fun. For fun, he needs to go BACK TO THE PAC WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

>UCF is 12-0

Is this a dream? They were the worst team in CFB just two fucking seasons ago.

>Quality loss
>>Raped by unranked shittsburg
>>>Over undefeated Wisconsin
Now that's what I call cancer

11-0 because we lost a game due to the hurricane. Feels great but still sucks because someone is going to poach our coach

yep. Too bad Frost is gonna leave us and we'll be 6-6 next year with some FCS shit at the helm.

McElwain got fired because the offense has been straight fucking trash his entire tenure, which he was brought in to fix, not to mention you know making up death threats and just generally being a mediocre recruiter.

Frost to FSU OC/DC

>Tom Herman took a somewhat complete rebuild to a 6-6 season.
>Tom Herman had less one possession losses(I.E. competitive) than Charlie Strong
>2017 Texas had a worse offense than 2016 Texas

I was told this faggot was going to light up our offense and fix the team. What the fuck happened?

>mike riley still employed

When Florida whiffs on Frost, what are the odds the Ol' Ball Coach comes back for 2-3 years to keep things steady until a long-term solution is found?

4 more games for #8.

TBQH a two quality-loss Ohio State still deserves to be in the playoff over a B10 bottomfeeder like Wisconsin

Ohio State
>Michigan

0. our AD is a fucking retard. we'll probably hire bielema, sumlin, kiffin, or some other retread.

fucker was practically begging to keep his job after the game last night
one of the more pathetic media interactions I've witnessed
at least try to keep your dignity on your way out
Sad!

Low attendance of NFL teams at Michigan/Ohio State with all the other great games today competing for the NFL's eye

Why not give Les a call? or Mack Brown?

>unironically living in ohio

Michigan is Ready

Who will take over UCF when Frost goes to Nebraska?

>talks shit about attending a top 5 public university
>while living in Ohio

>Lee Corso shitting on Kirk
Nice

Our OC if Frost doesn't take him with him. He's a former UCF player and stayed with the team since he graduated. If not, I think we'll make a play for Kiffin.

Who is playing qb today?

youtube.com/watch?v=e-Mg0ULrcaY

One of those "cupcakes", Toledo, they've actually struggled against and they're about to win their conference themselves.

Scheduling Toledo should never be considered a "cupcake", Pablo. They're one of the better G5 schools for the past few years.

That game was basically Virginia part one.

Turns out the 2014 Ohio State team was really, really fucking good and made a bunch of coattail riders look good

>tfw when no relegation conference games

>Syracuse vs UNC
Loser goes to the AAC
>Kansas vs Baylor
Loser goes to the Mt West
>Maryland/Indiana vs. Illinois
Loser goes to the MAC
>Oregon St vs Utah/Colorado
Loser goes to the Sun Belt
>Vanderbilt/Tennessee vs. Arkansas
Loser goes to CUSA

wew that ND bait

>the year before
Since when did the previous year have any impact on the next game?

WHY THE FUCK IS ND STILL IN IT REEEEEE

user confirmed bootyblasted af

>4 games giving up 50+ pts this season
>4-8

Tulane coach Willie Fritz

It would take a lot for a two loss team to get in as it sits right now.if Alabama is the only one to lose today they might still get in like Ohio State did last year especially if it comes down to:
1. Acc champ (Clemson or miami)
2. Wisconsin
3. Oklahoma
4. One loss Alabama

Auburn needs South Carolina to beat Clemson.

Can a SCAR fan tell me how Muschamp is doing? I miss him.

IT’S GAMEDAY BOYS

1. Auburn or Bama
2. Wisconsin
3. Oklahoma
4. UCF if they beat Memphis

Doing ok. Roper sucks ass though

So if Auburn beats Bama in a last second play and wins the SEC, and the rest of the top four wins out, the playoff looks like
1. Clemson
2. Auburn
3. Oklahoma
4. Alabama

Right?

sec championship here we come

today is the GOAT game for the Oak Bucket, first time both teams meeting with bowl eligibility on the line
