Honestly, while Aliens is a pretty damn good movie, I think it was a mistake pushing it away from horror and into action/thriller. That way we'd be exploring Giger landscapes right now instead of creating action set pieces (a xenomorph is on top of the aircraft! jeez, i wonder how that'll turn out)
