First for the GOAT

>texas A&M thinks they're a big boy program because johnny manziel memed on bama once
Is there anything that guy hasn't fucked up for everyone else?

fuck Nebraska and fuck Tennessee

aTm athletic department after they pay Jimbo's $40M buy out.

Why don't any of your fuckers get it?
For Jimbo to leave they just have to buyout his assistants

STOP TRYING TO STEAL OUR COACH CORNFUCKERS

A&M has shittons of money to blow that's why they're a sleeping giant you retard

>fuck Nebraska

Chad Lunsford won two games and they've already named him permanent HC at Georgia Southern

a sleeping meme

...

>they're a sleeping giant you retard

Ha! Scream at the sky autist

For the Glory of Oklahoma!

>Frost leaves
>team is mentally fucked up
>lose to Memphis
>get banished to the Belk Bowl

I'd rather have another winless season than getting my dick sucked all season and then right when I'm about to cum my dick gets bitten off.

winning in cfb is about more than money memeboy

>AP split on OU and Clem for #1
>Coaches split on Wisky and Clem for #1

Navy's uniform for Army Navy Game.
twitter.com/NavyFB/status/935223363584385029

So realistically can Tennessee actually get a good coach at this point or are they boned? Might as well kick them out of the SEC

If only that meant anything

Alabama misses the playoffs

>Jimbo to TAMU
Wait what

first for FUCK NEBRASKA

can they =/= will they

They also have recruiting clout not only in Texas but SEC areas. They should be a playoff contender every year

At this point I'd say its the same thing

A&M has never won anything significant in the modern era of CFB, even with their resources. They've always been in the shadow of UT and OU and with the move to the SEC they'll remain in the shadow of Bama, Auburn, and even dumpster fires like UTenn. They are a program that is always a "sleeping giant" but one that never awakens. I'm not saying it can't happen, but history is against the Aggies.

Yeah i know right

cbssports.com/nfl/news/jon-gruden-talking-to-tennessee-volunteers-about-coaching-vacancy/amp/

This was from 7 hours ago

ESPNU Sirius/XM radio just stated Matt Campbell of ISU turned down the Tenn job.

Currie has fucked this up so badly.

Outside of the Sandusky stuff, has Currie done anything wrong instead of picking a guy the fans don't like?

>cbssports.com/nfl/news/jon-gruden-talking-to-tennessee-volunteers-about-coaching-vacancy/amp/

Word has it that Haslam was going to foot the bill for Gruden. Offered $10M/yr for him and another $10M/yr for assistant pool.

Gruden said no.

Tennessee fans are the most cancerous delusional fanbases in the country

logic and reason don't apply

is there an easier board to bait than Sup Forums?

>Tennessee fans are the most cancerous delusional fanbases in the country

Nebraska says hold my beer. Commits stalking

>logic and reason don't apply
Ordinarily I'd agree, but they did just chase a child-rape apologist & known douchebag out of town.

Did you guys get to see the farmboy from Nebraska who posted:
>Lincoln, NE is the second largest city in the state at a population of 280,364. that is 160,080 more people than Norman, OK

How adorable is that? In Nebraska they have no idea what suburbs are, isn't that cute?
>(hey farmboy, Norman is a suburb of OKC, pop 1.5 million).

I got a kick out of that, also nice to see the OU vs Nebraska rivalry again

...

They didn't chase out butch jones after calling a player a traitor for helping a chick who was sexually assaulted

nah, all they did was have a social media witch hunt because they really think tennessee is a big program

schiano would have been great there

no one cares

aaron was good boy

>big program
for you

>Oklahoma is the new national title favorite per @BovadaLV. Alabama, Auburn and Clemson tied for second best odds.

Let's go!!!

That made my day. I love country people. The guys and gals

As usual, the Southern Baptist pastor is wrong. IRL, lies DO become truth, wrong DOES become right, and evil DOES become good, just because it's accepted by a majority. People with money and power have become very efficient at doing convincing majorities of these very things.

>bragging about living in a big city
What a world we live in

>Greg Schiano's character has been backed by Urban Meyer and Bill Belichick

Why didn't that settle it? It's not like Tennessee fans have any reason not to trust those two

oklahoma gives up 98% of opp avg run and 101% for pass, tcu gives up 89% of opp avg in passing

tcu's d is really average

i don't think tcu will win the b12 but oklahoma wont win the natty

:)

Samefag

holy shit you are a fucking clown

> (You)
>Samefag

That was me. Not the other two.

>instantly goes to name-calling
WEW LADS

Okay, his character in criminal cases is fine.

Now, about his failings as a head coach...

You have my word that user is an elite shitposter
,elite autist, and elite member of the /cfb/ community

TCU has the 18th best defense and they played several top 10 offenses.
Oklahoma's defense is passable when they play against run heavy teams that can't reliably through the deep ball.

>He has an endorsement from Urban Meyer
I love the fact that the media keep using that line
Why the fuck would Tennessee want to associate their new head coach with Urban Meyer?

>ever trusting Urban Meyer and Bill Belicheat
I'm pretty sure you're just being sarcastic, but just in case you're not, I'm lmfao right now.

>schiano would have been great
That's why he was hired. The AD looked at a list of names, salary requirements, and lifetime record, and pulled the trigger.

The fanbase looked at the child-rape ignoring, full-pad practicing, small-man-syndrome-having, NFL-failing douchebag, and was like, "Nah."

No fucking way does OU win the natty, they're this years sacrificial lamb if they even get in (like Washington a year ago).

If TCU wins tho...........

There's no football reason to think that Schiano would have been a great hire
Basically all the mob did was move up his firing 4 years

And before anyone starts up about Sandusky, everything else on that list is enough to disqualify him. His tenure on the Buccaneers should be all anyone ever needs to pass him over for HC jobs.

>Urban "heart problems" Meyer and Bill Bellicheat vouch for his character
Wow it's literally less than nothing.

>"My sources deep within the A&M Athletic Department inform me A&M will indeed hire a new Head Coach prior to the start of the 2018 season. He will sign a contract of certain terms in regards to length and salary. What a time to be an Aggie!"
>"He was always our first choice"
>"And we always felt he was the best fit for the program. This, despite any obviously false overtures we may have made to other coaches."
>"And I’ll tell you this… he won the press conference. The guy won the press conference."
>"He really "gets" A&M."
>"He fits the culture."
Just getting the usual wordisms out of the way early.

Stats are misleading since changes have been made to OU's defense since the end of the OSU game and they finally got their shit together against TCU by changing their corners, getting their nose tackle/defensive lineman Lampkin back from an injury, and no longer need to have Obo, their best pass rusher, play in coverage instead of rushing 4.

TCU has played beyond well against the best offensive teams in the country and were statistically equivelant to Alabama before they played OU and got blown out in the first half then stat padded their defensive stats in the second half after OU just started running the ball and eating clock instead of running their regular offense and OU's defense shut down TCU in the second half minus some gimmie points to just end the game sooner because it was dragging on so long it seemed like the game was 5 hours long.

Tennessee needs to realize that Greg Schiano was as good as it gets. You aren't a desirable place and no one's going to come kicking your door down for a job. Now that you scared him away, every coach with a brain is going to not touch Knoxville with a twenty mile pole. Currie fucked up by letting his school's fanbase dictate who can and cannot coach for the Vols. He should have told his fans to fuck off. They need to realize they aren't pulling another Fulmer again for a long time, if ever.

>comparing this team to last year's Washington

>thinking this team couldn't drop 30 on Bama an Auburn's mostly run defense and stop their mostly run offense to at least 24 points

I bet you OU would be favored by 6 points against every team in the nation at this point but maybe Clemson.

So who do >we hire as head coach. Thinking Buddy Stevens or maybe that guy Tennessee was stupid enough not to take.

>only utep is worse than my school
just fire the charlotte AD already

>lose to Ole Piss
>Fitz hurt
>coach who said there's no way he's leaving leaves
What did Clanga do to deserve this?

I disagree
Schiano wasn't the best get
I'd take the James Madison coach over him
Neal Brown possibly
The Memphis coach would up there
But the admin wanted a .500 guy with a spotty record from incidents THIS DECADE

I forgot the graph

Acceptable vocations to be a southern adult named Jimbo:

- Mechanic
- Fiddle player
- Bartender
- Bootlegger
- Bookmaker
- Greenskeeper
- Caddie
- Shrimper
- College football coach

charlotteobserver.com/sports/college/article186531988.html
>After 1-11 season, why 49ers coach Brad Lambert says he’s still ‘right guy for this place’
Guessing you're not happy

tcu gave up 35 to a k-state team that put up only 7 on vandy

not really impressed by them, their loss on the season was not an aberration, they lost because of something they have struggled with all season

like miami's loss was an aberration, it was the first time their offense had ever performed so poorly in a game, really think that of all the contenders moving forward oklahoma has the worst chances of a natty win.

Acceptable vocations to be a southern adult named Dabo:
- Mega church pastor
- Male escort
- Methamphetamine salesman
- College football coach

Literally nothing m8. It really does hurt. Dan Mullen is a rat bastard. Not for leaving but the way he did it. Honestly hope he goes 11-1 every year, that 1 being state that keeps him out of the CFP forever. Dude had it made at state 6 million to win 6-9 games a year? Plus with old piss about to be BTFO by the NCAA his recruiting would have been easy. He didn't even say goodbye.

No I'm not

He's getting diminishing returns
Why did you guys add football if your ad isn't gonna care about it?

Well vegas says otherwise.

December Coaching Carousel for TAMU:

Jimbo Fisher, Florida State – to be honest I just don’t care for him. 2 Nattys, 1 as OC and 1 as HC, 3 ACC Titles, and 4 ACC Atlantic Titles. This does not impress me. Pass
Chad Morris, SMU – A rising star but since 2015 he has gone from 5th to 4th place with SMU. As Clemson’s OC in 2015 National Championship against Alabama, they lost in a close game, 40-45. The little voice in my head says, Pass.
Mike Leach, Washington State – 1 Big 12 South Division Title. Got his ass handed to him last weekend by Univ of Wa. I like his offensive scheme but his defenses suck. If hired "Chief" stays and that is non-negotiable. Hire
Mike Gundy, Oklahoma State – 1 Big 12 Championship and 1 Big 12 South title. I like Gundy’s Offense but his defenses have given up to many yards and big plays. If hired he needs to leave the mullet in Stillwater. Make sure contract states no mullets allowed and "Chief" stays and that is non-negotiable. Hire
Justin Fuente, Virginia Tech – No titles but awarded ACC Coach of the Year. Pass
Matt Campbell, Iowa State – 2 MAC West Titles. Not enough accomplishments. Pass
Les Miles, former LSU coach – 1 Natty, 2 SEC Titles, and 3 SEC West Titles. Les is colorful, funny, and he eats turf. Just the revenge factor against LSU and LSU Alumni would be enough to get him to take the position. Hire
Philip Montgomery, Tulsa – No titles and has losing record for 2017. Pass
Blake Anderson, Arkansas State – 2 Sunbelt Championships. Pass
Frank Wilson, UTSA – No accomplishments. Pass
Joe Moorhead, Penn State (OC) – No accomplishments but improved Penn State offensive output. I don’t think he is ready to be a HC in the SEC West. Pass
Not on any list but I thought he would be a viable candidate.
Bob Stoops, former OU Coach – 1 Natty, 10 Big 12 Championships and has 79% winning percentage. He is a great recruiter and players respect him. If hired Sabin’s pucker factor would be 100 fold. Yes "Chief" stays and that is non-negotiable. Hire

Some of my favorites

Why would you use Meyer to sell anything to Tennessee fans?
That's like using Saban to sell to Auburn fans

And Tim Beck also coached under Tennessee for 2 years

>Schiano defense force

whats wrong with the media

It's apparently now cool to defend nazis and pedophile enablers in the media. Thanks Trump.

>Why is the media defending pedo enablers?
user...

How could be any more ignorant or are you just false flagging?

They didn't even want to add it. The students and alumni did. And then like most of the other programs the AD has done a piss poor job of building up the program. They went from a potential big east expansion program that annoyed louisville under her watch to a cusa basement dweller. Everyone wants her gone.

How can you be mad at a guy for upgrading his life? Like you wouldn't take a raise at a better company.

>Having a chick as your AD
That's your first problem

Any Mizzou Fans here?

Florida is a lateral move especially gainsville. And his wife hates it there.

he was never charger or implicated by anyone except one guy and both parties implicated deny it

not charged, not asked to testify in the sandusky case literally nothing to do with it except very very very speculative hearsay

He said he wasn't leaving for a school that he said was a lateral move and wife openly complained about their fans

I'd be pretty pissed too

Wow Mullen gives a really good speech.

what's good man

I'm sure you know what his wife likes and dislikes. Florida absolutely is not a lateral move. Gainesville may be a lateral move from Starkville (never been to either) but the programs absolutely are not comparable.

Why was my post deleted?

the worst thing is she been there for over 20 years
