Has anyone here had new stadiums built on FM18 yet? In my facilities overview, the tab "Future stadium plans: Stage: Planning permission; planned capacity: 20000 (20000 seated)" has remained static for a year or so, and I am wondering how long it usually takes from the planning to the building stage
Mine hasn't moved either. I assumed it was a glitch I mean new feature.
It may have taken a couple of years or so on FM17, so I hope this doesn't mean that my game is broken. 12500 can prove very little in the long run unless they septuple the ticket prices or something.

pic related, my stadium for the last 14 years even though in that time ive won the EPL 9 times, UCL 6 times, club value always above $1billon and completely sold out season ticket holders and had 100% capacity every year since it was built.
not once have i had the option to expand or build a new one.
Well, that's the old "have to wait 20 years for a new stadium to be built"-rule that has been in FM for many years. You will be able ti build a new one when the current one is 20 years old.
Last year, I had a bug where I only was allowed 350 people at my stadium in Premier League for a year, even though I had 8000 seats or so.
i thought i remembered some underlying rule about building a new one, but no expansions since its inception??
Was it built as 12500? They usually have some expansion capacity when built. Maybe you can be allowed to have a peek or something with an editor.
Might've been built to max capacity which is determined randomly at the time of planning depending on a few factors such as teams popularity, league standing and so on at the time of planning
