If you think expanding the playoff is a good idea than kys.
It's a shit idea. If you want a chance to win a championship than don't lose more than 1 game and win your conference. If you do both of those things you are in (only team to not get in was Baylor).
If there were 8 than Clemson, Wisconsin and Oklahoma could both lose this weekend and still get in so it's like they are playing for nothing. And that would commonly happen every year when it should be very rare.

This. It's just increasing the number of teams that bitch about being left out.

Right now we have a setup where almost every major major conference championship game has a playoff spot at stake for the winner. And if you increase spots, it's taking away what college football always have as an advantage over the NFL: regular season games and upsets have stakes.

Control your own destiny and don't lose, faggot.

Jimbo Fisher officially resigns. Will not coach their meme-game tommorow.

>Aryan goddess
uh oh should we tell him?

gimme the rundown on this coaching shitshow

Haslem is not only losing control at Tennessee but potentially with the NFL as well...

Report: NFL concerned with Pilot Flying J fraud case involving Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam:

7th for Auburn SEC champs

1. Georgia
2. Oklahoma
3. Wisconsin
4. Auburn

>Jumbo Flasher goin to Taxes A&M

WEW LAWDY

How long will it be before Paul finebaum’s victims come forward?

1. Clemson
2. Oklahoma
3. Georgia
4. Ohio State

That’s fine, I mean let’s just take a look at FSU’s recruiti-

>Tennessee Browns

>teams most likely to lose

This is retarded. Theres no way Auburn can lose and still be in

How did Finebaum react as a Tennessee alum?

Wow. Rocky Top indeed! Looks like Anderson and Thornton have ousted Haslem is the power struggle for control of the Tennessee Empire...

>UT Chancellor Beverly Davenport, despite her awareness of Currie’s attempt to hire Greg Schiano last Sunday, fired Currie Friday morning, just hours after Currie returned home from what sources said was an unsanctioned West Coast trip. In fact, sources on the UT campus believe Currie did not inform anyone – including athletics department administrative assistants – of his whereabouts on Thursday.

>Davenport is holding a 4:00 PM ET press conference today on the UT campus to insert Phillip Fulmer atop the athletics program.

>The other choice considered to replace Currie per people on campus was Reid Sigmon, Currie’s No. 2 and chief lieutenant. Multiple sources said that Sigmon was backed by Jimmy Haslam while Fulmer possessed resounding support among other constituencies, including boosters John ‘Thunder’ Thornton and Charlie Anderson.

>As for Fulmer? “He was pretty removed from the day-to-day of this search,” a source intimately briefed on the proceedings, but unable to speak on the record said. “Fulmer has been engaged by key boosters who love Tennessee to get involved. Bottom line, those boosters believe Tennessee needs Phillip Fulmer now more than ever.”

>Tennessee has scheduled meetings with athletes, as well as staff and senior staff throughout the day today in addition to its scheduled press conference.

Jews won't use the same storyline twice

Friendly reminder FSU has to hire a minority coach now

Kinda feels like FSU and A&M lost
Jimbo probably only wanted the leverage
But he lost the power play
Now he's at a school he didn't want to be at playing a much, much, much tougher schedule
A&M got their guy but he didn't really want to be there
And FSU gets into the carousel late

Everyone loses

>he didn't really want to be there
Yes because the three things Jimbo wanted (more money, better facilities, and a less retarded administration) aren't really what he wanted

Why?

>caring about the color of a person's skin

Don't act like anyone actually wants to get rid of racism. They just want to change the form of it.

Is FSU on Tennessee levels of JUST or do we need to wait until they hire Sumlin or some other black coach?

Athletic Director mandate they won't hire a white guy, that's not racist in today's world

He would have just left if he wasn't trying to leverage anything
We're also leaving out how hard his schedule is now
He goes from Boston College and Syracuse to playing Bama, Auburn, and LSU every year and Clemson the next two years

He'd been better off leaving last year

You shit up the last thread and everyone blew you the fuck out, samefag. If you think there are only 4 teams with a legitimate argument for the playoff you're beyond fucking delusional. 8 out of 128 teams is not too many.

A) there’s 130 teams
B) the playoff should not expand because it risks messing with the regular season
C) fuck you

No. While getting off to a late start to recruiting is bad, Tennessee is on a whole level of fucked.

Post >yfw Memephis pulls the upset and G5fags fuck off for another 9 months

Brady Hoke named Tennessee head coach.

CLAP CLAP CLAPCLAPCLAP

Big Heavy has returned

UT students just now notified of the change. It’s official. Fulmer is the new AD

>Fisher didn't even tell Francois he was leaving
>FSU players extremely bootyblasted by it
O I AM LAFFIN

Don't forget to take your Synodrin

youtube.com/watch?v=YAH5xKjZ0HE

>Fisher didn't even tell Francois he was leaving

"sorry about that famb"

Name a football program that is more JUST than Tennessee

I'll wait

>giving a shit what some 18 yr old thinks about anything

Division 1 athletes are big booster fucktoys

>>FSU players extremely bootyblasted by it
They knew this was coming. Hell, everyone in the world knew this was coming. If they didn't know, then they should not be on a football field due to their lack of awareness.

It's OK though, because now we are getting a true Floridian as HC.

we had it man.. we had recovered from everything with the leach hire

and then haslamniggers had to ruin it. anyone who willingly subjects themselves to UT football after today almost certainly has undiagnosed fetal alcohol syndrome

>FSU

It's gonna be Taggart

>Jimbo still plays Clemson the next two years

>going all in on the Taggart hire
>not diversifying your coach portfolio
have you learned nothing from Tennessee?

Tell me about Taggart. Why does he drive the bus?

Ha I never even thought of that. He'll be the first FBS team we play next year

Now we'll never get to see Leach vs Saban. Wtf are Tennessee boosters doing? Who are they after?

was crashing the university part of his plan?

so if Jimbo can go to a&m from FSU - what prevents other historically mediocre programs with unlimited $$ grab a dream coach?

Hell Jimbo has to coach against Clemson and Alabama within the first 4 games next year at a new program.

He's playing 12D chess

you're right, meant clempson

youtube.com/watch?v=1wiyms-nLb0

UT Press conference

FUCK YOU BITCH GIVE US LEACH REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Perhaps he's wondering why you would fire a coach before rehiring him as the athletic director

Phil, we don't give a fuck about your family unless your daughter is the next HC at Tennessee

poverty schools BTFO

"We're here to begin a new erea of Vols Football!"
>introduces Fat Fuck Phil Fulmer

>the university of Tennessee is a fantastic institution

Stopped watching right there

HASLAM BTFO

now this nigga from the blind side gonna read from a sheet lmao

oh this is juicy, now that Anderson got his guy in Fulmer, will Anderson also get his guy in Jeremy Pruitt? Here are the names Tenn has been considering:

>Jeremy Pruitt (DC Bama): per sources, Pruitt has the support of Vols mega-booster Charlie Anderson, who’s quietly worked very effectively to try and help rescue Currie, Chancellor Beverly Davenport, and the University of Tennessee from this disastrous process.

>SMU coach Chad Morris: has not formally spoken with UT about the job, but has been vetted by the Currie-led UT search group.

>Memphis coach Mike Norvell: A source on Thursday also said Mike Norvell, believed a leading candidate at Arkansas, also would “definitely be open” to speaking with Tennessee.

>Additionally, former Volunteers’ quarterback Tee Martin and Lane Kiffin are confirmed to have interest in the job. On Wednesday, two sources indicated Kiffin and Martin would be willing to work together; it was tweeted by former Vols and NFL wideout Dontè Stallworth later Wednesday night.

>Kevin Sumlin: Per a source still involved in the college game who played for both Tennessee and in the NFL, the Currie-led UT search group had or intended to reach out to recently fired Texas A&M head coach

DOOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO

DUMB NIGGERS GET PETRINO REEEEEEEEEE

so when Fulmer flops on this coaching search ,how long will he actually last before he's forced to resign again?

FUCK YOU ANSWER THE FUCKING QUESTION BITCH

Leach question already, kek

THIS HO IS NOT HAPPY

>pruitt
trash

>morris
literal who trash

>norvell
absolute nobody trash

>tee martin
no

>sumlin
i'd be okay with it, but leach or petrino would be much better

lmao this dumb cunt deflecting questions. I hope every AD this bitch hires publically fails. so glad based Leach wasnt sucked into this dumpster fire

if fulmer gets some garbage coach equivalent to schiano or doeren then hopefully there will be a chimpout the likes of which has never been seen in college sports

just fucking bring in Les Miles, Mike Leach, Bobby Petrino, or Lane Kiffin and call it a fucking day

>tfw less of a dumpster fire than Tennessee

this. any of those are fine by me.

no schiano-tier trash coaches

UT can still make this a win. Here's how:

1. drew lock leaves for the nfl
2. mizzou's plane crashes

they are gonna hire Tee to try and save face with the fanbase and it will be an unmitigated disaster.

LSU can't afford that salary lol. Their state government underwent a fiscal crisis and it would look fucking terrible to pay a coach 7.5 million a year. On top of that, A&M's AD was the one at LSU while Fisher was there too. LSU's current AD is confirmed ass and no one wants to work for him.

>former-star coach Fulmer fails as an AD
>former-star QB Tee Martin fails as a rookie HC
good, everything about that garbage school and state needs to burn

they've brought shame to the SEC and deserve nothing but misery

>can't be a college football dumpster fire if you don't really play college football

Does anyone actually think teams like UT or TAM can ever really make a run in the playoffs (or even win the SEC)? Are they really one or two recruiting classes away? Like why the fuck does anyone even care about these shitty redneck dumpster fires.

>ITT: "waaaaah waaaaaaah why won't these programs just go full meme so we can meme on them waaaaaah!"
lmao y'all are shitters

>Like why the fuck does anyone even care about these shitty redneck dumpster fires.
like it or not, UT is a big market CFB program.

They're kind of turning into the Knicks under the Isiaha years

A&M will be in the playoffs within three years with Jimbo.

>why does anyone care

its entertaining as hell

As long as he takes those asinine pimp canes away.

Jimbo is a choker. Almost always loses a game he has no business losing

Kek, jokes on you. You just bought a $75M bust. JF can't develop players. Look at FSU since JW5 left.

The nice thing about college football is that even though you get football dynasties, they eventually regress and allow for other teams to come through. Bama is seeing the last years of its 21st century dominance and will likely regress once saban retires. Teams like Clemson and TCU which were for the most part quiet programs have broken through and will usher a new era, but they too will regress after a few more seasons when other hot shot teams come up. Then we get back to the USC/Bama/Texas dominance again. CFB is a meme cycle

>Pruitt
Got Jimbo and Winston their natty
>Morris
Kicked Clemson into gear
>Norvell
He's currently at the helm of the most successful football program in Tennessee in the last decade

Why the fuck would you want Petrino?
That shows how fucking clueless you are

lel. Even with a transcendent QB, texas a&m still lost 2 games. It's not a matter of coaching, it's that they can't recruit 5 stars on both sides of the ball. They are institutionally mediocre - like a Missouri / Tennessee / Ole Miss / Mississippi State.

so wrong.

Is that why Jimbo is fleeing to A&M to reset the clock on his coaching career?

>so wrong.

Since JW5 was around, what has JF won? Nothing. He is 10/10 in the ACC since JW5 left.

Tbqh only losing one game you have no business losing is better than losing 3 like tamu has been doing thus far

Will the ride ever end???

Kek. The absolute state of tennessee football right now is the best way to close out 2017

that was an enjoyable watch

No, because the ceiling is higher at A&M than it is at FSU. SEC > ACC

Tee is a god awful OC. USC fans are hoping he goes because his playbook consists of approximately 8 plays
