>black character with super powers
>it's electricity powers

fuck off, let this one die and start another one with a better picture of x23.

he Good
>Wolverine-Laura-Xavier arc/dynamic
>Old Logan
>Old Xavier
>Laura X-23
>Dafne Keen
>X-24 having Creed's haircut
>We see Wolverine go full snikt
>Laura's fighting style in general and how she uses her size and foot claws
>The whole Barn scene
>Logan vs X-24
>Logan vs mooks
>dat hotel scene

The Bad
>X-24 in general, I mean it was executed pretty well but it could have been more than a literal wolverine clone, I guess I was expecting Creed as the main villain
>The fucking kids plot
>fucking kids combining their powers to EASILY subdue and kill Pierce and not using the same thing on X-24
>the whole fucking kids was cheesy as fuck
>the Adamantum bullet killing X-24 (though in its defense I really thought they would kill him by molten adamantum)

Good for stealing copper wire.

I agree with the kids part in terms of their shitty acting, but I can see why they were scared of fucking with X-24 because he could probably gut them all with one slash.

>they were scared of fucking with X-24 because he could probably gut them all with one slash.

He COULD.

And the only one preventing that is losing badly and is about to die

The kids saw the chance to fucking kill the guy who tormented them all their life.

Protip to villians: don't try to kill the kids you've been trying to make into super soldiers when they have fucking superpowers. They'll squeeze you to death with grass.

>sabertooth survives liberty island, regrets everything he puts logan through, so goes back in time to 1876 when he wasn't all fucked up yet and brings him to the present

bravo Mangold!

youtube.com/watch?v=lFJywpD2PU4

and they could ahve done the same to X-24

but I guess Logan had to die.. so

bump

That scene where the fat kid was running was hilarious

apparently not as hilarious as Logan venting his frustrations on the truck after burying Xavier, complete gigglefest.

I mean seriously, I get that everybody's had that moment but read the mood

Oh man, I love Gary Coleman. I wonder what he's up to nowadays.

He's dead

>Logan venting his frustrations on the truck
That made me super uneasy coupled with the fact that everyone was laughing at it.

better version of Logan

How did Logan get across the border with a bullet ridden limo? No one asked questions about it? Wouldn't there have been a massive manhunt for him after he murdered 30 federales?

I only lost my sides at I HAVE TO PEE

I dunno, sometimes the classics just can't be beat.

Not him but don't forget-they're, well, kids. Even with intense military training they're probably less precise with their powers than the adult X-Men. And THEY still had friendly fire issues at times.

It's a choice between "MAYBE kill the unstoppable ragebeast man-mountain" and "PROBABLY hit one or more of the two people among us who can actually fight on his level without shooting powers"

And be fair-telekinesis spic boy slammed a truck on him once Logan got clear.

this everyone was laughing but that's not what I took away from the scene

No one laughed in the cinema when I watched it

I thought that about the kids, but then I realised X-24 is a relentless killing machine who could fucking wreck them and the whole point was they're just fucking kids. Pierce was just a normal guy with no powers.

>And be fair-telekinesis spic boy slammed a truck on him once Logan got clear.

Was it telekinesis or did he have Magneto's DNA?

that's what happens when you try to make serious capekino. the audience is still capeshit fans.

That kid was Rictor, he uses earth control powers, think Toph from Avatar.

it was terrakinesis

>American Dad

hell naw

I'm guessing through the unstoppable combination of

1. Driving like crazy over the backroads, without sleeping

2. Transigen going all hush-hush on the above-board popo to cover up their own pursuit of him

3. It's the Mexican border. Someone was smuggling a family drug mules, and the cops were getting too old for this shit.

The hell? I thought he picked up the truck itself, not move the earth to move it.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rictor

To be fair they were all being raised as supersoldiers. Way I saw it, most of those other kids seemed to be the power-spam kind of mutant while X-23 seemed to be the only melee specialist, and one who inherited daddy Logan's berserk rage to boot. So the others would have been nowhere near as desensitised to close quarters combat since their training probably would've focused on doing stuff at range.

It's like a D&D party where there's a bunch of wizards, clerics and psions-and one girl just rolled a berserker.

How cute was Laura though? She was pretty hot in a few scenes

>when she is sitting slanted waiting for the bad guys to come in to the run down building
>when she is looking at the black boy's earbuds
>when she leans over and takes the keys and gets really close to Logan
>when he had his head resting on her lap

Not gonna lie, boys, I was pretty jealous of Jackman.

Hello Milo

>capable of generating and releasing seismic energy and tremendously powerful waves of vibrations in any nearby object

I dunno, it still sounds more like really heavy-handed telekinesis to me

>sexual orientation

...huh. Is this normal for comics?

Would Sup Forums be triggered if adult!Rictor ends up being a prominent character/team leader in the inevitable X-23 movie, knowing he's canonically homo?

>I was pretty jealous of Jackman.

Yeah but then you see what's waiting for him at home

>spoiler

Sup Forums is triggered by everything and nothing, the sooner you just laugh at it all the better

nice meme

I've never looked up his wife. How bad is it?

Isn't this the nigga in the gif that is trying to stare at the camera but looking back as to not look like he is staring?

...

>How bad is it?
Ever heard of the Bogdanoffs?

I mean, you're not wrong.

I just wanted a guess at whether moreso than usual, or not.

Eh, not my type desu. Hit Girl's more my speed.

nice

Everyone's making a big deal about this nigger but the truth is he has no powers in real life. I could fucking kill him without even trying in a one on one death match but no one fucking cares because I'm from singapore instead of a zoo

She's not my type either. But a few times she raised my eyebrows. Thats all.

Just googled her.

..

HOW?
Why would he ever?

...I'm sorry, are you implying Hugh Jackman has fucking adamantium claws and Patrick Stewart is a telepath IRL?

It's all about love I guess

she gives mad head

women like that know they have to keep their 10/10 game to keep guys like him

BRRIP for public shitters WHEN

...

Maybe go buy a fucking movie ticket and sit your ass in a seat for two hours and enjoy the movie with other human beings, you waste of space?

he fell for the MILF meme

Well it's not like she's doing any business downstairs considering they have adopted kids.

Who will carry on the Jackedman genes dammit?!

t. movie theater sales rep

>that brown skin and afro
she got kiked.com

At least he looks like he's having fun(???)

Seriously, look at that man. His sides are visibly expanding.

ffs she had 2 miscarriages because she tried to have kids at ~40 kek

got married to hugh at 41

just watched the movie I have some questions. Why was Logan dying? I thought it was explained with the food/corn and whatever poison they used to suppress the muties but then somethings didn't make sense.

The adamantium was starting to degrade his body.

Not a comic book fag or anything but he does imply that his adamantium skeleton is taking its toll on his body and slowly poisoning him.

The adamantium poisoning is growing faster since his healing factor is slowing with age

The adamantium plating his bones was slowly, slowly poisoning him; presumably his old age was because even the regen that kept him immortal was struggling against it. It apparently only started getting truly lethal at the time of the movie.

it was a combination of things, the adamantium in his body, the food and drink that was sterilizing mutants, and just plain old age, he was 200+ at this point.

Man even Nicole Kidman managed to pull off a 40+ birth

I liked the arc with the black family, it really drove home how Logan destroys anyone who ever cares for him.

Also senile Professor X is amazing. Patrick Stewart absolutely nails the role.

It's a movie idiot it's not real, they're normal people

I would probably need a gun or a knife for those 2

Deadpool should have arrived in the end scene, wheres he in this future?

Ah, I remember the scene where he brings it up, didn't put two and two together. Thanks guys.

So does this means the same shit is going to happen to Laura. Sad.

Maybe, she has less of it though.

I must have missed the scene about poisoned food and drink suppressing muties.

Someone mentioned that when he checks her record in the hotel you can see her expected life span

If he was eating the same rations as the rest of the kids in the hospital, how did he get so fat?

If it's like the comics Laura only has adamantium in her claws not a full body job like he underwent, so she has less toxicity to deal with, besides immortality's overrated

You gon' get blasted

The black family scenes were pretty sad honestly, he was just trying to help them then the black dad gets to watch his entire family die.

Senile Professor X was really well done, I wonder how Patrick felt acting in that role after having the character for so long

He ate soul food mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmhmmm

Then why the FUCK are you playing internet tough guy? Congratulations, I couldn't give less of a fuck what your race is because I totally believe you could push over a lil' niglett.

Damned if I know why you think that's impressive, unless azns are even weedier than I know.

>besides immortality's overrated
t. Logan

logan knew what was coming which is why he wanted to GTFO asap, but professor x had other ideas

when did logan find out about his real name btw

>talkback

Doc was talking about it in the scene right before the final fight. Got cut off by his head exploding tho.

Knowing him? Assuming Xavier didn't GIVE TO YA'd him with the others, probably doing contract work somewhere else in the world and not giving a fuck about his race's extinction.

Acting catharsis, probably. Pretty sure he said an interview he was ready to step down from the role because he thought it was the perfect ending to his Professor X.

I was talking about X but yeah. Also the scene in the farm house when he sees Laura chained up but goes upstairs for X instead, really showed the bond between the two characters

I think my cinema's mixing was fucked. The dialogue was hard to hear at times and everything else was too loud.

I think it might be more prevalent than your cinema. Doc's mumbling was a little fucked in my showing too so I had to strain to figure out his lines, and I'm not even watching in murrica.

Who was that blockhead looking fella who got jobbed out by Laura at Logan's hideout? Was there any more to him or was he just another goon?

just one of Pierce's Reavers.

Anyone like that creepy piano chase music a lot? Really stood out.

Just another goon I think? Other than doc, Donald and X-24 pretty much everyone Transigen employed seemed to be a mook of some sort.

Also I know the "it's one possible future, not necessarily THE exact timeline" might apply, but considering Transigen was a spinoff of Strucker's conspiracy I'm a bit surprised X-24 is pretty shittier compared to the research that resulted in Weapon 11.

Not that I mind, though. Just saying, the tech seems to have backslid by a fuckton.

Most of the movie was meh. When they got to Eden it went from meh to puke-inducing.

They never showed Caliban tracking anything, btw.

>creepy piano chase music

Good taste!

Care to explain why?

Don't see what's wrong with that, unless you find weird albinos sniffing at stuff entertaining somehow. The scenes with him made it pretty clear they're torturing him to get the job done, not sure what you'd rather see.

I'm just saying no one rolls out the red carpet for me but then they call this kid bad ass and I can't stand it. I would be more bad ass in the movie then him.

The movie tells more than it shows, by a LOT. Caliban never showing his mutant powers was one of the most jarring examples.

By the way, when they were escaping the scrapyard, did you notice the CGI X-23 when she jumped on the limo to enter through the roof? Shit was so bad, looked like they left it unfinished

You realize that 2 of your negatives are that the movie just wasn't what you would have done, right.
"I expected Sabertooth to be the villain. He wasn't, so the movie was bad."
"I didn't like that the movie was about Logan saving kids, so it's a bad movie."

Fair enough. Personally I didn't mind since the main plot's largely focused on Logan: Fury Road so to me that stuff mainly exists to drive home how desperate his situation is. I'll admit I didn't even know Caliban was anything other than a weird albino until Donald decided not to kill him for some reason, though.

>CGI

At this point I'm kind of jaded by bad CGI in the X-Men movies in general, so I just appreciate that stuff's a lot less prevalent in this one than its' predecessors.

In hindsight Sabertooth's life is almost as JUST'd as Logan's.

>only bro walks off the battlefield because reasons
>join paramilitary organization to take him down for the promise of adamantium bones
>traitor bro gets adamantium first, kicks my ass twice
>won't even kill me
>fuck off to do absolutely nothing after we reconcile
>come back years later and he doesn't even recognise me before beating my ass again
>Magneto doesn't even bother finding me again for any of the sequels

It all comes together

A couple things that I was surprised we didn't see:
The kids finding Cable in an after-credit scene.
Finding out that the douchy doctor really worked for Essex Corp., and he was Mr Sinister.
Bonebreaker as a half-tank man.

>expecting any of that shit

you played yourself beautifully

I'm not disappointed that it wasn't there. They just seem like they'd fit in the movie

>Hotel sequence when charles was saying sorry
>the entire farm sequence
>"it wasn't me"
>charles singing before his last breath
>logan in front of the grave
>forest sequence
>"Daddy"
>"So this is how it feels like"

>Laura turns the cross on his grave into an X
>"Logan"
>The Man Comes Around starts playing
I couldn't hold it back at that point.

Did anyone else find this movie really fucking violent beyond all reason?

I seriously thought I was going to throw up it was that bad.

Who is this violence marketed to?

Anyone else find it weird hearing Steve's voice outside XFM and podcasts?

So you are saying that you didn't like Deadpool?
