If you pretend Rocky V never happened no.

No.
Each episode is pure kino.

Rocky V was better than Balboa (VI)

IV and Creed and Rocky 1 are the best

I find the opposite. Balboa had a nice closure.

6 is MUCH better than 5

>Creed that low, Rocky Balboa not on top
brainlet detected

Honestly thought IV was the weakest, only Drago, Creed's death and the training montage salvage the film

>Drago, Creed's death and the training montage

But that's like 90% of the film

The "my ring's outside" scene with the nostalgic music and flashbacks in V was much better than the boring fight at the end of VI.

>consistant in quality
>Rocky 5 exists

The montages are literally kino though

Yeah I don't get the hype with 4. Maybe it's just retards on Sup Forums.

Creed is fanfic bullshit with le snarky hip hop negro as a lead.

It was the world during the Cold War. US vs USRR and the action cheesiness of 80s action flicks. It's one of the best movies ever made because it excelled all those aspects and Rocky is the ideal of the american guy who keeps on fighting no matter what.

Best order:

Rocky 1
Rocky 2
Rocky 3
Creed
Rocky 5
Rocky Balboa
Rocky 4

The overall quality of the franchise is high

One bad film doesnt ruin all of them

That's the only good part. The whole story of V makes no sense at all.

I don't think you know what consistent means, like the actual definition of the word.

Two orders

>Best films

1, 6, 2, Creed, 3, 4, 5

>Most fun

4, 3, 6, 1, 2, Creed, 5

I dont think you do

1 bad film out of 7 means the serious is consistantly good

Series* not serious

I find that 1 and 2 make one bigger movie since it's the same "villain" and back story.

Then your ignorance of film is the problem here since there are series without any outliers.

Name me a series with 7+ films that has no bad ones

Fast and Furious. All of them are bad ones.

>no bad ones

You're looking at it wrong. Consistency means little deviation from the average; series where everything is equally bad, equally mediocre, etc. are still consistent as heck.

>You're looking at it wrong

i think you are m8

I'm looking at it using the definition of the word. That makes me technically correct, the best kind of correct. Franchises like Underworld, Resident Evil, and a handful of Horror franchises are all more consistent since all the films feel the exact same and are equally underwhelming.

Star Trek (Original Series)
