I'm planning a vacation to Europe, and I unfortunately can't visit every country. From these countries, which should I visit? They're all equivalent right?

Iceland

iceland, i was there like 2 months ago and it is amazing

Belgium, because it's marginally in the pic and I wanted to reply with a meme.

Iceland + Norway

Iceland and Norway.

Why so much Iceland? I was expecting lots of Denmark/Norway/Sweden, not some island with no history and less people than my city

...

Norway and Norway

Europe is all the same, just pick a country at random

>No history

Sweden if you want to see multiple moose(s) in the wild

Cum to Sweden

>can't visit every country
>narows it down to the expensive ones
great job innit

>some island with no history
>
Well, don't fucking go, then. Case closed and tossed out the window.

s-sorry

Stockholm, Helsinki and Tallinn.

Depends on what you're looking for. Visit Sweden or Denmark if you're more interested in what can be found in cities, like museums, historical buildings, shopping, cafés, restaurants. Visit Norway or Iceland if you're more interested in nature and the outdoors. As far as I know Norway is more expensive than all the other nordic countries, if that's something you want to take into account.

I know fuck all about Finland, so I can't give a recommendation there

thanks
well, i was wondering if anybody had a more detailed defense of iceland. I'm visiting other countries too, I just wanted to visit something to "represent" northern europe

Well Finland is a bit different than the other nordicks. But if you're in the area it's not hard to go each country
Iceland is different, you have to fly.

go to norway then eat their soft serve ice cream

>i was wondering if anybody had a more detailed defense of iceland
Maybe these videos could be useful, they'll tell you a bit about Iceland: youtube.com/watch?v=ocE9DNZxPUk
youtube.com/watch?v=Lh_U7NqWEv8

Hello softserveanon, nice to meet you again

>I just wanted to visit something to "represent" northern europe
You can visit every country, What's the problem? Lakes in Finland, Fjords in Norway. Mountains in Sweden. And the Legoland in Denmark. You should rent a car.
It's just Iceland is harder to get to.

Iceland, one of the Scandis and Finland. Not Helshitskin or other cities though, Finland is only good for nature stuff.

>Going to nordic countries during winter.
Do you hate seeing sunlight?

During winter is when the tourists come

>I just wanted to visit something to "represent" northern europe
Norway is the cunt with all the fjords and where most of the mountains are located if that's what you're after. Sweden is kinda like Norway but a bit flatter, like Finland. Denmark is extremely flat but they got very cosy towns.

hello, likewise

compared to the us it is

>Sweden is kinda like Norway but a bit flatter
A lot blacker too

>I just wanted to visit something to "represent" northern europe

Honestly, not really, but Sweden can't control their nignog problem like Norway can.

How does Norway control it?

>well, i was wondering if anybody had a more detailed defense of iceland. I'm visiting other countries too, I just wanted to visit something to "represent" northern europe

D*nmark Sweden Finland and Norway all look essentially the same, they are on the same peninsula and have the same species of trees and animals and the same building style. The only real difference in Scandinavia is elevation, Norway is mountainous and D*nmark is flat.

Iceland however is radically different from any of those countries and unique naturally, geologically, no country looks like it.

So essentially you can visit any Scandinavian country and then visit Iceland and see a radical, complete difference or just visit Scandinavian countries and get essentially tiny local variations in everything.

Also Iceland and perhaps (only perhaps) D*nmark are the only Nordic countries where you will make friends

It's not as bad as you'd think. High winter still gives us sunlight between like 8-9 in the morning to like 3-4 in the afternoon.
Peak sunlight might not be that bright, however, but it's there.

Stickholm in Sweden is the most beautiful city. And if you visit Malmö in Sweden you can go to
Copenhagen in Denmark over the bridge so you can visit 2 countries in no time

Tell us your budget and how long are you gonna stay, faggot.

But I'd go with Norway and Iceland, maybe Swedish/Finnish lapland, but that would be better in wintertime or mid-september.

Denmark has no nature, and I'd probably choose Stockholm or Oslo over Copenhagen.

Making an effort to integrate them, not taking in more than we can handle at the same time, and keeping problem neighborhoods in check.

I got quads
Finland-Norway-Sweden border

>D*nmark Sweden Finland and Norway all look essentially the same
Hvað áttu við með þessu?

Still not enough, I suffered that when I visited Scotland and it's depressing as fuck

> doubles and quadruples

It's settled, burger must go there and plant the American flag.

>I'd probably choose Stockholm [...] over Copenhagen
Fuck no, you can't be serious. I've been to both and Stockholm is just endless stress and an obnoxious atmosphere. If you're not like them, you can really feel the vibe of not belonging there.
Copenhagen on the other hand seems to have a more "we don't give a shit" approach to non-copenhageners, which makes it endlessly comfier by default.
You really need to be big city rat with a liking set towards gray concrete and mass commotion to prefer Stockholm over Copenhagen.

Can't speak for Oslo, though.

A weekish, and it's just me so $1500 not counting travel. It's really flexible though

Rent a car and drive around. Much better than staying at one place.

>depressing
I call it comfy. Summers are stressful because it is so bright and everyone is outside etc, whereas the winter is Comfy mode: The season where you can relax a bit.

we're full go sweden or norway

It depends on what you're looking for. If you want to see nature, Norway is best. If you want to see culture, Denmark.

Finland is least full.

>Can't speak for Oslo, though.
Would be a nice place were it not for all the fucking gypsies

Gypsy genocide when?

>If you want to see culture, Denmark.
you can't be serious, denmark is the most culturally dead country in the world.

shhhh we are full go sweden it's better there

>Pic related

>er svona 70% af þeim fyrir utan borgir og bæi
Ekkert athugavert við það.

I didn't say I would move to Stockholm or anything, ever.
But I have to take my words back a bit, Danes really know their hygge, and Copenhagen is pretty chill and nice city.

Copenhagen = Stockholm > Oslo = Helsinki

Reykjavik is a nice town.

>Would be a nice place were it not for all the fucking gypsies
We have that problem as well, even in tiny shitholes with like the minimum population required to legally call it a town.

Why is Norway just a nature country? Nothing interesting in Oslo?

oslo was a mistake and that's all you need to know.

Bergen or Stavanger are better than Oslo

I said from the beginning if something more different then Iceland.
Actually the flights aren't that expensive. Just the hotels are :DDD
But I'd like to see the actual Iceland not just capital. I always typo it

Can you go camping with a tent in iceland?

DESU I would rather visit central Europe if you're into history. Lot more physical stuff (because of stone buildings etc). Norway has some nice museums and ofc nice cities, but you would have to travel out in the wilderness to really appreciate Norway, and that's expensive.

It's much easier to just fly to Prague/Kraków and eat/drink cheap and have most historical sites etc right outsidre your hotel.

Plenty of stuff to do in Oslo, but Norway being a nature country = driving hours and hours to find some spots, in Iceland its just there, lived in Norway for years, nature isn't visible really from where you actually live and stay it's just farms like pic related snd thick forests unless you go wayyyyyy north or west and outside of the way

I'd rather go full offroad than Bergen or Stavanger, why those places, if I dare ask?

If you visit Copenhagen you can also take the metro to Malmö, the 3rd biggest city in Sweden

There is. Royal Palace, the central campus of the university of Oslo, opera building, Victoria Terrace, National Gallery, Vigeland sculpture park, Astrup Fearnly museum of modern art, Nobel peace center, etc.

It's just that nature is generally more interesting than the cities.

>Malmö

>Driving hours to finde some spots
This is not true. You could litterally walk out your door and up on the mountains if you live in Bergen for example.
Oslo is in the lowlands (smaller mountains, a lot more agricultural areas) but you could still go right into "marka" if you want. Even though that's basically a park.

Icelandic nature is just a tundra with the occasional waterfall

Visit Sweden or Denmark if you want to visit citites, visit Norway or Iceland if you want to see nature.

If we're talking biome then yes, but Iceland has a ton of natural anomalies that are interesting to experience.

> (You)
>I said from the beginning if something more different then Iceland.
>Actually the flights aren't that expensive. Just the hotels are :DDD

Yeah hotels are expensive af but we are a luxury location these days lol

>But I'd like to see the actual Iceland not just capital. I always typo it

No one should stay in Reykjavík only, that's retarded, it's a small town comparatively

>Can you go camping with a tent in iceland?

Yes and I would recommend that you do this. Fuck tours. Rent a car for like 2 weeks or bring yours over via ferry from Denmark, drive around the ring road with a tent and camp in the campsites in towns. Every single town and village has a campsite even in the tiniest itsy bitsy 50 people villages. Just stop the car regularly and explore shen you see something interesting like a waterfall volcano glacier whatever, you will see something that you want to check out 100% guaranteed

Sounds like 70% of Norway, only with some spruce, birch and pine.

Are tourists really a problem in Iceland? I've seen plenty of news stories about how they fuck up the nature, litter and shit everywere.

Renting a car for a period of time is a good way to see Norway too, but I'd recommend taking the train. You see so much of the different nature here that way, especially if you also explore the coast a little, go on the ferries etc.

You should visit Finland, I was there a couple of months ago and I really enjoyed it.

what is here to enjoy?

That's what I thought. I think renting a car is easier :D
I was just thinking if there were gas stations near :DD

Authentic juusto ja meetvursti

I guess I cant argue with that

Why would you go to the most expensive part of Europe? Go to like Croatia or Portugal or some shit. It's cheaper and there's still plenty of history to see.

I have to agree with Jorge here..

But Oslo is nice with its christmas marked and ice skating in the city

Finland is the X Games country of the Nordics. Other nordics are about the hygge, i.e. chilling at home and socialising through that, which is nice too. Finns are about rallying, motocross, enduro, snocross, hunting, military patrol skiing, ice hockey, water skiing, etc. The problem is that you need to know Finns to get in on this because these are done on private lands and you need guys who know guys.

There are few places which offer rallying for money but to get in on the Finnish activities you have to know people. You should know your local "duudsons" to be baptised to the Finnish leisure activities.

youtube.com/watch?v=9spktzI-YxA

>Why is Norway just a nature country? Nothing interesting in Oslo?

it's just a meme, go for Bergen if you want scenery and history. Brits and dutch fought a war there, germans did trading there and the portuguese got their cod from that place back in the old days youtube.com/watch?v=_CZL9Op5aHc

Bergen is nice, but it's just a small town with nothing special to do except for hiking and maybe seafood. Overrated, nice town. Would live there, but dunno what is has to offer for tourists.

>chilling at home and socialising through that, which is nice too.
I am that guy
What you just said needs something in advance. It's not really tourist friendly.
It should tho. Untapped markets. just need a jew

>it's just a small town
>would be Finland's second largest city if it was located in Finland

well finnish "cities" indeed are towns

If you don't want to see third world monkeys everywhere, you should avoid: Belgium, France, Switzerland, Germany, UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Spain and you'll be good. Those are the cucked countries. And you should visit Hungary.

>Norwegian tellin you about urban areas

Bergen bagge spotted. It still doesn't make it even remotely urban place with cool clubs with cool nightlife or anything. It's just a large inhabited are in the mids of fjords.

Cool outdoors though.

Bergen is shit, and the people who love it are brain dead.

start at denmark, see copenhagen, go to göteborg, then to a fjord, there are better ones than oslo

you are missing europe though and youll be upset how expensive they are

I would say the same thing goes for most nordic cities (including Oslo). It's not real cities, They were only small towns until 100 years ago.

>It still doesn't make it even remotely urban place with cool clubs with cool nightlife or anything

It doesn't have the variety of clubs like Oslo, Copenhagen etc.

But I bet most finns would like to chill out with these lads anyway youtube.com/watch?v=zjDJBcTFbLU

Helsinki is very nice

Just avoid the eastern part (infested with 3rd world immigrants)

Too bad the central has nig nogs too
500m from that Helsinki is nice

>driving hours and hours to find some spots

Maybe because you lived in eastern Norway?

Was in iceland last month, it was awesome and i really recommend it. But it was expensive as fuck. I'm swedish and telling you that.
If you could, i would also recommend hiring a car in northern Norway and drive to the Swedish border and if there is time, drive all the way to "Treriksröset". Saw atleast one other recommend that place. Its the place where three nordic countries meet. I was there during the summer of 2012 and it started snowing, so get prepared for cold weathers!
Also, the nature in Norway, especially northern Norway is amazing!

sweden is unironically the best one to visit
t.knower

its not that bad you cunt
