do you think his level of autism is worth the films his made? Do you think he's happy in life?
The only part of the body he's interested in are feet.
James fucking Cameron
Nolan.
Of course, he may fuck it up with Dunkirk, but I'll save my reservations.
Hack
michael bay
Snyder
Coens
Cuaron
Yes
No
...
Martin Scorsese, you underage fuck.
refn and cameron were the correct responses though
But Tarantino's best movies are more than 20 years old.
But it's been more than 20 years since t2 user
Who?
The fag that made that Elle fanning movie last year?
You can't be serious
So now we're just naming whatever director comes to mind
Cool this thread is shit already.
Never change Sup Forums
He already fucked it up with TDKR and Interstellar.
Haneke
PT Anderson, Malik and Iñarritu.
ANd Im a huge tarantula fanboy, but there's def. better directors right now.
Scorsese
>Do you think he's happy in life?
Someone post the webm of him dancing like an oblivious retard on a red carpet.
max landis
derek cianfrance
Ridley Scott
Paul Thomas Anderson. Even Tarantino admits it himself.
The question wasn't "Which director hasn't made a good movie in 20 years?".
But if it was, you'd be spot on.
lemme save some time and name the whole lsit of worse ones instead:
>uwe boll
done, and in well under 14 seconds
David Ayer.
He's unironically a bigot.
His films are all made for bigots.
-Heart
-Patriot
-Passion
-Apocalypto
-Gringo
-Ridge
Bigotry abounds.
Verhoeven, Cronenberg, maybe Fincher, Del Toro
lol
Not even kidding
and that makes him not good how?
Why is he always wearing the same sunglasses, even at night?
>Verhoeven
>Cronenberg
He said the last 20 years
*Licks feet
Starship Troopers/Black Book/Elle
eXistenZ/A History of Violence/Eastern Promises/Cosmopolis/Maps to the Stars
All objectively better than anything Tarantino has done in the past 2 decades.
anyone
>look how cool every character is
correct
Mel Gibson
George Miller

Late Cronenberg is weak, but still better than late Totino's
>D. Lynch is an exponentially better filmmaker than Q. Tarantino. For, unlike Tarantino, D. Lynch knows that an act of violence in an American film has, through repetition and desensitization, lost the ability to refer to anything but itself. This is why violence in Lynch's films, grotesque and coldly stylized and symbolically heavy as it may be, is qualitatively different from Hollywood's or even anti-Hollywood's hip cartoon-violence. Lynch's violence always tries to mean something. Quentin Tarantino is interested in watching somebody's ear getting cut off; David Lynch is interested in the ear.
This better not be Armond White, because I fucking swear

you two must be meming. what has lynch put out in the last twenty years? 2, maybe 3 movies that i can think of off the top of my head
Mulholland Dr
Inland Empire
Lost Highway
vs
The Hateful Eight
Django Unchained
Kill Bill
Resevoir Dogs
Inglourious Basterds
Jackie Brown
Pulp Fiction
chazelle
/thread
Alexander Payne
David Foster Wallace
Any of those movies on there own are better than Tarantino's entire filmography. Tarantino is good at what he does, but between him and Lynch, there's genuinely no comparison.
>not wearing sunglasses at night
fucking virgin
>Nolan above any of the people he's listed above
Disgusting.
its a matter of preference. not everybody goes to the movies and wants to see some artsy surreal film that takes 2 or 3 viewings to understand. Tarantino had produced far more kino than lynch and he has been consistently doing it. Lost highway was not that good, and I would rank every film I just listed above it.
literally anyone with one good film. tarantino is a joke.
Michael Bay, not even memeing sarcastically
kek, nice one
Jordan Peele
You said it only because he's too popular and plebeian. I don't like him either after Interstellar, but you must agree Memento and The Prestige was kino, and The Dark Knight is almost a historically impactful movie. Also Inception was among the greatest and most original action movies of latest years. I still don't like Nonal for not having a style and ripping off from other movies, but what is right is right, he deserves his what... 15th spot.
No, I said it because all his movies are mediocre to terrible, and most of their redeeming qualities have nothing to do with his incredibly limited skills as a director. He has barely any grasp of cinematic language, and to see him ranked above Scorcese or Bela Tarr is insulting.
Dude, well, I'm not arguing, because I'm a big fan of Béla Tarr too.
Denis Villeneuve
Like, obviously. The director has literally only made masterpieces.
>watch it film school
