Good. 9 spots is way too much.

The "mediocre teams everyone pretends are still big" final
At least this final was much better that the copalib one

I hope the olimpia poster send some from Arena Capiata
i am a cerro lifelong
Reminder that whatever is the sudamericana final result, we win.
Should Sudamericana have a Group Stage?
I dont think there are enough teams for that, unless you want the 12th ranked team of the Bolivianao in or something
it would be twice as boring
mata-mata is the most entertaining
>Plaza Colonia, Chacarita, Guayaquil City and Comerciantes Unidos in the same group
I think the current format is ok for the sudaca
I meant Group Stage instead of the First Stage, keeping the 10 teams from Libertadores.
It would be 11 groups of 4 teams, from which 22 qualify + 10 from Libertadores = Ro32.
For the exact same amount of participating/eliminated teams it would increase the amount of matches from 44 to la modica cantidad of 132. Perfectly logical
>11 groups of 4 teams
wew
is this typical for these leagues, stadiums dont sell out unless its a big game? but if its against 3 de enero and 9 de abril no one gets excited
Lucas Pratinho confirmed to Riber for 2018 /copalib/
It is, don't fall for the southamerican passion meme
Argentine media is saying Falcao is joining River kek
I serially hope you are not implying that's something bad
A sellout could also happen if the team is on a good run (X matches won in a row, team is at the top of standings). Also, if by winning against 3 de enero, said team clinches something (a Libertadores berth, a place in the finals/playoffs/whatever).
But as a general rule, only big teams manage to get sellouts for their matches.
If Pinola gets his shit together River will walk the next Libertadores
The source is that is Colombian media, but yeah, I don't see that happening
>falcao
kek
also every player in that defense is utter shit
Saracchi, Moreira and Martínez Quarta are good
not really
did you realize that since 7 doping cases were confirmed River stopped being the best football team in history ever and Gallardo stopped being the literally GOAT?

NO UNIQUE FINAL !!!!!!!!!1
The other I read that Gallardo was the manager with the most finals played in River history with 10. Then i looked it up, and they were literally and unironically counting two legged finals as 2 finals.
There's some serious agenda for making Gallardo look better than he is, which is kind of insulting River history.
Guess what, due to issues with TV rights’s money, the last matches of our tournament (perhaps even the finals) won’t be televised at all.
>be 2013
>federation declares that all teams tv rights belong to FEF, forces teams to break all previous tv contracts
>sells all tv rights to state channels
>state channels sell cable tv rights to Directv, but the money still goes through them (Directv -> state channels -> fef)
>be 2016
>high public debt thanks to the socialist government, state channels aren’t an exception
>near bankruptcy, can no longer pay shit to FEF, thus clubs don’t get shit at all
>state channels outsource all tv transmissions to three private cable companies, but the money still goes through them before going to FEF
>be 2017
>lol the money that the cable companies gave to the state channels never reached FEF
>FEF blocks state channels tv rights, thus indirectly blocking the cable companies from transmitting matches
>nobody gets to watch footy
And all of this on the eve of Paco Casal getting his hands on our tournaments starting next year.
Not even necessary considering that even without that, he did really well with the team, and just a few years prior to him coming over they were in the B Nacional.
wtf I hate Correa now
so the private outsmarted the public, how southamerican is that
> not having regularly scheduled which matches will actually BE broadcasted
Lmao what are you some kind of first worlder?
> 13-15 international spots
> 4 relegations
If it wasn't for the bullshit estaduales, they should seriously consider the idea of expanding the league. Nothing autist like 30-40, 22 or 24 should enough
Lads... LADS
Down here it's super typical, the so called 'passion' is a meme. Here, the only two teams who can sell more than 10.000 tickets average are Cerro, Olimpia and maaaaaaybe Luqueño, but only if their fighting the title.
Maybe after the WC. He said he really wants to come back to River.
Sell Fernandez and get Montoya. I'm tired of the Nacho as a winger meme.
What is the biggest Argentine team nowadays? What is their Bayern, Real Madrid, Flamengo, PSG, etc?
Independient, Boca or River?
i get the feeling guarani also has a lot of followers but for some reason they don't go to the cancha, bobos

Can we win the treble next year?
Libertadores, Brazilian Cup, Brazilian Championship
So what exactly is Conmebol criteria for Libetadores spots?
Uruguai, Chile and Colombia having the same number of spots of Ecuador, Venezuela and Bolivia is a joke. The latter 3 should lose 1 spot each.
Hey, fuck you, macaco. If someone should lose a spot is Peru instead of us.
Ecuador does better than Chile desu
>by championships/2nd places:
Argentina (24/10) > Brazil (18/15) > Uruguay (8/8) > Colombia (3/7) > Paraguay (3/5) > Chile (1/5) > Ecuador (1/3) > Peru (0/2) > Bolivia and Venezuela (0/0)
>by teams in the all-time top 30
Brazil (8) > Argentina (5) > Ecuador (4) > Colombia and Chile (3) > Uruguay, Paraguay and Peru (2) > Bolivia (1) > Venezuela (0)
>by results in the last 20 years (after Ro16)
Brazil (9W - 8F - 10SF - 23QF)
Argentina (7W - 3F - 10SF - 20QF)
Colombia (2W - 1F - 4SF - 5QF)
Paraguay (1W - 2F - 5SF - 3QF)
Ecuador (1W - 2F - 1SF - 2QF)
Uruguay (1F - 2SF - 8QF)
Chile (2SF - 2QF)
Bolivia (1SF - 3QF)
Venezuela (3QF)
Peru (1QF)
If anything, we don't get rated enough.
> Argentina and Brasil are completely arbitrary.
> Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela all get the lowest pack.
> for some reason Colombia and Chile get two Second Stage teams.
The criteria is literally popularity, it being co-related to population.

>And all of this on the eve of Paco Casal getting his hands on our tournaments starting next year.
You're fucked.
Just a reminder that we haven't won a single Libertadores since Paco got his hands on Uruguayan football.
Uruguayan football makes 60 millions a year(marketing, ads and stuff like that not counted which means there's much more) and the clubs get 10 to divide between themselves, everything else goes to Paco

I'm glad Gordomildo did all he could to put an end on these memes to the point of Grêmio actually winning the Fair Play award from CBF lmao.
Having balls doesn't mean kicking everyone. We won the fair play award in some of the past Copa Americas and we still played strong football
tough football is not the same as murderball, which brazilians like Botafogo this year also do but pretend they don't

I meant that the administrations that came after Grêmio's second relegation used these terms to sell murderball to the fans as the winning formula.
So, apparently, shit got solved and there’ll be footy on tv this weekend.

Millonarios also secured a spot for copalib.
Bolivar choked and Bolivianao is still alive
quick autismo update
after today's victory MILLONARIOS has sealed their pre-Libertadores spot, but just like Colo Colo, they still have solid chances for the title (and therefore, a Group Stage spot).
