I'm surrounded unfortunately. I live on the westside of Houston (Pic related racial map, red is white, blue black). There is a nigger ghetto in basically every direction from my apartment. If they go full chimp, I will likely be in the thick of it.
Most niggers are dumb chimps true, but there are also a lot of gangs here. I'm not worried about their training so much as their numbers. One good thing is I live on a 4th floor apartment. Worst comes to worse I can go to the roof where I can see things coming from all sides and there is only one entrance to the roof.
I don't want one at all.
But I am also not blind to events. Look at what is happening in this country. 8 years ago a race war was literally unthinkable in this country. Now it's unlikely (imo), but much more plausible than just a few years ago. I can actually envision scenarios where it could happen now.
That's scary to me. Things have changed very fast. I don't want it to happen, but I want to be prepared if it does.
Depends on your location
If you live in the city you need to do one of two things
Get the fuck out of the city to a safe place
If you can't or have no place to go
Join with other whites and make your location a stronghold, due to the high amount of minorities in cities this option is the hardest. They will be gunning for whites specifically even more so if you have women. Use everything you have to barricade the entrances to your location. Stockpiling food, weapons and ammo is a must. Make sure you have clear fields of fire. If a window or door doesn't then just close it off completely. Most minorities won't have the stomach to actively shoot it out with you so if you can wound/kill early on do it. The sight of wounded/dead will deter others from coming to your location.
People outside the city and in rural areas will have it easier. Their main concern will be keeping roaming bands of minorities out of their area. Patrols are a must.

I live in the wealthy, white part of Houston. There are black ghettos in every direction from where I live.
I think I'll be somewhat secure. I live on the top floor of a mid-tier gated apartment complex. There are people who are much richer than me pretty much all around me who'd make juicier and easier targets.
My current disaster plan is to head to the roof. There is only one way to get up there. It has concrete barriers on the perimeter and good visibility from every direction. I also have the bayou to my direct south which makes attack from that direction pretty unlikely. If they come they are probably going to come from the Southeast or Northeast. I have pretty good visibility in those directions but they could use the heavily wooded park as cover and I probably would see them until they were within 50 yards or so. I've got decent amount of food and water.
My real issue right now is ammo. I have about 500 rounds for my Mosin, but I'm not too practiced with it and it only has iron sights. I have 100 rounds for my 9mm pistol, I am very practiced with that. My favorite gun and the one I'm best with is my scoped 30-06. Problem is I only have about 30 rounds atm. For Close quarters I have about 50 shells for my over under 12 gauge.
I also live with a roommate who has a .45 pistol and and a .223 AR, but he doesn't have much ammo for either. Just a couple of mags for each.

I'm kicking myself for not having more 30-06 right now.
The only rifle round I have in any quantity right now is 7.62x54R for my Mosin. The problem is I've only shot the thing like 3 times and it has iron sights. I definitely have an elevated firing position though.

2)maintaining security-thick parameter with armed guards on all walls 24/7, general safety/preparedness drill, exercise training in hand to hand combat, weaponry.
Battle plan- pick a quadrant of the city, make a circle around it with your army slowly closing in, have alpha teams ready to break formation to go full rambo

Your location sounds great, very easily secured with great fields of fire. I would try and get more ammo but as i posted before, I don't think mobs are going to respond well from even bolt action rifle fire as long as it is somewhat accurate. Most likely 5-10 shots that land a couple hits are going to scatter them and the sight of the wounded/dead will keep most away from your area unless they were determined to find you.
Food supply will be important. We don't know how long an event like this would last. Enlisting as much help as possible from your community would also help

If your area is very open I would get a battle rifle in 7.62 NATO. If your area is very urban with not much open space a 5.56 would be optimal for a new rifleman.
