Why are guns so cheap in US?

Why are guns so cheap in US?
>inb4 muh african black market

Everything here is cheap compared to other first world countries.

Supply and demand law

>1500 for a semi-auto rifle
That's not cheap.

why would guns be expensive? not a lot of tech goes on in there, just a piece of metal with movable parts inside while bullet does all the work, simpler than a chainsaw or lawnmower

food is cheap because cheap petrol and subsidised corn industry, plus illegals

>$200 for a handgun
a shitty one maybe

All american guns are shitty.

Here in Sweden you can get a pump action shotgun or a normal bolt action rifle for around 500 dollars.
My .308 bolt cost me something like that.
You can even buy a double barrel Husqvarna shotgun for like 150 dollars.

we do have access to foreign firearms you know

>US gun
>not a shitty one

I thought Husqvarna just made lawnmowers and shit.

>1500 for carbine and 200$ for pistol
>Foreign

Earnest Hemingway killed himself with a shotgun from Abercrombie & Fitch

Husqvarna has been making guns since the 1600's.
They were the main supplier for the Swedish army for over 200 years.
The "lawnmower and shit" is just the newest branch of things they make.
>pic related, they have done it all from shotguns and handguns to rifles and machine guns
In Sweden alone there is nearly 1.2 million Husqvarna shotguns in circulation.

Husqvarna started as a rifle manufacturer in like the late 1600s. The logotype is from when they made muskets. It's looking down the sights.

handguns are more like $500+, imported or not
you can get an sks for much less than $1500

Do they not make them anymore?

No they sold the gun factories to FFV in the 1970's to invest in other things.
But they did manufacture high class shotguns up until 1989.

Still thousands and thousands of their weapons around though here in Sweden.
Every cabin, farmer and hunter has one pretty much.

Interesting factoid desu. Shame they stopped.

Yep.
>my old girl (1898) , still works like new

That's awesome

Is your gun that PUBG shotgun with 5 bullets?
I personally prefer S12K or S686 over S1898 tho

>PUBG shotgun with 5 bullets?
Haha no, it's a normal 12 gauge double barrel (two barrels, 2 shells)

Man I miss my AR15. Need to go back to NZ soon

I would buy a rifle 2bh.

What are the NZ laws like for an AR? We can have them here but using them is highly regulated. Basically only at a range and can only be in your car between your home and the range. We can't hunt with them which is a shame since they are one of the best platforms for coyote.

this

i got a brand new ar-15 carbine for 400

guns are not that expensive to produce, most governments however pour on so much red tape and regulations, taxes and bans that the end product is bloated in price

that is not a carbine

also the cheaper handguns and most expensive ones are both usually foreign, american handguns are typically middling. also how can you say american guns are shit when we have colt and browning

You need the E class licence and the ol' referrals/police check off and then you can do whatever the fuck you want with it. NZ has very sensible and effective gun laws. Honestly the world should follow their example

If I was murrican I would probably own a gun considering how easy it is desu

just one?

Windham? I have seen their AR's for very cheap at an American Walmart.

Guns are cheap in the US because their lives are worthless.

>pair of pants, like those which Paddock was wearing
Everything is cheap here.

>gorea

cant be more worthless than a melbournite

>other first world countries

>1911
>shitty

even a cuck German like me can buy a Steyr 50cal if he really wants

wut

>AR-15
>$1500
You can build one for ~$500

>Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary.
Mikhail Bakunin, the Founding Father of the United States of America, wrote this on the constitution because he was a pro-gun national socialist.

Because they're legal and not heavily regulated. Getting a gun here legally takes a lot of paperwork, time, and even then civilians are only allowed to get small calibers and non automatic guns. So that's when criminals go to the black market, and that's where it gets expensive, since they have to go to lengths to avoid or bribe the authority.
