Sup Forums needs to show off their Kinostations

What do you watch your kino on, Sup Forums?

I use this with my 55 inch screen. Plays all my torrents perfectly as well as my gf's Netflix account.

Has anyone tried a VR movie theater.

Seems light it might be cozy if it works.

> Install Kodi from Google Play or Cydia
> Install AGKFire or Apps2Fire (I prefer Apps2Fire, though AGK works too)
> Get your Fire TV Stick’s IP address,
> Add address to Apps2Fire under “SETUP”
> Go to the LOCAL APPS tab of Apps2Fire
> Find Kodi
> Press Kodi, then press INSTALL.
> Kodi will sideload to your Fire TV Stick.
> Find Kodi in your Fire TV Stick’s Apps list and launch it
> Install TV Addons
> Secure your streaming connection and have fun

>have Synology NAS with 8TB
>torrent to it from private trackers
>it's connected to my router via ethernet
>FireTV with Kodi connects to NAS with NFS
>I stream everything I torrent with just a remote
>my entire collection of movies and TV shows is just a click away while it seeds to my private tracker bros

I feel sorry for people who have to put movies on a flash drive to watch it on their TV.

Kinda feel bad for you tbqh. You sure you don't wanna upgrade to a larger PC or a 32 in.+ TV with a PS4 or a streaming device?

>goes through a million steps to avoid plugging in his hdmi cable

I've given up on wants long ago, but thank you

>plugging in an HDMI cable when you can just grab your remote and play your entire torrent collection on your tv.

You are retarded.

I downloaded a few trailers and tried watching them using a gearVR. It's a neat toy but I don't see myself ever watching a full movie using it.

The coolest thing I thought was how in a "dim" theater you'd still have the screen lighting up the chairs in front of you.

I can play my entire torrent collection via hdmi, and didn't go through a million steps to do it.

>I can play my entire torrent collection via hdmi, and didn't go through a million steps to do it.

You plugged in a cable. You take more steps than I do. I just grab my remote and navigate to the movie I want to see.

Last time we had this thread a literal cave troll showed up

The one with the shrek hand?

Ooooo I hope he shows up. I heard about it but didn't see it.

Fire TV is fucking great

yeah

inspiron mini

late but what phone is this???

LOL

>tfw ogrehands will never post his kinodungeon

Serious question - what type of sound setup should a cultured user have for their TV? I just have some pretty standard Logitech speakers I bought a long time ago because I wanted a subwoofer for music. They work fine, but it's a pain in the ass to not be able to control the volume with a remote.

Receiver connected to a 2.1 speaker setup at the very minimum.

i just use the HDTV in the next room....but that's not as interesting a pic.

i also rock this kino station near my desk.

I just have a tv with a dvd player. Torrent onto a usb / portable hard drive then stick it in the dvd player usb port

sad

Be the generation that ends itself

Why sad hombre

Genelec 8040 pair, 12" big black b&w subewoofer, plus cool expensive pre-amps and dacs

Some old 46" samsung I watch from a meter away, ps4 for streaming.

A non-4k Chromecast on my 50 inch 1080p TV.

Sure it's not bleeding edge but I'll live.

Panasonic TX-47AS650
4.1
2x dali zensor 3, 2x dali zensor 1
Elac sub2030
Denon AVR 2200W

Had a mid speaker for awhile but found it completely pointless thanks to room correction software and decent acoustics... Literally indistinguishable unless sitting at the edges of my sofa.

80%+ of the movies and series i watch are torrented... Rest are pretty much dvd box sets of series that cannot be found with acceptable quality.

Center speakers often sound completely unnatural in a living room environment, and just ruin things when dialogue stands out like that.

60" viewed from my king-sized bed where i watch kino with cute girls. Neckbeards suck my MCU blu-rays on the second shelf.

43" budget Sanyo. looks pretty good in my opinion. i have it connected to my PC via HDMI cable, but i use my cable box ($7/mo on landlords cable package) to watch Netflix and cable and shit. XBone controller is used for PC gaming.

poor as fuck

there's no denying it. i'm content enough though.

>dat tower of wtf
should've put a skateboard under that tv as well

it's sturdier than it looks

Speakers?

Wharfdale diamond 9's. They're discontinued and fairly hard to find. The center speaker came with my onkyo 5.1 setup

70 inch flat screen vizio covered in jizz

Download the kinos on my laptop and HDMI it to the 65" SmartTV

Have a few apps on it that I control with my phone, never tried screen mirroring tho

Avatar and Lawrence of Arabia looked fuckin amazing
