No read das kapital vol 1 instead

Read the Grundrisse, it's his later work. More theoretical.

No, try picking up a textbook on gommunism instead.
Or you could try this

Of course.

I'd have a few drinks beforehand. I can't sit through the whole thing without raging.

>bad arguments:the book
Read it and form your own opinions about it, you'll learn a lot.

It'll take less than an hour to read, there is no excuse not to

Read all three.

...

That book is an incomprehensible mess.

Its all philosophy, it has nothing to do with actual market or economic analysis or political analysis.

It comes to the conclusion that a society with no personal possessions, no religions and no hierarchies is the only way to bring about world peace.

But with anarchy, there's no entity to enforce the abolition of religion, personal property and bureaucracy. It would actually require bureaucracy to enforce these pillars of communism.

So its just a fairytale.

You should read it, so you can quote Marx when destroying leftists in a debate. Their cognitive dissonance will be hilarious.

Marx didn't even believe half of that shit. He was paid to write it by some other commies. Also Engels was a huge faggot, basically the Affleck to Marx's Damon.

>Is this a worthwhile read?

Yes.

It's like 10 pages. Are you lazy?

Yes. Unless you have to pay money for it in which case just go sparknote it instead

The philosophy bits are dogshit tbth
Some of Marx's critiques of capitalism are still relevant though

i don't entirely understand how religion is mixed into the equation, but surely if you were to have a marxist utopian society where top quality education and top quality healthcare and standard of living was provided to every single citizen of the nation, religion would fade on its own

see: scandinavia

historically scandinavian countries were extremely religious and anti-philosophy, but with a pretty decent standard of living for their citizens that began to fade away drastically and now they are one of the most non-religious countries

You got it backwards. Historical materialism is a god tier philosophy. Marxist economics is more or less a joke.

Marx disliked religion for odd materialist reasons. Seriously read some of his earlier wiritngs. It had very little to do with politics.

naturally a perfect society would not have a religion, at least not one like our current ones because the religions themselves impose inequality and classes among people; so i'd say it is related to politics

Yes that's the standard explanation for Marxist atheism. However it is not the real reason why Marx was against religion. If I recall correctly he believed it was a misappropriation of a person's essence which thereby contributed to false consciousness. That's about it.

Das Kapital sucks. Read Marx's earlier stuff instead.

Scandinavia is also completely protected by the US military, so they can afford to be socialist

Lol, that's a short book!

what sucks about it exactly

This, OP. You must read all three, know thy enemy and all that. Also, kek.

Of course. Know thy enemy, as they say.

audiobook on youtube here btw:

Read The Conquest Of Bread by Kropotkin instead.

Honestly no. You should read the basis of that shit. The Talmud.

In the manifesto the worker is seen as a tool for production. Economy is evaluated in some shitty terms.

Marx was a Jew.

Super hyped economical theories. The State has total power on economic decisions.

The application of this aborted theory was a totally jewish USSR Directorat.

>The State has total power on economic decisions.
>The application of this aborted theory was a totally jewish USSR Directorat.

these things aren't discussed in kapital
