Not joking. They've really sharpened up their search results and offer a pretty decent service. Plus Microsoft products have some good integration between each other. Google's a conglomerator. It buys out other products and pieces them together like Frankenstein. Look how shitty youtube turned out. Plus that whole google account thing.

I wouldn't use Microsoft. I've seen Startpage, searx and duckduckgo. Pretty sure everyone will give you a good reason to not use them, but try them out for yourself and see if you like them.
