by 10th grade I lost all my friends, and I was actually somewhat popular. I was about 15 or 16 I'm 27 now and haven't had a friend since. Its just me and myself out here floating it outer space. Sure I'll make small talk with co workers, nothing outside of work though. I guess some people were just meant to go through this shit alone. Its like the ultimate test.
To make friends here you need to be loud, obnoxious and know the lyrics of like 10 songs that ALWAYS get played at parties to "fit in". Also, if you puke the most you're known as the "soul of the party"
Pretty easy in my country. People are easygoing and it's not hard to make friends.

Luckily the internet is an adequate substitute. Humans might be social creatures, but merely being able to keep up with world affairs and exchange anonymous messages on Sup Forums is enough socialising to keep the brain from devolving into insanity.
