So I just got around to watching this cinematic abortion

So I just got around to watching this cinematic abortion.

>White girl carries around a nigger dick with her
>nigger savior
>Kylo Ren is the Jewiest-looking Jew ever
>Ebil white men Nazis
>Literally no good white men (Poe is like Hispanic and Han is a Jew)
>this piece of shit made a billion dollars

Jews ruin everything.
I'm just going to check out of society.

As a life long Star Wars fan it is with some regret but with absolute acceptance that I do not recognize anything made by Disney as canonical Star Wars.

Yeah the franchise is a pozzed bag of garbage now.

Han is mostly White, an icon of cishet shitlords, and a badass - He gets a pass. Now that he's dead the series has officially been emasculated.

>be professional writer
>have genuine technical criticisms
>see user list cliche ignorant gripes
>remember its summer
>resume preparing for barbecue with jewish friends

It wasn't half the movie Deadpool was, but it did what it said it was gonna do. It said Star Wars. It was Star Wars. Wasn't like Pirates 4 or an M. Night Shamwow movie.

Go outside user.

I see each trilogy as its own set of canon. If anything the sequels actually made the prequels better, since it established each group of films as their own thing.

>liking deadpool
Sup Forums please go

Star Wars was apart of my youth and it has been literally destroyed.

Whole lot of buttmad edgy summercandy-assgots ITT

It was good, everyone liked it and it's rejuvenated a dead franchise. Get over it for heaven's sake and stop being so perpetually triggered.

I'm still undecided about that, I like TFA but felt like it just picked and chose what they wanted be part of the canon, ie pretty much no mention of the prequels ever happening.

>pretty much no mention of the prequels ever happening.

Star Wars as it should be.

Now if Disney release despecialised editions of the OT I'll be forever grateful.

The events of the prequels are still important to the lore of star wars, regardless of how poorly executed they may have been. As for the GOUTs just download Harmy's set, not like the blu ray box sets are nice anymore, they don't even come with separate cases per each movie anymore.

Still refuse to watch it for being made by some diversity cucks. I heard it is somewhat of a remake of the original Star Wars movie.

Yeah I'm not really arsed with that, I'd rather just buy official despecialised ones. If there's no sign of them coming out in the medium term I'll do that.

The barebones of the prequels "story" are important as background detail and that's about it. The entire trilogy does not need to be canon. 90% of it doesn't need to be canon.

bump

it was a 6/10 for me.

>Mary Sue
>comic relief black man
>Han Solo being shoehorned in there

Only character I liked was cuckball droid.

I assure you I am not triggered. But Disney killed Star Wars so meh.

>poe
>han
not white
Both look very white, fuck off you manchild

The movie's only mistake was rey being a huge mary sue because muh woman power

Everybody I know said that their favorite character was Kylo ren and many mentioned Hux. You are delusional if the movie's intention was to make the audience hate white men. It was merely a cash grab

Retards like you make Sup Forums look bad.

>everyone liked it
>rejuvenated a dead franchise
Don't give them too much credit.

The film wasn't bad but it was a huge cashgrab. The plot was basically the same as the New Hope. Lightsaber fights were shit, so was the dialogue. Finn was basically a stereotype.

Ep.3 was better

nah. the expanded universe was way better that the new cannon shit, now we won't fucking get the Yuuzhan Vong War movie

But you'll get the Daisy ridley blackd sequels.

Shit, she got sexy legs.

There has to be some logical reason why Rey knows all these things and can master the force so adeptly with zero training that will be explained/revealed in the second film.

>The plot was basically the same as the New Hope

Fair criticism. It was basically a soft reboot, which the series arguably needed. It's also what JJ does best, looking at Star Trek.

>Lightsaber fights were shit

Disagree, the lightsaber fights went back to the OT style which I much preferred to the sterile, overly choreographed PT style. There was emotion and energy involved with them where the PT lightsaber duels managed to look like CGI, despite being live action.

>so was the dialogue

You don't expect Aaron Sorkin-level dialogue from a fucking Star Wars movie. It's meant to be a bit simple and cheesy, it's meant to have broad, cross-generational appeal.

Fair point, don't know about the Post-OT expanded universe stuff but Knights of the Old Republic was the dog's bollocks altogether. Would kill to see them turned into movies - or even better, a HBO-grade TV series.

Nah m8, it's Finn and Poe that are going to get together :^)

>SJWs overanalyze everything and call it "problematic"
>Sup Forums laughs
>Sup Forums overanalyzes everything and calls it "problematic"
>"OMG so true"

It was okay, but it doesn't hold a candle to A New Hope or The Empire Strikes Back.

Jew Jew Abrams was obviously trying to push an anti-white agenda too.

Also, the only entertaining character in the movie was Finn. Han, Chewie, Leia, and the other original trilogy characters felt like they were thrown in just because everyone likes the original trilogy and Disney knew people would see it just for those cameos and the nostalgia. Rey was boring and annoying, she came across as bitchy. Poe is in, like, 2 scenes, and he has a few lines, basically the new Wedge. The new alien characters were uninteresting.

It felt like a rehash of Episode 4. "B-but, this Death Star can destroy stars and it's way bigger!!" They should've just used the extended universe material.

The prequels had a better concept and story line but terrible execution.

Force Awakens is mostly a rehash of A New Hope, and a very inferior one at that, but the execution was miles better than the prequels.

Overall, not a bad film, but no where near the greatness of the original three. My ranking:

This tbqh

So many newfags here think all the Sup Forums views posted here are sincerely held and not just memes.

It's my third favourite after those two actually. I don't think anything could touch them though because of the whole rose-tinted glasses effect.

I liked Rey, didn't come across as bitchy to me. She's not perfect, but neither was Luke. Finn was hilarious.

>Han, Chewie, Leia, and the other original trilogy characters felt like they were thrown in

Ah come on! Han was central to Kylo Ren's story and he had great scenes with Finn and Rey. Chewie had that scene where he told his nurse about how brave he was and when he let a scream out of him when Han died and was all like "fuck you Kylo and all you cunt stormtroopers and fuck everyone here" before setting off all the explosives.

Leia I could take or leave though.

I agree about Starkiller Base. At this stage we're going to have a galaxy-sized superweapon by Ep. IX. They need to find a better mcguffin.

>It was good

It really wasn't.

i found it really boring and terrible even without any Sup Forums stuff.

it was boring as shit. predictable, lame characters.

It rendered the ending of the OT meaningless.

...

Oh shut up, The oj star wars had tons of great dialog.
And star wars didn't need a reboot
>the new Star Trek is good
opinion disgarded.

Ive got a huge schadenfreude over it and love the denial of the fans.

Not to defend the faults of Lucas/the prequels and the love hate relationship of the 00s but i take the fantasy delusions of a self made american over kike bullshit

Now the Extended Universe is non canon, Lucasarts is closed and EA has a exclusive deal with Disney. And guess what you still wont get a untouched release of the originals because Fox still holds rights to the first movie

>not rewatching the prequels instead and noticing all the clues about the nwo

I agree. The original trilogy will probably remain the best, and unless you were born before the Phantom Menace you'll probably always see it as seperate from the other trilogies.

The Force Awakens kinda sucked, but I liked it better than any of the prequel movies. And if you look at the original trilogy, or even Indiana Jones, you'll realize George Lucas' IP's have always been hokey popcorn trash that will really only grab you emotionally if you experience them as a kid.

That StarKiller speech before they nuked those planets made my dick hard

>Poe
>not a Jew

I thought that nose was going to come out of the screen and stab me

>great dialog [sic]

Did you watch those movies?

There were plenty of classic lines but there were also some awful ones

>but I was going to Tosche station to pick up some power converters
>I know. Somehow, I've always known.
>many bothans died to give us this information
>bullseye womp rats in my T-16

And who could forget

>that thing is huge
>it came from behind
>great shot kid now let's blow this thing and go home

>Lucasarts is closed and EA has a exclusive deal with Disney
Shame that there will never be a good SW game again.

Shit is gonna cost them in the long run.

Kids dont care about Star Wars because they got far more variety so its more of a bandwagon thign now plus theyve antagonist the core fanbase by destroying the EU and canceling Clone Wars

You subhuman Irish need to get off this board.

Stop being so uppity Jamal and know your place.

here is the true red pill on all this:

Star Wars has always been shit.

I mean I was obsessed in it as a kid and had about £400 worth of Star Wars Lego but having recently watched them again I can safely say they were utter fucking garbage.

If you are over the age of 16 and unironically watching that filth you are an autist.

I never even wasted time watching this trash flick because I already know what to expect.

I didnt even bother downloading it for free because my time and bandwidth is more valuable than this shiat out kike piece of turd posing as a piece of "culture"

Stop watching childrens movies ruined by SJWs. You are not white, BTW.

>Star Wars has always been shit.

No it wasnt. The Movie revolutionized modern Cinema, ILM set Industry changing standards, THX certified sound became a thing and even with the prequels Lucasfilm pushed a lot in the realm of digital effects and editing

I like the first trilogy

what followed next is excrement after excrement that didnt hold my attention or interest for long and felt like it was nothing more than trying to mind fuck me in the worst possible way.

It was literally worse than the phantom menace.

I will not be lectured on whiteness by a countries that are

>literally a few hundred miles from Africa.

>Rey is stronger in the force and lightsaber fighting than Kylo Ren without any training

WTF

Is that all you see? Sticking racist.

... like Europe? The source of white people?

By your dim yank logic, all white people are black :^)

Kylo got a gut shot from Chewie's bowcaster, which would send a normal person flying. He was also emotionally messed up from his struggle between the dark side and the light and killing his own father.

Did you even watch the movie?

Golly it's like you are trying to trigger user or something.

Screw you OP I liked it and as a Mexican intellectual I enjoyed seeing a Hispanic Star Wars character.

I bet you are hoping for the nigger and white girl to hook up. You probably write cuck stories about it on a blog. Don't you?

>only grab you emotionally if you experience them as a kid.

And this is why people like the original so much and the prequels less. Most Star Wars fans watched the original when they were children. I never read Harry Potter, but from what I gather JK Rowling made each successive book more mature and darker, because her audience was growing up. George Lucas made the prequels as if his audience never grew up.

by this logic you might as well say Avatar and Transformers are great films.

I enjoyed Avatar. I think James Cameron shouldn't risk franchise fatigue wiht infinite Avatar movies like Disney has with Star Wars. Star Wars was flagging with Lucas, but with Disney Star Wars is a beaten, whipped & flogged dead horse and still dead.
Transformers has lost its way but a brave effort.
