And soon the temperatures will drop down to around -25°C and colder.

your town name sounds finnish if you get rid of that a with a circle and make it vuoggattyaalmi

>finnish
American linguistics, everyone
ok, so if you invade and enslave sweden how do you finnisize their town names?
>also mixing front- and back vowels in same word
we burn everything down and give the whole damn place back to nature
why can't you mix them? we do that in english as well. for example bydlo
Many already have finnish names.
>Stockholm -> Tukholma
>Uppsala -> Upsala
...
Also, is not really raining (yet).
chuva is a funny word for rain.
does it sound funny to you or only to foreigners?
>tfw 22 C
Doesn't just fit. "e" and "i" are somewhat neutral in this sense, there are plenty of words with both them and back vowels, but you can't combine "a", "o", "u" with "ä", "ö", "y" outside of combination words. English pronunciation is more relaxed anyway.
34 ºC lol
does everyone here live in heaven?
No, washington state. It's only 7:42 here, supposed to get up to 19°C today
2ºC here, gonna drop to -1 tonight and probably snow.
Heaven for me.

Russia

No, since we learn this way, does't sound funny.
But other words kind of sound funny, most of them come from the natives, like Aipin, Uruguai, Paraná, etc.
Some foreigns lost their shit when they see the abbreviation of SEXta-feira (Friday).
>dude, you have a day of the weekend named sex, wtf?
> SEXta-feira
kek that was my first thought when i went on 55 once just out curiosity.
are there any english words that sound funny to you? it is believed that any word that has a "k" in it may sound funny to native speakers. so when you replace a "c" with a "k" you can make any word appear funny.

You are supposed to be used to extremely hot temepratures. Saunas
Your country has hot summers. Aren't you used to temperatures way over 10°?
90% humidity
I feel sorry for you user.
Yeah, that pic is just a meme. Generally I'm comfortable up to around 21°C. We hit 30°C a couple times this year and I felt like I was dying though.
Beach is fun
Its 72 in real people degrees. Pretty warm for mf OCTOBER but not that bad it was in the 90s just a few weeks ago. In the future this will be cold.
24°C

33C, will rise to 40 tomorrow.
Absolutely perfect, as usual
Way too hot man.
>it's too warm where I live as well
Absolutely depressing. THIS is too hot, during summer in my region. 23°C is average for everyone
I'm not against cold weather but not seeing the sun for weeks is shit
During the summers the sun never goes down in the north
This humidity is suffering
>40 degrees
Nope. NOPE. That's insane.
I really look forward to the real winter.
24/7 darkness, temperatures down to - 40°C.
What's long term darkness like on your mentality? We get the same temperatures as you, but the sun comes up every day.
20°
82% humidity
Don't care for it at all
40°C is too hot for me as well, I like my summer days around 28°C.
When it was around 40°C I went to an outdoor music festival with bands from the UK, they weren't ready for this
I wouldn't like this either. I just want regular day/night with clear skies
I enjoy rain from to time but plain grey weather is boring as fuck
>f
get the fuck out nigger
Hahahahaha
HAHAHAHAHAHA
For real though, you have my pity.
>What's long term darkness like on your mentality?
Not that bad. People born here adapt.
Tourists and newly moved in people struggle though.
We get pretty much exactly 3 months of pitch black night.
For me it's calm and comfy. I have plenty of lights at home.
We also have northern lights pretty much around the clock here during those periods.
It's the summer that wreak havoc with me. Then it's the opposite, daylight for a couple months. Fucks up my sleep every year.
I was out hunting earlier and had to come home because of the sweating. It's way too muggy for autumn. Is it better where you are?
Sounds comfy. I keep wanting to visit the northern territories here during the winter to see what it's like. This last summer gave me a real resentment towards warm weather too.
A lot better. 6°C and 49% humidity.
I'm jealous
Yeah it's pretty good.
It's always fun to see tourists all confused when it's midday and still dark as night here haha.
>pic, how it looks in winter during my lunch break at noon
That actually looks really nice. I imagine there's lots of clear views of the stars that time of year as well.
Yep plenty of stars. Several observatories up here.
And sky view hotels which are pretty much glass bubbles in the middle of the forest with a clear view of the night sky.
>pic related, the opposite, midnight in summer here, enjoy my ugly profile
its shite and depressing here dont visit
how so? humidity from rain at 77? it is nothing.
>sky view hotels
That sounds amazingly comfy.
That other Swede is making me believe otherwise tbqh.
