Not like he was ever a big deal or anything.

This. C list actors drop out of the industry.

These things happen.

If it was Jonah Hill or some shit this thread would have actually been worth it

He's just working to get out of the house. He's a millionaire.

HAHA LET'S ALL POINT AND LAUGH AT SOMEONE WORKING

Fuck off.

could have money

but not health insurance

>oh look this guy is working while I shitpost everyday on Sup Forums

>Posted on Aug 16, 2013
WOW SO RELEVANT

Lol OP got rekt

it only proves that actors are useless in real life
he has literally no skills so he becoms a waiter
not even fucking construction worker or electrician apprentice

Yeah cause working as a fucking waiter is what millionaires do to pass the time

>le it doesn't matter how pathetic their job is
Let me guess, you claim that you would never hire somebody by their looks either

>"HEY AINT YOU DAT GUY FROM DA MOVIES?"

>"y-yeah, hehe"

>"EY MARTHA IT'S DAT KID FROM ALL THOSE MOVIES!!"

>"th-thanks..."

>"WOW TOUGH BREAK EH KID? NOW GO FETCH ME SOME FUCKIN SPIDER ROLL!"

>"y-you too"

I know right. Is this the cloister general or something?

Literally this.

sage

Yes? Not everyone wants to be surrounded by sycophants.

Veronica Saori Wohlin

you'd have to be a piece of shit to write an article about that

So the guy got a few memorable bit parts in successful movies and then the work dried up and he had to get a different job. This shit happens all the time to working actors. Why the fuck should any of us care?

>*cums on your food*
>"now lets see who is in a tough break"

Don't fuck with the waiter/tress, kids.

Nikki Blonsky from the movie Hairspray

Remember when this guy dropped out of the movies to be a pizza delivery guy and was never heard from again?

ewww look at this person who has a job

Why would he be a millionaire?

ITT: neets making fun of hardworking people

>So word on the street is that Brad Pitt has been texting recently with ex Jennifer Aniston TODAY, on #HTL.

truly award worthy journalism

these types of vapid cunts are why women arent allowed to drive in some countries

Spider roll?

Huh?

It's harder being NET son.

but nobody's making fun of him ITT, we're defending him.

thanks for you (You)s
much appreciated

Look it up dipshit, you'll be happy that you did

>Hardworking
>Waiter
Kek

Literal JOB SHAMING

just shows how low "journalists" will go. The guy's doing his job, leave him alone.

Rupert Grint, fucking ginger from Harry Potter series, drivies in ice cream truck just cause he can and wants to.

lot of butthurt waiters itt apparantly. maybe try getting a job where you actually get paid by your employer?

At least hes on his two fucking feet walking, unlike someone who is in bed all day or on his computer chair

He did that like 10 years ago. Get over it

>18+
>still living with your parents

doesn't Sup Forums constantly make fun of people like brendan fraser for not having anything going in his life

this is one of the things I hate about Sup Forums, we have multiple memes and threads dedicated to making fun of people who have been dealt a shit hand by life
And then none of those people, conveniently, are present for threads like this

>making fun
I wish Brendan all the best and hope he unJUSTs himself despite being a prick online.

I never saw American Pie so I thought it was an actual robot from the headline.

but le JUST meme

JAJAJAJAJAJAJA EL JUSTO

>living past 50

One of the guys from Goonies became a lawyer.
I think someone who was in Star Wars is a butcher somewhere.

People here act like if you're in a movie, you can't ever do anything that's NOT entertainment related ever again. Sometimes people don't have the star power and have to drop out, sometimes people decide they don't like that life, and want to drop out to be normal again.

>WAHHHHH DON'T MAKE FUN OF HIM FOR BEING A WAGEKEK WAHHHHH

>I've never worked a job before
Yes, because restaurant work is super easy.

Come with me if you want to JUST.

what's so bad about this? he at least got a job.

...

why would someone would write an article about this?

>dude some z list celebrity is no longer and actor
>and get this
>he has a job!!
>LMAO!

these awful celeb focused media outlets need to go the way of gawker

Some of God's creatures never have a chance.

>I want x
>gives him y instead x
>you suck, user, you're fired
it's a hard job for a tard
>

>36
>working as a waiter

just fuck my shit up

It happens when they make stupid ass threads.

He played Rorschach I thought

Service industry is perfectly valid work.

And yes, social skills are very important for various jobs, and not everyone has those skills. Some of us work well-paying technical jobs, but can't cross over to certain other places in the business because they require various people skills that people in boards like this tend to not give enough credit.

>job

When will they learn?

A job is a job. Every job needs someone to do it.

>it's another coastal elite shaming someone for being working class episode

>living past 20

>2013

So where is he now?

Right, because a small role in a mostly forgotten movie is going to pay the bills forever. How stupid are people? At least he has a respectable job unlike Amber Ryland, "News" Editor for some shitty online rag.

Until automation starts really kicking in...

Let me know when automated garbage pickup and automated burger flipping and serving becomes a thing.

Thanks for confirming you've never worked before.

>Unexpected item in bagging area

>2013
>a year after american reunion

Kek

>pls contact one of our automated employees about support

>NEETs
>self-improvement
>freedom
one of these things is not like the other

>spider roll
Japs are fucking disgusting

You're right I've never worked as a foodbitch

Probably within the next 15-20 years. Self-driving cars will be first.

this honestly

Lol I bet you couldn't be a waiter due to your massive stomach preventing your arms from reaching the table.

...

>In 2014, a New York Daily News article reported Owen was working as a waiter at a sushi restaurant in Santa Monica, California. In the article, Owen says that "life doesn’t always go the way you planned. I love acting and this job lets me stay in the fight."[1] After that article was published, he appeared in two films in addition of a role on Criminal Minds.

Good for him. This is a far more dignified and less ignominious end than I would have expected for him. I would have called him being an extra on Sharknado 87: Rise of the Sharkraptor at best, busted for jacking it to kids at a public park at worst. This is quite literally better than what Jason Biggs got.

>Garbage all over lawn
>call city council
>spend two hours dealing with automated phone system
>finally get to the right section
>YOUR GODDAMN ROBOTS SPILLED TRASH ALL OVER MY LAWN
>I'm sorry, I didn't understand, could you repeat that?
>YOUR GODDAMN ROBOTS SPILLED TRASH ALL OVER MY FUCKING LAWN
>I'm sorry, I didn't understand, could you repeat that?
>OPERATOR
>Goodbye

He isn't a wagie here though

Same as talking to a mexican

>anons who honestly believe it's impossible for technology to advance past such simple hurdles
Pretty simple-minded thinking

I actually couldn't be a waiter, I randomly get incredibly shaky hands that sometimes if I'm carrying two cups of tea my right or left will shake uncontrollably and I end up burning my hand while people laugh.

My wife often takes the food trays if we are out at a fast food joint

Most millionaires aren't retired, and they all do work related things to pass the time.

people here severely underestimate the importance of well-developed people skills

t. uneducated midwesterner

Anyone who thinks waiters are overpaid has never been one and likey scares children with their appearance, while maintaining that its an easy job.

Pro tip your feet never recover from jobs where you stand for 15 hours

>Refuses to do a simple job of taking an order and bringing the cooked food to a table
>Does it even more shittily if you don't pay them an extra ransom of $5+ every time you come in

Nobody will miss waiters when they're gone. They'll only exist in high end restaurants that pay them a good wage to be extremely knowledgeable about the food and wine.

>not sure who's trolling who

People pay for service. Shit service is supremely grating and unnerving. Humans being able to understand other humans on a contextual level is tantamount. You can automate many things, service is not one of them. At least not in a general sense. Could a robot make sushi? Sure. Could a robot ever make good sushi? Not within the next century. Understanding and dealing with emotions makes us who we are, until you make artificial intelligence that can contextualize emotions like a human being and not like someone with autism or down syndrome, humans will be important I'm service.

>foodbitch
Are you 12, dude?

>upscale fancy restaurant
>"hey weren't you the nerdy kid on American pie?"
>proceeds to get huge tips
>probably makes decent wages
>saves money from acting
>retires in 5 years
Sounds good desu

Who the fuck is complaining about having to pay the people that actually cook food?

Waiters are a waste and undeserving of more than minimum wage until you start approaching Michelin level
