When did people become so obsessed with this “system” bullshit?
When did people become so obsessed with this “system” bullshit?
it's a vague fantasy people can blame in their inability to process their own shortcomings i.e. "systemic racism"
This. It's a way to hand wave your way to whatever conclusion you want to arrive at.
it's just a way for people to justify good or bad performance
>tom bradys not great he's just a system baby
or maybe tom brady is the key to making a good system work
>matt ryan was a system baby, shanahan leaves and the offense becomes shit
yeah this one is probably legit
>so obsessed with this “system” bullshit?
Hal Mumme's Tim Couch
Can't wait for Garoppolo to lead the 49ers to the SB under Shanahan only to lose to the Patriots.
It's how the left maintains their stance of being the oppressed underdogs in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. By pointing to something as nebulous as "the system", they don't have to bother with troublesome things like naming the individuals who are actually doing the discriminating and then defending their claims against better supported explanations. They can just say "it's all backroom deals and unconscious bias, and everybody is so used to it that they don't see it".
It doesn't matter if almost literally every household name in the business world + the deep state has its head between the legs of your ideology. "The system." There. Now some shadowy alliance of capitalist oppressors who spend 24 hours per day playing golf, smoking cigars, drinking tens of thousands of dollars worth the wine, getting massages from porn stars, and plotting the oppression of women and non-whites are the reason why black neighborhoods are impoverished and filled with crime.
Falcons suck because they blew a 25 point lead. Their confidence has been permanently shook.
Wasn't this argument specifically invented so that people good deny that Tom Brady was a good QB?
>Wasn't this argument specifically invented so that people good deny that Virgil Carter was a good QB?
fixed
Talking about sports, goofball. Imagine being this obsessed with social issues/politics.
It's the same concept though. In sports, "the system" is used to take credit from individual accomplishment. In politics, "the system" is also used to undermine achievement. That's the "check your privilege" movement.
About 1923
the @Bucsfan5493 misses the point.
It isn't Koetter or Smith that is "wasting" talent.
The NFL is relatively simple; out execute the opponent on a consistent basis week after week. The challenge: roster is full of sub 80 IQ impulsive niggers. The Patriots have won for over a decade because they consistently win and don't provide a milieu for niggardom. They've gone through king niggars in Corey Dillon, LaGarret Blount, Randy Moss, Brandon Merriweather, Lawyer Millor, Rodney Harrison....but never infected their teams with cheap, ghetto niggardry.

>ghetto niggardry
>niggardry
Bucsfan
>Bucs
Fuck off retard go back to your Sup Forums hovel, no one here on the sports board want to hear your nonsense.
>the sports board
>mike smith
>loaded roster
He plays for the fucking Flames...
I have no idea who that is, so it clearly wasn't
this absurd racism has no place here.
go be ignorant somewhere else jethro.
>I have no idea who that is, so it clearly wasn't
first "West Coast Offense" quarterback
Maybe you should quit being such a Nordfag
> hurr durr, NFL didn't exist before 2006, cuz I'm only 12 years old
>absurd has no place here
why not?
i don't know.
all the influencers on social media say it and i want to be cool too. i have no real opinions or insight.
save the whales.
Fpbp
No one denies that Brady is a good QB, but it’s perfectly legitimate to observe that Belichick is the greatest coaching mind in history and Brady is an average athlete at best who wouldn’t be elite outside Boston
>Belichick is the greatest coaching mind in history
what do he and Saban do "systematically" that is different than all others?
The only thing they do is not tolerate niggers nogging. That's it. For shit's sake, both Saban and Belichick have everyone else's rejects and interns working for them
dont know
matt ryan has always been good..... regardless of system
check your privilege, there are kids who cant afford the internet
It's usually a way to diminish some player. There are system's that inflate stats or make mediocre players look really good. Happens in college all the time. The best NFL example I can think of is Mike Shanahan and is running system which could turn bums off the street into 1000 yard rushers with 4.5 ypc.
Alabama boosters buy Sabans players.
Idk what bill does. He's probably just a great coach with a great qb.
Running backs have the same average Wonderlic scores as janitors. Imagine being given the day to day operations of a billion dollar company and one of your directors or senior managers is a janitor groomed for the position. This is sort of what being an nfl coach is like.
>Alabama boosters buy Sabans players.
Nick has always been able to recruit. There are a LOT of good programs that get elite athletes and still don't win.
Nick wins because his teams consistently perform, have consequences for bad execution and you never see his teams acting like chimps. Same with New England.
user stated that Bill is the BEST COACH in history, which is true. It isn't because they do things on offense or defense that is different than anyone else. It isn't because he has special staff (that turns over every few years). Its because the roster acting like the natural state of complete niggardom isn't tolerated.
all big colleges buy their (best) players
that cam newton thing about getting 150k? that was true
that shoe company buying that player at Louisville, etc
boosters are nuts
what the fuck are you on about, faggot?
no shit DI programs recruit. We're talking about "SYSTEMS". The only "system" Bill and Nick exhibit is they do not allow niggardry to infect their program
Different guy here, but how do you figure Saban is better at 'buying' players than any other team? Year after year? It's not like Alabama has the deepest pockets.
Maybe recruits just wanna play there because Saban has a system in place that results in more winning and more draft picks than any other system.
Saban has has the #1 class every year since 2010. He's a different level of recruiting. Their maybe top 10 class this year is like unheard of
you autistic mongoloid, no one is talking about recruiting. They aren't simply out-athleting the competition in NC games. Nor did he do that at Michigan State or LSU (though he DID get elite athletes).
We're talking about the common thread of these SYSTEM winners. You do realize this thread is about the label of being defined as a "SYSTEM" player, right?
You're not asking them to manage a billion dollar company, retard. Runningbacks in particular don't need to use their brains. Yours is one of the dumbest analogies I've seen in quite some time.
Well at that point it just becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy because going there is just viewed as the best path to the nfl. He could probably not actively recruit and just shove a thumb up his ass and wait for players to beg to play for him and get a top 10 class every year now.
>This is sort of what being an nfl coach is like.
probably EXACTLY what being an NFL coach is like
