WE DID IT REDDIT!

epic!

What about the scene in one of the Terminator movies where we get a shot from space of the planet being nuked, aren't like millions of people dying on screen then?

haha sweet dude

What about schindler's list

Did they suddenly forget about Star Wars? Episode 4 has an entire planet blowing up, and Episode 7 has an entire solar system.

what about Schindler's List

What about Star Wars, where an entire fucking planet is blown up?

What about TDRK, where a plane crashes with no survivors?

Pffff, stupid Marvel. The original Star Wars had more.

>death/killing=maturity
Loving this meme.

And you have to count double the fatalities of shooting men then throwing them out a plane

Didn't Star Wars have more, though?

>truefacts
False, I've seen several movies in where planet Earth blew up

and yet you're not expected to care about a single one. even the mom's cancer death transitions immediately into a reddit dance scene

Like Star Wars

This article is pretty old so I don't remember the details, but they have some weird criteria for what counts as an onscreen death

What about when the Death Star destroyed an entire planet?

nobody lived on alderaan

Alderaan was like that North Korean propaganda village, no one actually lives there

No

It's still a movie for kids because none of the deaths are supposed to have any impact whatsoever and is just played for spectacle. The kid is not going to think about death or war fatalities when watching a flick like this, he will be thinking "look mom there goes le ebin dancing man and the talking racoon". It's all about the intention, and this flicks simply have the intention to entertain.
