ITT: Your dream movie ideas

Apocalypto vs Predator

A female Freddy Krueger

Add a dash of Carl jung influence, archetypes, and say Freddy's anima splits from him creating a terrifying female Freddy.

Escape-From-New-York-like plot but in middle eastern cyberpunk mega-city, heavily overcrowded and starved for power and sweet water.

"Freddy Got Fingered" in my dreams.

>She appears in wet dreams

"Five Nights With Freddy".

Max Landis created this thread to steal your ideas.

Or another one!

And inspiring story about a young enterpreneur who dreams of building a space elevator that will open up space for human exploration.

Over multiple hardships, political and financial struggles, coming close to a war once or twice he builds it.

Once that happens it is promptly attacked by terrorists, it's security protocols fail and most of the elements fall crashing down to the earth killing millions.

Ass-to-ass Scarjo kino
for the faps

actually a predator movie set back in time could be quite enjoyable.

At the end of P2 the predators gave Danny Glover a black powder pistol.

A heist movie from the perspective of the target. It follows a casino owner as he makes preparations for a special event. In the background of each scene, there are hints of the heist being prepared and executed and the owner fumbles around trying to thwart the plans of the criminals while making sure the event goes to plan.

The Moon loses its orbit, and slowly throughout the course of the movie, causes more and more destruction across the planet.

It's like a spiritual sequel to Armageddon.

I like this. This could be pretty fucking intense, the possibilities for good build-up would be endless.

I don't know, We've seen so many earth disaster movies, kinda meh.

I wanna see one from a different perspective.

In Cowboy Bebop the moon is damaged through an experiment on gate technology(fast travel) and it's scattered remnants fall down to earth making it mostly unhabitable.

What if the story was told from the point of view of the scientists that caused that cataclysm, not just the people on earth reaping the moon meteor showers.

That's pretty shit because of the lazer and missile weapons, apocalypto vs alien would be way better
>agile melee between aztec jaguar warriors and xenomorphs
>aztecs find a way to hunt them down and turn the tide on them
>stealthy sneaking through the jungle to outmaneuver each other
>they capture a live alien and sacrifice it atop a pyramid temple, carving out its heart while the crowd below roars in ecstasy

Edward Scissorhands sequel. Existentialist horror.

That could not possibly be good.

Could it?

Is it doable?

a documentary about baneposting

Bruce Willis in a good movie again

Looper already happened.

Oh fugg that sounds cool.

I haven't seen that yet. Worth a watch?

Because it'd be boring, like Deep Impact. No-one wants to see things from the scientists' point of view because scientists' are always dull. Give me a blue collar Bruce Willis any day.

Gibson's Viking movie

Discovering the acid blood during the sacrifice would be cool.

It's one of my favourite sci-fi movies of the last 10 years.

Probably top 3 as far as time travel movies go.

Preaty fuckin' neato.

Why can't it be both? See earth from the point of view of the blue collar Bruce Willis and see the start, the cataclysm, and the regret, from the point of view of the scientists.

To make it even sweeter Bruce could be one of the people trying to stop the experiment, in vain.

Is that maleShep in the background?

>carving out its heart

Yeah, not gonna get very far with that, are they?

So Contact?

-Avatar vs. Predator
-A true story of heroism from a German soldier in WWII.
-Predator 3 with Adam Baldwin's character from Predator 2 as the protagonist.
-Colonial Marines movie, but it has nothing to do with Aliens. It's Colonial Marines doing Colonial Marine stuff.

>>they capture a live alien and sacrifice it atop a pyramid temple, carving out its heart while the crowd below roars in ecstasy
Sounds good but probably wouldn't work out too well due to the acid blood. Would be a great ending for preds v Aztecs tho.
>near the end they somehow knock the predator out
>next shot is predator opening it's eyes to the bright sun
>starts to hear crowd noise as he comes to
>it gets louder
>can't move, is staring straight up
>sees man is ceremonial outfit appear standing over him with knife
>feels immense pain and screams
>next shot is his own heart still beating in man's hands
>pred blood runs everywhere
>pan out showing pyramid and huge crowd going wild
Fuckin film it

Colonial Marines getting some of that Arcturian poontang!

Yeah, kinda, but more play on the human hubris aspect, less on the "IT MIGHT BE AN ALIEN WEAPON SENT HERE TO KILL US" aspect.

That's what makes the idea work. The Aztecs have to defeat an enemy that's light years more advanced than them using their own skills, traps, and primitive weapons.

It's an amazing idea.

predators always downgrade their tech to make the fight slight fair. They are kind of shitlords though because they always have a huge advantage.

Fuck OP that's actually not a bad idea.

>Colonial Marines doing Colonial Marine stuff.

I'd pay for that. I totally would.

I think Tom Skerrit mentions something about the Vegan Army in pouring out of the transport. That's why they militarize the project.

Literally Tank Girl

But what would it even be about that sets it apart from other army movies? What would even be the point in setting in space, in the future, if there are no aliens?

star trek vs aliens is happening in the comics right? would love to see it in kino format.

would pay double and buy crab legs to see this

I guess I gotta see it then.

Just make it with the whole "war never changes" theme, where you have all this badass tech, amazing space ships, huge scale, vast corporations, orbital colonies, but it's all the same shit over and over again.

People get paid to kill people. It's not pretty, but it is what it is.

The plot or lack of aliens doesn't matter if your crew will be full of good, belivable characters.

>Computer, beam all xenomorphs off the ship and into space.
>"Command confirmed"

>illegal aliens vs predator

>completely missing the point of the xenomorphs
It's supposed to be cosmic horror with sexual themes. The predators are a much better pick and thematically fit the story.

Add to it some government vs giant corporations/military vs mercenaries stuff and people will eat it up with how anti-capitalistic people are nowadays.

Also, you need mega corporations for good cyberpunk.

You could have space marines being sent down to mega cities of a colony to find/extract certain someone. Or fuck that, just make them pacify the population. So it's kinda mixed, one hand you have corporations ruling the colony cities with money, and on the other you have the government crushing dissent with brute force.

Make it kinda like Dredd, where you want to root for the space marines, by they hardly improved the situation at the end of the movie.

Speaking of Star Trek, I've always wanted to see a movie told exclusively from the Klingon's point of view, with no humans in the movie at all.

buzz lightyear of star command with real people.

Meh, the appeal of Buzz was that he was a toy that thought he was the real deal. He wouldn't really work as a live-action character.

Black Dynamite v. Blackula with Terry Crews playing Blackula.

that pretty much already happened in Predator.. the natives lost horribly

How about:

>conquistadors arrive, intro boat ride they discuss the tales of vast pyramid cities and mass sacrificial graves
>they arrive at colonial town and do whatevs, establish that its fucking HOT
>hear wild shit in the night, more seasoned conquistador says the jungle is a lot louder than home and that you get used to it.
>as he says this the camera slowly zooms into the face of a tribal servant staring wide eyed into the night
>next morning
>panic, some shits occured with a hunting party
>they find weapons, bits of clothes and viscera among the mens personal items
>DEUS VULT the nearest tribe of local savages
>women and children only, all men absent, they burn the village and spare their lives but the tribesfolk are afraid of something, they're taken back to town
>tribal servant speaks to one of the women, she has huge flawless bare breasts, and says the men were taken by the serpent god as punishment or some shit
>warmongering conquistador says its just big city aztecs in their extravagant garb rounding up sacrifices and wants to take the fight to the city
>warmonger, white guilt, and tribe servant go to the city to see whats up
>tribe servant is on point and the pred picks him off
>warmonger MUH SAVAGES
>they stumble upon two guys from the village they razed and an aztec cheiftain they hold captive, assume they did it tension as they don't understand each-other, warmonger wants blood, tribesmen know the real threat, chieftain is actually pro-pred
>thus begins their journey to the city, men working together putting aside their differences for a greater goal
>the pred is sacrificed at the end

>loses its orbit
>so it drifts closer to Earth

predator v an all female cast. The predator stalks, rapes, kills and eats all of them. The last girl is a nigger though and she gives the predator aids which kills it
