I live in the area of Portugal with the most Germanic influence.

(15%/20% at best though).

But the mix with Celts gave a real comfy feeling.

We divide the land like the Suebi did (small patches of land to everyone instead of large villas like in the South).

Some influence in the language too and our spirit. (We're ferociously competitive with people near us, towns with 30km difference banter between each other all the time).

That land splitting kinda sucks though (called Frankish style here, splitting the land further and further to ever diminishing parcels). It always led to waves of overpoulation, then wars, diseases and cold waves (since the 1700s also emigration to 'Murrica) which cut the population back down again, cycle repeat.

Good thing we did "Flurbereinigung" (re-organising the land into much bigger patches again) in the 1970s as less and less people stayed farmers (even in my village here, it's probably down to 1-2%), but it has some downsides too, like huge monocultures leading to more pests and less wildlife diversity, plus sadly fruit trees aren't very profitable any more (competition from mostly Eastern Europe I guess), so all the nice orchards are turning into boring wheat fields, resulting in stronger winds and more erosion
