Except you really can't, cuz Jackson literally went full Lucas with Kong 2005. He gave into all the "epic" battle shit to top the original and spent so much time building his own lore he forgot that Kong is supposed to be some simple story and he failed to make it that way. All the shot with Ann and the old man and Jimmy went no where and it only ever got good after they left the island.
