I want your help /trumpgeneral/. I've a female friend and I've noticed she's receptive to redpills, so I wanted to talk to her about the dangers of mass immigration. I already discussed how much the presence of gorillions of immigrants hurts the middle class and the poor economically(wages etc). She agreed but didn't want to blame immigrants as people for that and said something like "they would find a way to drive down wages even without immigrants anyway". Use a different angle: why would immigrants assimilate into your culture? It doesn´t offer them nationalism - instead, your leaders constantly apologize for the evil deeds your country did in the past, summarizing it´s past as nothing but a brute barbaric society. Instead, believing that your culture is somehow superior is pointing to the arrogance most pro-open borders hold in their hearts.
Why would they give up their language, their habits, their identity? Only to replace it with a failing culture, which has to draw in immigrants in the first place to not collapse. Why should they? Why just not not assimilate, and then take over once all the italians are dead?
There is no reason for immigrants to immigrate. In the longer term, it´s obviously better for them to form gated communities, and to share the benefits their own communites produce while also enjoying the benefits the universalist state provides. And they only need to wait, until they´re the 51%. And then, they have won. They aren´t immigrants anymore, but the majority. They haven´t integrated into a country, but now they have their own country, in their own likeliness.
Multiculturalism and Immigration can exist, they can be succesful. But not all immigration and not all multiculturalism will automatically succed. You need to create both strong pull and push factors for it, which the current nations simply lack the insight and the will to provide. Immigration into our current state is like giving inoculating a late stage AIDS-patient. It won´t make us stronger. It will kills us.
Instead, we arrogantly believe that at one point they´ll notice the superiority of our culture. And than they´ll become like us. They won´t. Because out current cultures totally ignore that beyond all the ideoligies and moralites, simple biological truths still govern demographics. And in a democracy democraphics are everything.
