idk m8 these previews are pretty dark, they even showed him doing a test run to make sure he doesn't end up vegging in a hospital

>It's a Truman isn't doing anything for New Year's Eve and his parents keep pestering him about it and saying that he should arrange something with his friends, eventually Truman snaps and tells them that he asked his former friends and none of them wanted to do anything with him, leading his parents to start treating him nice and constantly ask him how he's doing, just sending Truman spiralling even more into a depression, and come new year's eve when he's all alone in the house whilst his parents and brother are out having fun he tries to distract himself from his nagging thoughts of suicide by watching some shitty movie but gets distracted half way through so he then takes a bottle of vodka he was saving for a special occasion and goes for a long walk and ends up at a sheer cliff over the ocean drinking the vodka and daring himself to stop being such a selfish coward and just fucking do it and save everyone the trouble, however Truman's innate fear of death get's the better of him so he simply finishes the bottle and passes out crying, after which the next morning when he arrives home at 11am with a seering hangover and urine soaked clothes expecting his family to be worried about him he instead finds them congratulating him on having found a party to go to at the last minute, a fiction which Truman is glad to keep up as it saves him from having to confront his mental illness episode

These are all bad so far. Is this really the best Sup Forums has got?

Ha. Pathetic.

Only the newfags "support Trump." Old Sup Forums knows to be more skeptical about any alleged hero that is not JFK'd. Sup Forums is 90% newfags now, like all the big boards. Immigration sucks.

Every fucking year. You think he'd grow out of it ffs

>that episode where Truman goes with Marlon to some girls apartment for an easy score
>after some drinks Marlon leaves with one of the girls to her room leaving Truman alone with the other
>left alone with a woman for the first time Truman starts to panic as he doesn't know yet how to take the lead, so he just keeps talking more and more over the point of oversharing, making the girl both visibly bored and uncomfortable

>there he just stands looking at his cellphone not knowing what to do and just wanting it to be over

>it's a Truman spends all day sorting his 10tb of Sup Forums images into subfolders for easy shitposting

You know, the crazy thing about the Truman Show, is that why would Truman be unpopular in high school? Everyone's an actor, and why would the producers let their show be based around a loser.

He could be super in to all kinds of nerdy stuff and have a stupid sense of humor, and he'd still get friends and girlfriends right on schedule, because he has a team of casting directors working as his guardian angels.

This one was featured on the Hallmark Channel IIRC

>its a Truman realises that people being happy doesn't make good television episode

I love those

>it's a Truman has that dream again where he wakes up and every other person on Earth is gone so he steals a car and drives from pharmacy to pharmacy and acquires all of the opiates, opioids and benzodiazepines episode

The soft lens filters they used really made it so comfortable.

>it's a Truman has his biggest problem solved in a single day once again episode

But seriously, the whole point of the show is that Truman is the only one introducing chaos into his environment, and the whole point of the movie is that we're all living our lives like Truman. We're doing what we're supposed to do. Why do people smoke after sex? I guess it feels good, but a big part of it is seeing it in so many movies. People didn't used to smoke afterwards, but directors couldn't show the actual sex, and having people just lying in bed together doesn't work as well as having them doing something, hence smoking after sex.

Truman follows the script of a regular job, regular wife, regular house, regular life. Some things, like children, aren't coming along when they're supposed to, and it causes a lot of tension because they literally aren't following the script. When he hits his midlife crisis, everyone completely loses it because he's inserting all of this chaos into an orderly world by refusing to play along.

In an actual Truman Show, he probably wouldn't get to the point. A team of writers working with the full cooperation of literally everyone else in the "world" would be able to solve pretty much any problem you can create. There's nothing like a political divide to cause problems. He's completely protected from politics. If you think a Jeb / Hillary election would be following a plan, just imagine who Truman thinks he's voting for. And if he tries to adopt extremist policies, keep in mind that the political viewpoints of everyone "in existence" can be set-up for no reason other than influence Truman.

>it's a Truman has a nap for dinner episode
