A lot of Autistic kids grow up watching shitty japanese cartoons with American Dubs and have no other real social interaction so the pick up the vocal patterns of yanks.
I'd imagine there's something to do with the repetition of phrases contributing aswell and the autists drive to seem cool but complete ineptitude at achieving it.
It's fucking weird though desu, most of the autistic children at my school had American accents to some degree, mostly just twangs but it was annoying enough for me to vow never to travel to the united states because the sound of American voices is inextricably linked to Autism for me on an emotional level.
