Angel Ortiz
Schaub definitely has a better ground game.

It takes a real man to tap to strikes. Bravery and courage are needed to tap to strikes in front of everyone and not just that, but also to own those taps; not try to hide them or be ashamed of them. It takes true guts and men who can tap to strikes in front of the whole world and stand up and say "Yeah, I tapped to strikes," have my respect.

It doesn’t bother me, and the answer is Chael Sonnen.

>A lot of what [Dana White] says is inconsistencies but I don’t want to take it apart piece by piece. What’s really happening is the UFC is cratering. You look at the ratings they’re getting and you look at their pay-per-view business, which is way down. Why? Because they don’t have the marquee stars that they had before. Because the UFC model is to keep the money for itself and not pay the fighters the way people in boxing pay the fighters, which is a major part of the revenue. So really, he has a real problem getting a deal that will justify the $4.5 billion price that they sold UFC for and neither FOX or anyone else will come close to that price.
>You see, a lot of business is built on myths. You’ve heard the myths for years and in fact he repeats it, that UFC caters to a much younger audience than boxing. We looked at the numbers and when fights were on HBO and SHOWTIME, he was correct. That the audience skewed old, but that wasn’t because the sport, it was because young people couldn’t afford the monthly fee required for HBO and SHOWTIME. When we went to ESPN where their wasn’t a monthly fee, we were blown away. We were up against [the UFC]. Not only did we do many more people, but in the age demographic 18-35 and then 18-49, we did two-and-a-half times the number that they did on their programming. […] Once we were free television on ESPN against their free television on FOX and FS1, it was no contest.

I was just looking through some records and i just noticed this, TJ consistantly throughtout his career has won 4 fights then lost 1
He's currently on a 3 fight winning streak therefore he is guaranteed to win his next fight and then lose the one afterwards. So if he does fight DJ then beat the house on the Snake winning and then losing in his first title defence back at 135lbs
Hunter Nelson
Zabit magomedsharipov

Cruz wins by out thinking his opponents, you cant out think someone who doesnt think

Lol Cruz lost because Garbrandt was way faster than him. He was swinging at air the whole fight

Zachary Reed

Isaac Walker
>early stoppages I cant find the webm but he was completely out of it against Dodson
Ian Bell
cyborg terrified of nunes? sounds like she'd rather beat up some nobody soccer moms to ride out her contract than get heemed by someone closer to her skillset
Ok so I pulled it up and maybe the stoppage wasnt as early ad I thought. Then again, Dillashaw was rocked by Garbrandt and came back to win that fight so you never know.
Luke Butler
>TJ losing to le midget nigger DJ If that happens I'm gonna heem DJ myself
Nicholas Perry
True he did, he was a shit tier striker back when he faced Dodson though. He would have probably just been heem'd later that round had it not been stopped then
Andrew Morris

Khabib would beat Conor Conor would beat Tony Tony would beat Khabib
If you disagree with this you are a casual
William Mitchell
>Tony would beat Khabib
Henry Kelly
Conor's got shit takedown defence - easy for Khabib.
Tony is a black belt in jewish jitsu - He's a natural blockade to Khabib's main weapon. Tony's a better striker = Tony victory.
Xavier Cruz
Joanna has some growing up to do. Rose is going to get bashed by the Brazilian ladies thugh

Shit on Cody all you want, he is still my boy.

conor's training and he's actively posting it on social media combine this with dana's comments on how he'll be stripped if he doesn't fight by march (i know dana's a lying pos but whatever) based on this i'm going with conor fighting before the summer may at the latest now the question is: who does he fight: khabib or tony? tony has the interim belt but he got it by defeating the no. 7 of the division khabib just had a dominant performance against the no. 3 (or 4, i forgot) tony has the belt so i suppose you have to unify the belts but then again, i don't think a fight against khabib is unsellable because he just came off a massive win against a higher ranked contender either way, conor is back lads
Ethan Hall
it doesnt make sense for him not to fight tony
Sebastian White
Oh for sure Khabib cant deal with BJJ guys with good striking, for sure RDA destroyed Khabib when they fought my guy
Carter Powell
Barboza would heem Conor
Asher Martin
rose should have used STEROIDS like claudia and jessica for 10 years and reaped all the benefits before USADA kicked in
rose is a DECENT person though, NOT A CHEATER!
Oliver Mitchell
obviously he should fight Tony but we all know the rules don't apply to Goobs. I wouldn't even be surprised if he defended against Kebab because he's more well known than Tony. That said, Tony is certainly an easier fight for Goobs
Evan Flores
Is tj dillashaw the most athletic fighter ever to have lived?
Justin Bennett
I really dont get "tony won his belt against the seventh best in the division" argument when Lee was the highest ranked guy available to fight at the time of 216
Juan Sanders
Heeminder that this guy is in heem 18 hours every day. This is who you share heem with
Blake Wood
2018 RDA would submit Khalabeeb in 2 rounds.
Grayson Collins
fair enough i just used that argument to demonstrate that a fight against khabib wouldn't be completely unfair because he had a very dominant performance against a higher ranked fighter i actually think a fight against khabib would be a tougher matchup for conor than a fight against tony
Jordan Gonzalez
>Conor is back Actually believing this

Who do you think Dana considers more of a rival, Bellator or Boxing?
Connor Gomez
>tfw you realise that pro-Tony arguments against Khabib are literally "awkward angles my man"-tier
Nicholas Cooper
He's literally a black belt so no and has multiple sub wins, so no, it isn't The equivalent would be Conor having some notable Boxing accolades
Lucas Gonzalez
shouldn't you be getting doland re-elected?
Noah Sullivan
No but you could argue he has the best footwork in the current UFC. Btw are you actually from Ghana?
Isaac Smith
and more it's really happening burgerbro
Aiden Taylor
Miocic vs Ngannou is the ultimate black vs white fight, imagine the shitposting, can't wait!
Landon Cooper
>He's literally a black belt so no and has multiple sub wins, so no, it isn't And he's a good black belt. Khabib, however, mauled people with greater achievements. He's also not just a GNP guy, he has world class grappling skills and to think that he'll get from under Khabib just as easy as he did from Kevin would be an illusion he'll have to part with.
Kevin Cook

You're just too dumb to elaborate an actual argument. It's fine.
Zachary King
anyone has the webm of thug rose mauling the shit out of paige vanzant?
Nathan Turner
>mauled people with greater achievements. Like who? Tibau has a black belt, Khabib didn't maul him, though we know why. RDA has a black belt, Khabib did maul him, but his GnP wasn't as devastating and when they actually got to the ground RDA fared better than a lot of Khabib's other opponents. Tony probably has more sub wins than RDA, and when you watch him fight he really does lock on tricky submissions. I'm not saying Tony will win, but it's not equivalent to "angles my guy" at all. Tony also has a wrestling background, I think he'll prepare different for Khabib than Lee
That's why I really, really want Khabib/Tony. More than Khabib/Conor or Tony/Conor. From an MMA standpoint it's ridiculously interesting. Can Khabib impose his will on someone like Tony, with his 10th planet BJJ and extensive ground work? He's smashed Horcher, MJ and Barboza recently, and while it's really not like they're shit or anything, they're not as well versed in the ground game
