Recommend me a comfy episode
Recommend me a comfy episode
am i imagine it or does ryker have a clone?
Anything with Q in the title
...
He does, transporter accident. Could not get along. Fucked Troi.
Shades of Gray. It's a comfy little clipshow with an undeserved bad rap.
Deja Q :-)
conundrum or the one where they rip off edge of tomorrow
I assume that you're joking, but ever since seeing some contrarian sing the praises of Sub Rosa, I can't be sure anymore.
A taste of armageddon
Shades of Gray is actually an excellent episode iff you haven't seen the episodes it's made out of immediately beforehand.
For a first-time voyage into TNG, Shades of Gray is an entertaining little episode.
If you haven't seen TNG in a while, Shades of Gray is a fun, efficient way to get a broad feel of the early seasons without having to waste too much time watching episodes.
If you tend to monolithically watch Star Trek, then it's a bad episode.
And no, my friend -- I never joke.
Data's Day
The one that starts out with Troi and The Doc working out.
Uhhh, the "Snare" episode
Ummmm, Capt's Holiday
The Inner Light
The Royale
Sub Rosa is great. A simple comfy fun episode.
Hating it is a meme
That one episode about metamorphs.
>crusher gets fingered by an invisible candle alien that has diddled all her ancestors
>comfy
Nice meme, can I save it?
This. Nice and simple, get trapped and play craps to get out.
>classic star trek adventure
>not comfy
Let me guess, DS9 is your favourite Trek
>Scot planet
>sexy ghosts
>Beverly "zero personality" Crusher is main focus
Let me guess, anytime that somebody disagrees with you, it's just a meme.
And if they like Star Trek differently than you do, then they're not a "real" Star Trek fan.
You're the author of , aren't you?
Elementary Dear Data
Fuck it, any Geordi/Data episode is comfy as fuck.
Nope, that's me. And DS9 is my favorite TV show, but not my favorite Trek.
Nope, sorry. There are multiple people calling you out.
It's not about liking it differently, it's about being wrong or right
Most holodeck episodes in both TNG and DS9 are pretty comfy
...
The one where they're turned into kids
premium comfort
I wish we would have gotten to see the holosuite adventures of Bashir and O'Brien in greater detail.
>No episode devoted to the battle of the Alamo that O'Brien created in the holosuite
>Malfunction occurs, the mexican army invades DS9
>Sisko and the crew fight them back
Bullshit.
>if you hate Sub Rosa you hate Star Trek
Sorry, I guess you're the only REAL fan here, the rest of us are just fake fakers faking our love for Star Trek, so that we can hang out with someone cool like you.
you seem gay
It's ok not liking it but not autistically hate it for no reason other than "lol it's stupid" when it's actually quintessential star trek and way more in tune with the original vision than any random episode of Deep Soap Opera 9
It's comfy it you don't mind sending 10 minutes crying
>the "if you hate Sub Rosa then you hate Star Trek" shitposter
>the "if you like DS9 then you hate Star Trek" shitposter
>they turn out to be the same person
Was anybody surprised?
Anybody?
Family is a comfy episode, especially after watching Best of Both Worlds.
You also get some feels
>anyone that share opinions is the same person
Nope, one of those is me but not the other.
Sorry, you're not the gatekeeper of Trekdom.
Thankfully DS9 avoided holomalfunctions, for the most part. I think Our Man Bashir might be the only one in the series.
>Sorry, you're not the gatekeeper of Trekdom.
I never tried to be. I never claimed that anybody hates Star Trek if their tastes don't match mine. That's what you do, that's who you try to be.
I am the one that said that and it's a fair assumption.
If you hate a episode which has all the basic traits and elements of what Star Trek should be it's a fair assumption to say that you hate Star Trek.
Even more so if they think DS9 is the best Trek too
So you're the gatekeeper of Trekdom. Good to know.
Someone has to be
It's only established fact that YOU aren't
just watch all of season 2 so you can watch the measure of a man
So I'm supposed to like everything with Star Trek elements even when it's execution is abysmal?
>Troi: "I was raped by my own baby!"
>Sup Forums: "Wow, quality television!"
It's not about liking, that's a personal preference, it's about appreciating and respecting things.
If the Gatekeeper of Trekdom wills it, then so shall it be.
So I'm supposed to appreciate and respect everything with Star Trek elements even when it's execution is abysmal?
>Crusher: "I was raped by my grandmother's candle!"
>Sup Forums: "Wow, quality television!"
Do what you will, just remember that complaining about episodes like Sub Rosa only shows that you are not a real fan who probably hates TOS too
>inb4 I can be a Trek fan even if I hate TOS/TNG/VOY/ENT and only like DS9!
part of the beauty of the measure of a man is the build up to it throughout the season
Wolf in the Fold is the quintessential Star Trek episode in my opinion.
Sub Rosa is just a piece of shit.
he also had a clone in "Up the Long Ladder" but he aborted/murdered it with a phaser
...
You can do what you will as well.
I don't like Sub Rosa, but I do like Star Trek. All the series. Even Voyager.
I'm going to keep watching Star Trek, I'm going to keep enjoying Star Trek, and I'm going to keep discussing Star Trek in /trek/ threads, no matter how many times you insist that I'm not a real fan.
Just admit you hate Crusher and all women probably
You can, but deep down you will always be wrong.
Crusher was a really weak character.
Deep down, you will always be powerless to stop me from loving Star Trek. But go ahead and try. Do as you will.
>I don't like Sub Rosa
>I do like Star Trek
pick one
Nah, I am fine. I am Star Trek fan so I don't force my opinion on others, maybe you do since you are a DS9 fan.
...
braaaaaaaap
Why isn't Deanna in the mirror?
Watch TNG again, but this time with the understanding that Troi isn't real.
Wrong, the mirror was actually a ghost who only had eyes for Crusher.
