U.S Military

Welp I just got fired from my office job and am now considering the military.

What is a good red pilled branch of the military where a neet can actually make something of himself?

USMC

I'm a pussyfaggot though...

dont join because you feel lost. airforce is easy peasy, marines are the fighters, army is probably best for future credentials, navy is just like a job at sea but youll get to travel.

join the navy, training is easy peasy and traveling is wonderful, my older bro traveled to Brazil for some war games.

Boy Scouts

...

Navy nuke program or nothing

>airforce is easy peasy
Yeah physically, gradewise not so much. Military prospectives don't usually have the grades for it.

...

Nice....dubs

What do you mean by this?

a friend of mine is stationed at incirlik. he isnt the brightest but he made good buddies that probably helped him out some.

11-B
Do it fagget. 360 noscope jihadis while rushing buildings and post pics.
Don't worry about being a pussy. once you see your bros die you will want to fight for their honor.

Go 03 in the Marine Corps. Heard from my buddy that is a crew chief on CH-53s that they are becoming cucked. Got out two years ago so didn't deal with the political correctness that is occurring now because of the politicians. Stay 03 and you'll be good.

Army Aviation.

Turns out the university I'm applying for is the one General Mattis went to. It was pretty based from what I saw today. Trump signs everywhere. People smoking in front of no smoking signs. 10/10 experience

I've been thinking about this a lot lately , if I ever found myself in a war I'd be want be with the best imo

Coast Guard or Airforce or Navy....Literally any branch without infantry

If you're stem smart go air force, if you want to smell charred flesh marines.

Is the Corps. itself becoming PC or is it just some sort of bureaucracy?

Airforce has security personnel.
>Literally infantry.

I've been thinking of becoming a Navy Corpsman, and getting into the medical field. Anyone know if the Navy is getting super cucked? Ideally I'd like to go greenside and be around based 03xx marines

Lmfao those guys think they are so highspeed kekekeke

Every Branch has infantry

Well when the ruling came out that women could be allowed tryouts for any combat job, the USMC boosted their physical standard even higher to spite it. So I wouldn't say the USMC is getting cucked as of right now. If Shillary gets elected things could change tho

No....Sec personnel dont count kek

They literally do though. Just because they are faggots doesnt change their role

Jesus christ you made me blow air out my nose. Fine ill let you count them as """infantry""". Either way those three branches are your best bet based on two things: Low PT reqs and (for airforce and navy) a lot of nerd shit.

What is youe definition of infantry

this. if you can get into the 160th you'll be a bad ass mother fucker.

What would you like to do or what interests you? Pick that. I'd say navy or air force

Fuck you phone

Don't do it user, it probably sounds cool but you will be signing away years of your freedom for shit tier pay.

If you must join though strive to be an officer by way of ROTC or OCS

Dunno bout the red pill, but in the Coast Guard, you can advance in rank faster.

Corpsman have the worst advancement rate. Go aviation. Just be good at math.

I have also even pondering joining up, only real concern is will I get time to play footy and vidya still o_o

>easy peasy-mind

If you join Airforce or Navy you will have tons of downtime yo

>11bang bang
>the grunting sub100iq cave men of the army

yes, user do this.

Dubs of truth. Corpsman is fun and has so many c school opportunities.

>o.o
Yes. Plus, don't ask don't tell has long been abolished so you're fine.

lol I would never join the military. Fuck that shit.

You lose all your constitutional rights in the military. You can't refuse a search. You can't wear the clothes that you want.

You get bossed around like a little bitch.

Just find another office job, bro. Should be easy since you have experience.

well i hear in the navy you have a lot of chance of over your service and get very good jobs after, cause they teach a lot about engines nuclear reactors and heavy machinery.

Thanks, might not be a bad choice since that's all I do and am still in pretty good shape from playing football almost everyday. Only thing is in 29 now so Air Force is out of the pic but in the navy will I get to travel a lot o_o??

I see a dude walking around base every day wearing leather and a dog collar. The military ain't the way it used to be. Plus, marine corps bases are usually the only strict ones, and most of it is directed towards boots.

Depends on your rate/station.

Don't go 03.

That shit is for retards who want literally no skill when they have to get out. Good like finding a job when all you know how to do is fire a machine gun. Join any branch and go cyber network operator or cyber security tech.

My buddy went to South Carolina or some shit for nuke school so id say yeah.

Enlist or ROTC for Army Special Forces?

Follow your dreams.

And physical ability

>Dieing for Israel
Join the Coast Guard

Air force police

Nah bro. This is like some cav scout homo shit where you're "basically infantry". The skill set might be similar but there's a totally different mindset. I had a knife fight with a camel spider to get to a broken filterless marb red that had been tucked into the corner of a remote Afghan OP. Security faggots weep when the PX is out of newports.

Go back to school if you don't have a bachelors degree already then join any of the branches to automatically become an officer

Don't be a grunt, give the orders not take them

Im sayin fuck it and reenlisting as a line medic

Jesus who ever said anything about dieing? You dont have to let a sandnigger kill you.

God these always get me and remind me of the hillary quote about women suffering more than men.

> what is The Navy

>Watching Generation Kill
>Supposed to portray how pointless and inept the modern US Military is
>Just makes me wanna join the USMC

What do

He means he wants you to commit suicide.
Nuke school has the highest drop out and suicide rates of any part of the armed forces training. And that's before they shove you into a tin can that is isolated from the world for months at a time while you spend time with nuclear reactors eating tinned food and sleeping in a bed shared by two others and rarely showering.

Anyone who has the dolphins is a crazy motherfucker who deserves respect. The nuke guys though, they're a breed of their own.

Buddy of mine just graduated nuke school actually

Listen right now asshole. Air Force. Air Force. Air Force. Asvab easy as fuck, if you don't get over 92 kill yourself. Better not have a criminal history at all. Basic is easy, just pay attention, don't nod off in class, don't be a retard, don't be the best or the worst. If you get 92 on your asvab you can do anything in the AF basically. Some jobs come with signing bonuses, there is a reason for that, don't take the retard bait. Do something good like helicopter or plane mechanic. Do some courses while you're out of basic and tech school and settled at your first base. It's really not a lot. Make a plan, stick with it, stay disciplined. Don't fuck dirty ass sluts, use good judgment, but don't waste a lot of time on women anyway. Just bust your ass for 4-6 years and you can get a job working for a dod contractor. War is always in business.

Don't listen to fucking morons saying anything else. Army is for niggers and white trash, Marines are for retards and "muh tradition". Navy is def 2nd best, but fuck being on a ship. As an airman, you will have the highest standard of living. You will actually get paid EXTRA to lower your standard of living by bunking with Marines or soldiers. They can talk all the chair force shit they want, they have nigger tier standards of living, air force stays at the Holiday Inn.

This is assuming you aren't a retard. You said you're a pussy before so I'm assuming you're at least moderately intelligent hopefully.

Ensign in the Navy here, just graduated college and commissioned. Life is fucking great. I head to flight school in November. In the mean time, I work 9-2, work out, play a bunch of video games, and drink a lot. No regrets.

"Security forces" literally, not Infantry.

This. 1a8x1 in monterey and can confirm.
Life in the air force is great

No.

But I can see how a civvie might think that.

That fucking salute...

This.

I'm army and even we know that submarines are lunatics.

air force is filled with gay evangelistas
you love them jesus freaks right

Coasties... get to go sailing sweet stuff.

>Basing decisions on branch
>Not on your occupation choices.
Your decisions should be on what you do in the military, not where you do it. Although it is smart to try and limit stupid shit.

Cool guy shit is for special forces, or branch equivalent, you'll rarely see it outside so don't do infantry, MP, or security shit. Stick to technical stuff like Medic, mechanics, or computer guy stuff.

Lets say I was planning on going into medical field but want to have my student loans forgiven for enlisting for 4-6 years Where would be a good place to start looking?

Army here. If you're a complete shit ass with a low IQ and a fucking sow with litter in tow then by all means join the military. If you're a dumbass - join the Marines; if you're just dumb, join the Army; if you're kinda smart and gay, join the Navy; if you're really smart and really gay, join the Air Force. Coast guard ? Dunno what the fuck that is.

If you're smart and have a degree > commission as an officer in any branch. By all means do not make the fucking mistake of enlisting with a bachelors and then becoming so cynical and traumatized with homicidal thoughts of offing your nco's and o's while on deployment of shitholistan, because the mfs treat you like the little bitchass e4 you are. "Sgt, I wanna be an officer!" -good fuckin luck with that.

Has anyone here successfully done ocs after college route? I am about to graduate with good gpa bs in math. Thinking muhreens ATM. I want to be an leader of men and a badass ect. What do i do now to be successful in leadership portion of the application?

I have the option to go to West Point, should I consider it or is it a liberal arts degree

What's your rate, sailor?

go to westpoint

what if you have an associates degree?

you like being hazed right you little cunt
you like being someone's bitch to larn you discipline
they stab you with the pins
will you ever sleep
how strategy-minded are you anyway
if you have to ask you probably are too stupid to become officer material and should just work at mcdonals

I can say I'm decently smart in the top of my class, the only games I play now are strats. Thought considered joining but private sector engineering would yeild more cash

>Be an officer in any branch
>war with x 3rd world country
>nothing changes

cant you major in engineering from westpoint

One of my good buddies was an SP. Fuck you kind of?

Like this user said
Chairforce is alright, their smart and the most privilaged branch
Marines spearhead attacks and get the most action/combat experience
Army are pretty much just a bunch of people on guard duty (and btw is the dumbest branch)
Navy is the most Diverse and most skillful branch imo.
You have Personnel Specialist, YN which are Admin people (those two rates for people who like paperwork)
Hm for medical
IT for computers and SATCOM (my rate)
CTN for ethical hacking
ETs for eletronics and repair.
DC for fireman stuff

Plus u cant deny free travel to different ports. I will say don't go in expecting GREAT pay (That doesn't kick in until you hit E-4 with 4 years or E-5 due to BAH) Currently raking in about 5k a month after taxes in San Diego as an E-5 with 4 years

best branch

Army will get you where you want to go in life of you apply yourself. We aren't doing too much right now though.

I recently turned 18 and am seriously considering doing a few years in the Air Force to improve myself mentally and physically. I'd like to ask a few questions and get some advice from someone in the military.

1. In your opinion, should I attend college during or after my service? In case it's relevant, I have a 3.8 GPA and pretty mediocre physical strength.
2. Do I need a perfect mental health history? I've been diagnosed with mild ADD and depression, but I don't think it hinders me much at all.
3. Do I need perfect eyesight? I don't plan on being a pilot and I'm open to doing a non-traditional role in the air force. I've heard you can be a physician or dentist.

In advance, I appreciate any info you can give me. The way I see it, I have around 5 years to figure out what I want to do with myself and any basic advice is helpful and will be considered.

Bump, pls respond

this question is best answered at

Alot of /k/ommrades have been in the military

got a buddy leaving for SEAL training soon

opinions?

They'll make you a man or you'll die.

Literally, the real pussies in all the units I've been in have tried some serious suicide attempts or almost got killed for being stupid.

Despite the memes, if you make through an enlistment in a combat MOS without becoming an edgelord, you can take anything on

Marinefag (infantry) here.

Its all shit and everything is run by pencil pushers who havent ever actually worked a day in thier lives.

You can literally have the enemy right fucking there and not be allowed to fire because if you get into a firefight it might end up on the news and a certain president with an *ahem* "winning complexion" would be forced to admit that despit campaign promises we still have over 10,000 people in afghanistan.

Or the fact that we are training and equipping islamic militia groups with shady ties who pretty much dont even try to hide that as soon as ISIS is gone they are going to fight us next.

Its all fuckin horse shit, been to afghan twice, just got back from iraq. 27 sustained firefights, 37 instances of taking enemy fire, had 3 vehicles blown out from under me, and none of it fucking meant shit.

I went on a deployment with the grunts last year and they still seemed pretty based. I didn't want to be a boot in that company and I was a boot tracker for that deployment.

As for my MOS, trackers is still pretty based and we build the characters of our boots and Marines so that they can deal with the shit when they face it.

There will always be real bastards in our kine of work to make men out of the boots, I'm not too worried about the PC wave we're going through.

We've survived worse

tell him to enjoy being able to not dribble liquid shit whenever he walks around, because he won't that luxury after they're done with him
t. ex RANSS sailor

this, people are a lot stronger than they think they are and only the weakest faggots completely break under military pressure

the intent is to break you down and build you back up again stronger, and the further you get in into training the more they put stress on you psychologically

for the most part your physical strength doesn't matter (i mean, you have to be able to do your job and all but it's easy to remain at that level), but your mental strength does. they don't want faggots breaking in the middle of combat and offing themselves

that don't make sense m8

C'mon user, if some bimbo slut can join the marines, you can too!

>women being allowed in combat roles
>faggots being allowed to be faggots
>trannies being allowed in
It sucks to see the military turn into one big social experiment.

78 on asvab
Want to jump out airplanes, but want a decent job if I decide to not go career enlisted what do?

Currently talking to recruiter for army should have been in there some where

I was going to go into the Army as a computer forensics officer for the CID a few months ago.

I'm halted all my plans until I know for a fact who is going to run the country.

I'm definitely not going to serve under a Hilary occupation, and I might with Trump just to see how things go.

I would check out all your options to see what is open to you. But it's generally ranked as
>Airforce
>Navy
>Army
>Marines

If you like combat, marines. All marines are trained to handle combat, does not matter what the job is. Pretty much brain dead stuff, avionics is a good path.

If you like having a structured schedule, are more book smart and don't want a real depthy combat job, Airforce. It's notoriously hard to get rank.

If you want a mix from combat and a guaranteed job, Army. Army has a lot of pride, they have more jobs available and don't require high asvab scores to qualify.

Navy is for people who like water and sea. Most jobs that are becoming open are labor type jobs. You do have the choice of working on different vessels too. But depending on the job you can work either at sea or stationed on land. Many jobs require high asvab and entry testing to get. Navy does see combat in special combat units. Mostly killing pirates and stuff.

I would mention coast guard but the qualifications are pretty rigorous and they are such a small minority.

I would recommend going into every branch and having them print you a list of jobs you qualify for. Then research them. Don't rely on the branches website either.

I got stuck with a horrible job in the marines at MEPS and I refused it.

Is there any future for a doctor in the army? Finishing my degree in general medicine in 3 years and thought about joining so I can explore shitholes and get some fun before settling in.
