Of course, we'll probably see a repeat of 1996, where NZF were expected to go with Labour to oust a National government, but went into coalition in exchange for Deputy PM and other cabinet positions.
It'd tank the NZF vote considerably, but Winston's pretty much at the end of his career, and I wouldn't put it past him to go out with a bang like that.
