What leads a girl to use 私、うち or あたし?
Likewise, what leads a boy to use 私、僕 or 俺?
Is is the place their grow up in? Their parents? The culture?
Does a boy suddenly stop using 僕 in their teen years and just swap over to 俺 or something like that?

Actually, it's really confusing. The other business (which makes sweets and runs tea shops), on their logo and sign, uses the old-form as well. Even their logo is quite similar. Meanwhile, the one that makes the cloth (the famous one) has the old-form on the logo but on their web-page is using the new-form.
Maybe a Jap can explain properly.
