You know what's wrong? It's not just that the actin is bad, because much of the acting in Power Rangers is bad. It's only a few standouts that aren't like RPM and half of Time Force that are decent.
But the old series are ya know, old. MMPR looks like it was filmed on a VHS tape, it's incredibly 90s, etc. So it doesn't really stand out that the acting is mostly naff.
But this is in HD, in 2011 or 2012 or when this one is from, and for some reason it all just stands out starkly.
It doesn't help that everyone is bordering on Vypra levels en masse though, it's some of the worst we've seen in the franchise.
