To me, kino is any mo or that you consciously know is not very good but you still enjoy it.
This could be for several reasons. Maybe the cinematography is good. Maybe the action is cool. Maybe the movie is just fun.
I also reserve the word kino for lower budget movies. Big budget flops can still be fun but I rarely consider them kino.
