Yeah, I know. Fuck these niggers, right?

Who do you think they'll go after next?

no one because these cases will be thrown out. what do they intend to charge them with? Saying you intend to arrest people and actually being able to charge them with something are two different things.

Arresting people, without a clear path to prosecution is pretty fucked up. It is police intimidation and is against the first amendment. ACLU is going to wreck police departments that do this shit.

Shit like this, actual infringement of rights, is what drives people to support BLM.

difference being these guys won't see one minute in jail because of this as the warrants will never be issued

user, for some people just the threat of being jailed overnight will be more than enough to keep them from voicing an opinion. Even if you beat the case, there's the stigma of the charge on your record. And even if it's only for a few days, the threat of being incarcerated with the dregs of society is anathema to most pussified 'normie' millenials.

>FOUR MEN IN Detroit were arrested over the past week for posts on social media that the police chief called threatening.

Did you read the article? They're already arresting people without charging them. It's intimidation , pure and simple. You can be held up to 96 hours without being charged if they deem the offense serious enough. They can hold you up to 14 days without charges under some obscure 'terror' statute, which is obviously where this is headed.

>The police can hold you for up to 24 hours before they have to charge you with a crime or release you. They can apply to hold you for up to 36 or 96 hours if you're suspected of a serious crime, eg murder. You can be held without charge for up to 14 days If you're arrested under the Terrorism Act.

>“I know this is a new issue, but I want these people charged with crimes,” said Detroit Police Chief James Craig. “I’ve directed my officers to prepare warrants for these four individuals, and we’ll see which venue is the best to pursue charges,” he added.

Police Chief is a dumbass. Admitted that he was arresting them before charges. The case will be dropped and hopefully he'll be fired and sued.

This actually pisses me off alot.

This. Very well put, user.

Well I fucked that up but whatever. Not like anyone's paying attention. Must be a hunger games thread up or a bunch of cookie-cutter botposts up. When they start arresting people for shitposting in Youtube comments, don't say you weren't warned.

Fucking Intercept and Greenwald really thought they had something with the Snowden shit. Probably thought they'd wake some people up. Guess they didn't realize that America lives her sleep.

Maybe people will wake up when the jackboots kick their fucking doors in. By then it will be too late, and they'll deserve whatever fate befalls them.

>You can be held without charge for up to 14 days If you're arrested under the Terrorism Act.

That's just the tip of the iceberg, anons, since Obama signed the NDAA they can detain you for the rest of your life based on accusations or suspicions without due process and torture you to death. All legally sanctioned

Right? If you were to paraphrase this guy, it's basically, "Yeah, we put them in cuffs and sooner or later we'll figure out something to charge them with. Or maybe we won't; either way they'll know not to run their mouths".

Thanks. I just honestly don't see how this isn't a bigger issue right now. There are highly intelligent people who's voices we need for legitimacy that will clam up in fear of false imprisonment and the very real fear of consequences that accompany a bullshit unconstitutional arrest.

Pretty normal to arrest before deciding what charges to lay

Calling for cops to be killed is now just "criticism?"

...

The police said they found them "threatening". I'm not one for sticking up for cops, especially yours, but some of the shit that was said was posted on Sup Forums and there were people calling for more cop blood.

I doubt the people arrested were merely "criticizing" your fat, retard police.

Calling a cop killer a hero is an opinion and a criticism of the police and so is saying "I would shoot them if they are going to shoot me". Kind of like when stormtroopers here call Hitler a hero it isn't exactly calling for Jews to be killed. Some of the other cases were real threats calling for killing cops, but this article focused on those who simply were talking shit.

Talk shit get hit

Exactly the same case than Deutschland. A handful of retarded people get arrested and you claim the collapse of the democracy.

Of the examples cited in the article, I only saw one that could be considered a legitimate threat. From our perspective, they're all assholes. That said, there is that pesky Constitution that the left is doing it's damndest to eradicate with the help from useful idiots 'on the other side of the aisle'.

A guy got arrested for saying the Dallas sniper was a "hero". I heard a lot of people calling Dylann Roof and Adolf Hitler the same thing. Should all those fucks be arrested to? Because that's where it's going.

Some black bitch got arrested for saying she would blast a cop that pulled her over because they would do the same to her. That is not a specific threat, and as abhorrent as it may be, it is your Constitutionally guaranteed right to say it (for now, at least).

The last guy arrested in the article supposedly threatened a police station. Not enough info, but considering the threat was made on 'undisclosed social media', I might take it easy with the "Some of you guys are alright" shitposts on 4clams for a minute.

It's all fun and games when a nog says "Fuck tha Police" and "Kill Trump" and gets arrested, but don't be surprised when you hear a knock on your door after saying "Gas the Kikes, race war now".

It's coming.

Remember, user

>A handful of retarded people get arrested

A handful of retarded people get arrested for exercising their constitutionally guaranteed rights as Americans. Ftfy Frenchie.

They start with arresting 'subversives' to garner support for fucking people over. Since time immemorial this is how it has started.

Those who don't know their history are doomed to repeat it. Wake up.

AM I BEING DETAINED?

What is that supposed to convey? Explain as if to a child. I assume it means a citizenry is better off being left in the dark, but I'm not exactly sure why or what relevance it has to the thread.

>fired and sued

do you have any idea what a police union is?

...

Your an idiot 5 cops got shot it is time for lynch factory

soundcloud.com/couchtruthing/lynch-factory

Thank you for your invaluable contributions. Do you realize that the right to free speech is slowly being eroded in the United States? Do you care? Most likely I assume you lack the courage of your convictions to speak the truth when said truth gets dangerous.

Unless a bona fide libertarian gets elected with a libertarian congress alongside him, this will literally never change and the only way to solve it is through means of force.

Read the work of George Orwell. People act as if he was some sort of prophet, but he had simply observed politics in Nazism and Communism, and national Republics and realized how they operate by deception disinformation lies and propaganda. Then he projected it into the future in novels like 1984, which actually might barely scratch the surface of what we will see when technology we never anticipated comes to rule our lives under these systems.

What a credible source OP! Thank you for contributing to this board! I'll be looking forward to more posts by you

...

Honestly one of the scariest things I've ever come across here.

Nice job throughout this thread OP.

Scarred little piggies.

Fuck it. Giving up on this thread, but one last thing; do any of you think a night in two in jail will at all prevent some nog from speaking his 'mind'? Fuck no; most likely it will be a badge of honor for him and all the ither apes on the block will consider him a righteous brother. And what dies he give a fuck about jail? Big deal.

Now picture a white kid in his early 20's with a clean slate in front of him and the world on a platter. Do you really think he will risk his future to speak the truth about crime statistics, affirmative action, police shootings, and the dangers of unchecked immigration?

Not happening. I'm fairly certain even the dumbest multiple-felon monkey can turn a 'hate speech' arrest into something noble for the Wendy's interviewer, but something tells me whitey may be fucked trying to explain away the same charge while interviewing for a 6-figure gig.

If this precedent holds, White people will continue to not speak out for fear if retribution and the mouth that gets fed will be the one that never shuts the fuck up.

We're losing and no one cares.

>every single person mentioned in the article threatened the life of another person specifically and credibley
If you think threatening to kill someone, or inciting others to do so, is "free speech", you do not deserve to live in a free and open society.

If you care so much, then stop being a passive aggressive little bitch on the internet and go outside and do something. Start a movement. Bomb some Feds. Do something besides bitching that a bunch of autistic basement dwellers on a Mongolian calligraphy appreciation forum aren't doing the work for you.

>waaaaah, mean words!!!
>>>tumblr

Thanks man. I honestly thought people would be a lot more freaked out here, but I guess we share a board with kids that will just drop the vitriol once they're told it's not permitted anymore.

No biggie, right?

You're a fucking imbecile. Calling someone a nigger or cracker is mean words covered by free speech. Unambiguously threatening to kill someone is not protected speech by any stretch of the imagination.

I hope they burn first.

>you do not deserve to live in a free and open society.

Wow you are fucking stupid. See my green text of your bullshit? It is far more a specific and credible threat than most the ones you are calling credible threats on a person's life. So I guess your words apply to you most.

Niggers fuck everyone over again.

>threaten to kill cops
>call to action on killing whites

>thought police
yeah nah, shitcunt

>Jews fuck everyone over again.

Fix, black as always are just pawns of the yids

dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2913625/Billionaire-George-Soros-spent-33MILLION-bankrolling-Ferguson-demonstrators-create-echo-chamber-drive-national-protests.html

It isn't a threat in any form. Again, you're just an imbecile.

I mean that seriously. Democracy is only for intelligent, rational people. Fagtards like you should not be permitted to vote or reproduce.

Threatening to incite violence is not protected speech. Like I can't say that I will shoot up the police and expect not to get arrested. This is far different than getting arrested for hurting someones feeling, Germany.

>It isn't a threat in any form
Well calling that shooter a hero is way less of a threat than your statement, you democrat. Your statement was more in the form of a threat, which I don't think it really was, but obviously you are too stupid to be consistent in your logic.

>Land of the Free...
>have the highest per capita incarceration rate in the world.

>criticizing

You mean talking about how they wish they could have killed cops too, or something like that

wtf I hate BLM but this is just not right

From the article:

>Last weekend in Connecticut, police arrested Kurt Vanzuuk after a tip for posts on Facebook that identified Johnson as a hero and called for police to be killed. He was charged with inciting injury to persons or property.

>An Illinois woman, Jenesis Reynolds, was arrested for writing in a Facebook post that she would shoot an officer who would pull her over. “I have no problem shooting a cop for simple traffic stop cuz they’d have no problem doing it to me,” she wrote, according to the police investigation. She was charged with disorderly conduct.

>In New Jersey, Rolando Medina was arrested and charged with cyber harassment. He allegedly posted on an unidentified social media platform that he would destroy local police headquarters. In Louisiana, Kemonte Gilmore was arrested for an online video in which he allegedly threatened a police officer. He was charged with public intimidation.

Making specific threats like these is against the law. This is not 'criticizing cops', this is making terroristic threats. Nothing to see here, OP and article author confirmed for faggots.

>Last weekend in Connecticut, police arrested Kurt Vanzuuk after a tip for posts on Facebook that identified Johnson as a hero and called for police to be killed. He was charged with inciting injury to persons or property.

He simply stated an opinion that Johnson was a hero. That is not a threat at all. there is no incitement there either, just an opinion.

"I have no problems shooting cops" is an opinion, not a threat to act or attack anyone or inciting anyone else to act

OK, this is the guy that should be charged if he actually threatened cops and their headquarters.

>identified Johnson as a hero and called for police to be killed

Damn, somehow I missed that part about calling for cops to be killed. But the fact is calling the shooter a hero is not a threat and is irrelevant and protected by the 1st amendment, it just distracted me from reading that he allegedly did try inciting people to kill.

Orwell could not have anticipated the bottom up organized internet as a counterbalance to top down organized old world political systems. Had he known, he might have been more optimistic about the future.

>barely scratch the surface of what we will see when technology we never anticipated comes to rule our lives under these systems.
Read Huxley's Brave New World. There's a reason 1984 is required reading in American public education, but most have never heard of BNW.

you're literally retarded, I thought you were just baiting, but you are just mentally impaired

Turns out "criticism" and "terroristic threats" are not the same thing fuckwit. But good job reading only the headline like you're supposed to, goy.

Is it still? I thought it was removed in recent years from the 'required reading' in schools.

Speaking of thought police, Utah YES!
abcnews.com.co/utah-makes-pornography-illegal/

But it is undeniable that we are living in a miasma of Orwellian dishonest language and reality overwriting.

Fake and gay

Not sure.

But when I talk to peers about politics, there's one thing that always pops up regarding my red pill views. "What's the point even if it were true? The government is too powerful".

I strongly believe the required reading was a sort of red herring designed to instill in the public a fear of a particular totalitarian government while they slowly slip us into a different one. Also, a fear of defying the government itself, because IIRC the protag gets fucked in the end, instilling a defeatist mindset when we even think about going up against them. Both worlds are ruled by the powers that be with an iron fist, and its only the methods that are different. The similarities are no longer deniable, almost every scenario in the book exists in early stages of our society.

...

>"What's the point even if it were true? The government is too powerful".
You're on the verge of winning the point if you get them to admit this thought. Even admitting that they fear the power of the government is a revolution in thought for the average bluepilled normie.

I usually introduce the conversation by talking to normies at bars who do cocaine about what they think of the fact that the state has the right to throw them in jail for doing it.

You can't threaten people, stupid.

>>“I know this is a new issue, but I want these people charged with crimes,” said Detroit Police Chief James Craig. “I’ve directed my officers to prepare warrants for these four individuals, and we’ll see which venue is the best to pursue charges,” he added.

>theintercept.com/2016/07/12/after-dallas-shootings-police-arrest-people-for-criticizing-cops-on-facebook-and-twitter/

They made threats, nigger.

Like this: "Last weekend in Connecticut, police arrested Kurt Vanzuuk after a tip for posts on Facebook that identified Johnson as a hero and called for police to be killed. He was charged with inciting injury to persons or property."

The only real limitation on free speech in this country is if you make a threat of violence or personal harm to somebody.

You can CRITICIZE all you like. Now fuck off back to HuffPo and do so.

>actual infringement of rights

No. Fuck off.

>Shit like this, actual infringement of rights, is what drives people to support BLM.

Oh, oh, is this like when Muslims say "we are peaceful people, Islam is a religion of peace" BUT
"if you are mean to us we might radicalize and blow you up!"

Yeah, right, asshole.

>“Arresting people for speech is something we should be very careful about,” Bruce Schneier, security technologist at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, told The Intercept.
Gee, ya think?

lol

Threats and calls for violence are not legally protected by the 1st amendment.

Every one of those individuals made threats that police deemed credible.

The supreme court has already agreed upon this multiple times.

They use niggers as political tools. This isn't anything new.

you mean people got arrested for making specific threats to police?

if niggers weren't subhuman monkeys they would be more ambiguous with thier wording to the same effect.

The supreme court has found that advocating for violence against the state is protected speech. The only thing that isn't protected is inciting specific violence like "lets you and I go kill this person standing over there right now!"

This article is useless click bait. It doesn't even provide the content of the posts. It gives one excerpt from one post. I'm pretty sure the Detroit police chief and his department know this difference between inciting violence and criminal threats from free speech.

funny how a guy so well versed in manipulation fell for the "nationalism is le bad" meme.

the absence of nationalism has created a boundless playground for the elite, effectively making them all but immune to the people they manipulate. When China can now buy up our ports, roads, and media we've ceased being a country, but a flea market to the highest, most influential bidder.

If there's one police department in this country I trust to not operate as if the are the goon squad of some autocratic third world shithole, its the detroit metropolitan police.

He didn't love long enough to see the end point of the ideology he thought was going to "liberate" humanity.

Leftists think Orwell would have supported their current ideology, but then again they read things like 1984 and Animal Farm and think it applies directly, matter-of-factly, and may as well be a direct biography on Adolf Hitler.

That is how powerful the control on language currently is.

Helluvan ID m8

Agreed. I would like to see these people swing but you have to be an idiot to support the destruction of the first amendment.

In the US the rights you are born with are the rights you support for others, even if you fucking hate them.

Sup Forums in general will support the police state right up to the point they're knocking on your doors to take you in for your mandatory liberal re-education.

Then you'll realize the police are tools and they're not on your side just because they like to shoot blacks and arrest faggot protestors.

Sup Forums likes to complain about the elite and the jews that run the show from behind the curtain but then turn around and praise the very people who will be enforcing the elites will.

All in the name of being contrarian I guess.

This is how they've manipulated the conversation in a way that makes it difficult.

More and more White Americans are getting fed up with blacks and minorities in general, more so blacks I'd say than anyone else because of these ridiculous "movements" that are all being sponsored by Jews like George Soros.

So what do you do to capitalize on the anger? You start targeting the very Amendment that most White Americans would die to defend.

Glenn (((Greenwald)))'s jew-rag of an e-mag defending niggers who enthusiastically side with cop killers.

This is the same site where you can find unironic articles claiming Trump won the nomination because the media has been too objective and neutral in its coverage of him.

I understand that the only thing that is keeping niggers from rampaging in white neighborhoods are the police.

Thank you based police.

It's Detroit too. I'm very sure this was the case. It was most likely a death threat or people casually talking about murder.

I'm not sure where I stand on this issue, but I'm sure there is a lot more to this instance then a bias article.

Convinced me
#iamwith #we #cruzmissile #now

Well that's a huge step up from Germany.
In Germany they arrest people for criticizing criminals.

Who so you work for? Why are you diluting our site with Facebook tier #staywoke material? Fuck off.

>I WAS JUST SPEAKING HIS MIND AND I GOT ARRESTED
I never buy this, because why would they admit to any wrong doing when they're trying to gain the moral high ground?
