I think we have proof that reckerposting has kept /mlb/ alive

without it, we're fucked, and I for one welcome our new reckerposter overlords

>Yankees' interest in Yu Darvish 'very real'

This better be no more than 2 years/$15 million

>2/$15 mil
That's middle reliever money.

>31 years old
>already had tommy john
>chokes under pressure
>trying to get under threshold with and only $20 million to spare

Yankees can't overpay if they want Machado/Harper next season

That's all well and good but you are seriously deluded if you think Darvish is worth $7 mil per year. That's less than what Mike Minor or Juan Nicasio got. But then why should I expect anything resembling intelligent and rational thought from a Yankees fan.

I didn't say he was worth $7 million. It was a hyperbole that I don't want the Yankees spending too much for him

how manyt walkoff hits does aaron fudge have last seaso lamo hes a fucking loser

damn bruce hooper is in the thread

>Sup Forums saved by ass

>Making a new thread 70 posts early.

No, that's Chris Carter. He's been posting this shit in Yankee gamethreads last season. He also kept defending Chris Carter for some reason

>linking to a non-baseball thread
what are on about, mate

>LA: Yankees' interest in Yu Darvish 'very real'
HAHAHAHA idiots

>mets sign A-gon

Are we getting better?

>mets
well there really is nowhere to go but up

A-Gon is probably worse than whatever AAAA player you have in the minors.

yeah, but remember the part where they're the METS

WAS: Report: Nats, Kendrick reach two yr, $7M deal
CHC: Brewers reportedly still 'in' on Jake Arrieta

so many horrible owners in MLB treating their fanbases like abused stepchildren. pic related won WS by accident 10 years ago and raped the fans goodwill through alternately stupid and greedy decisions until the organization death spiraled into the piece of shit that it is today.

baseball used to be my favorite sport. now it is dead to me.

What happened to the last general?

>Trump's lawyer is literally named Ty Cobb

killed by football, i assume

Anthony Recker makes my cock so fucking hard.

>KC: Report: Brewers a possibility for Moustakas?
Why? They already have Shaw.

The Phillies are on the upswing, though. If anything they should have blown their team up a year or two before they did.

great post

>great post
Why?

...

For me, it's NL CENTRAL

>HOU: One more time, with feeling: Cole to Astros

Any word on this McCutcheon return? Apparently not Shaw or Beede or Ramos.

Literally who cares

What bags of garbage were exchanged in Pittsburgh today? How did the garbage smell?

>all mccutcheon and recker

pls no, he's one of our only good pitchers

Posey

Astros. Fuck outta here yankee fags. I bet half of you were bandwagoning the mets where >we went to a ‘eries

>I'm hearing #Cutch deal includes #Posey. Posey is a RFA and #Pirates exercise their FA kicker to send Cutch and 3 rounder to Giants for Posey and a player to be named

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>Posey
>Life long

>Second-worst farm system in baseball, but the best player jints had to give up was their #16 prospect
>Pie Rats give up the face of their franchise

How the hell did Evans swindle them so bad?

dafuq

yankees fans be like, "b-but we spent more money, that means we're a better team!"

They dislike us because they are not us.

Lifelong Biggios coming in hot crying about nonexistent fursecution
How about you suck me faggot

>The #Pirates are receiving pitcher Kyle Crick and one other mid-range prospect from the #SFGiants for Andrew McCutchen

Can we just demote the Pie Rats to AAA status already? Never seen a team get fleeced this hard.

All I want for Spring Trainingmas is for fans of other teams than these two to post here.

It's cute you actually believe this though.

I don't have a pic of an Astros fan jerkin' it so here's the next best thing

just because i haven't been laid for 80 years doesn't mean i don't like women

>sports knowledgeable
I live in Chicago and you're full of shit. People here are the most knee-jerk fucks imaginable. They sometimes leave after one little thing goes wrong late in any game for any sport. You either don't live here or are terribly delusional.

Bimboposting died in 2016. I suppose you had no way of knowing that, seeing as you've only been here a few months.

>ha ha oldfag likes tits
You're right, what was I thinking

Bad and incoherent post. Your first attempt at greentexting is a failure.

...

Very epic Tumblr gif but I fear the language is a little vulgar for this websight.

It's not nice to lie on the internet. I bet you put ketchup on your hotdog.

>sports knowledgeable
lol fuck no
>paid their dues
>bandwagoning capital of the midwest

Did you not see Game 4 of the NLCS?

I have two questions for anybody who's a Pirates fan.
1) How?
2) Why?

No he stopped watching like the rest of the fans that left early

During this brief LoL at the Pirates, let's not forget the eternal LoL that is the Mets.

>pierats
Ill give you a used condom for felipe rivero straight up

What did you use it for? DOn't you dare lie to us

I do what I want user

Your silence is deafening

It's possible that this poster has a double digit IQ

Kyle Crick and Bryan Reynolds is the return for McCutcheon. Apparently Pittsburgh kicking in some money, too. Reynolds is a .312/.363/.469 career hitter in the minors.

Reynolds' slash looks great until you factor in .380 BABIP and A ball only so far.
I've seen him play twice at SJ, he can hit the ball hard, so a higher than average BABIP could be real, but I'm curious of what statcast has to say regarding EV and Barrels.

Giants basically saying they believe in Duggar fully now, who is on track for a midseason/Sept callup versus Reynolds's projected late 2019 debut date.

>Hating on the Major Baseball League
Manfred, don't think the catalogue or advanced metrics helps the game.

I did see Game 4 of the NLCS, those were some nice home runs by Baez.

Which teams (except Cubs) usually play a lot of early games?

east coast = least coast

Because I hate myself.

Name a National League that has lost four NLDS's this decade

That's pretty much it.

Baseball is suffering.

Imagine posting an office gif in response to your shitty team on twitter

No one else. Looks like you're stuck with the Cubs Pollack.

Is Nats vs. NLDS quietly the greatest rivalry in sports?

mariners vs the playoffs

>mest fans vs reality

Don't stop believing, friend.
