It's hard to say. Ones that I'm kind of partial towards as works of good cinematography would be like Pretty Baby (love the dark undertone), but I also like films that pander to fantasies of sorts, like Leon, the Professional, or Logan.

They work best when there actual quality put into them.

Yeah. A particular plot or scenery I'd like to see implemented (if not done already) would be like in Victorian England where a gentleman acquaints a young girl (undecided whether poor rags girl or minor aristocracy) and we see how a relationship develops and fleshes out over the course of time in the society they inhabit.
I think it'd make for a really interesting premise.

It's kind of bit more platonic version of Leon but in a slice of life settings.
Basically a business man ends up becoming friends with a 14 year old girl and there is some romantic undertones between them that are very sweet.
It's a decent movie but the ending does suck though.
