Question for Europeans

How do you feel about your continent being the tourist destination of the whole world? Is it weird that Americans (and I assume others) fuck their way across it or travel before/after university to "find myself" and "reconnect with my roots"?

The overwhelming majority of tourists don't give a single fuck about finding themselves or shit like that. They just want:
- to grill themselves packed shoulder to shoulder on mediterannean beaches for 2 weeks (Germans, Dutches, Bongs, Belgians)
- to visit the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, then rush to the Joconde in Le Louvre, and eventually spend a day at Mont Saint-Michel to say they visited the countryside (the rest of the Germans, Dutches, Bongs, Belgians + the Murrikans and the Asiats)
