it's very good, it's just as good as mouth of madness imo, the atmosphere is really dark and you always feel like something dreadful is going to happen.
watch it m8 if you like carpenter, you won't regret it. also, donald pleasance is the man.

Definitely the most pessimistic/downbeat of them I think. Even though the world is arguably saved at the end the whole movie is definitely darker throughout.

It's about Satan and it's father the anti god, I can understand how some people can find it boring, it's a slow movie and you have to pay attention to is said by the characters, but if you're willing to give it a chance, you won't be disappointed.

It's excellent. Probably his most underrated film. I hesitate to use the word in this current environment but it's pure Carpenter-kino. If you are a fan you will love it.
