This is why I like dating alcoholics. Free wine and sex, and their psychosis is more pragmatic than others.

pirating =/= shoplifting

An accurate analogy would be him materializing a duplicate of the wine out of thin air.

t. Morally corrupt individual

It's not a lost sale because they weren't going to buy it anyway

How exactly do you turn wine into digital data? That pic is stealing, theft, but magically copying the wine's each and every atom isn't.

No, you're wrong, clearly whenever somebody pirates the movie online the ability to watch the movie for someone else is taken away, that's just how it works

>don't mind me, just pirating this car ;)

shills mad as fuck

>don't mind me, I just pay $40 a month for advertisements
>here mr corporate, take my money

Oh look another thread where thieves try to justify their crimes

>lol I am just copying some data! the original is still there!

I guess patent theft and industrial spying isn't a crime either.

I guess Snowden did nothing wrong, after all he only copied some data.

>paying for digital content

You piece of shit. Do you even know how much money was spent designing and marketing this car?

remember when the MPAA gave up on sending letters to people, as people didn't give a fuck, then started trying to copy the BSA's tactics of trying to convince people that copyright infringement is theft?

>don't download movies, you're hurting the industry

>don't download CP, you're supporting the industry

???

>doesnt know how to get shit free
>shouts at everyone else for doing it

YOU WOULNDT STEAL A DOUBLES

People who can't get private tracker invites make threads like these

>Snowden

>tries to warn americans they're being spied on
>americans call him a traitor

????

We know it's a troll, user. You don't have to try so hard.

In this situation "pirating" wine would be staring at the original copy but not actually touching it.

Who cares if anything is moral or not, im broke as shit. Im going to pirate and no one can stop me :^)

Nobody cares about you or your preferences this isn't reddit

>stealing from what is clearly a chain store

They'll just put it on their insurance for the year, literally a victimless crime much like pirating media is.

>the CIA exists to copy sensitive data and disseminate it with the intelligence community
>they're patriots

( .__.)( ;__;)

best thread on Sup Forums right now

>don't mind me, I'm just stealing a movie!

Same thing. He's actively copying an original version and not paying for it.

Just a recommendation.

>jesus pirates bread, fish, and wine
>jews crucify him for it

do you have the rights to use that image?

>goes to China with stolen data >didn't leak to a libertarian like Ron Paul who has repeatedly railed against government surveillance
>didn't anonymously leak to wikileaks
>all the information was essentially known to anyone with a passing knowledge of the American intelligence network

Go away Oliver Stone. Snowden was a glory seeking faggot. He had access through other people's codea, he could have anonymously leaked all of it but wanted to be fucking Woodward and Bernstein.

c-can it work on l-lolis?

>the anti-snowden disinformation campaign continues

...

He either didn't do anything important or hes the reason russia and china even have a cyberintelligence program

He went to Russia too which are our greatest allies according to Trump supporters, so he literally did nothing wrong objectively and subjectively

Not the same thing at all. "Stealing" implies you are taking something from someone else, thus depriving them of the thing stolen. "Copying" leaves the original party with their product.

It is up to the content creators to protect their content. If they are dumb enough to put it out there in easy to copy formats, then it's their own fault.

How you doin'?

>don't do it kid

If you are stupid enough to steal Martini sparkling wine, your life is probably shit enough that I really don't care how much of it your pirating.

Would you really care if someone pirated Andromeda?

>society has all the technologies necessary for post scarcity

>corporate entities literally build walls to keep scarcity

Stealing from a store deprives the owner of his property. Copying doesn't deprive him of anything.

This. I've experience it and it's not cool.

Basically I bought a blu-ray version of the Avatar because one of my friends hadn't seen it and I had just bought a new 3D tv. Two birds with one stone and all that, I naively thought.

I opened the box, grabbed the disc and as I was about to put it into the player, IT FUCKING DISAPPEARED! I instantly KNEW some motherfucker PIRATED my movie.

reminder to download copies of any movie you don't like multiple times in order to deprive the content creators of multiple sales

You wouldn't steal a tangerine.

Hey now, that bread was their intellectual property!

ABSOLUTE MADMAN

>Would you really care if someone pirated Andromeda?

Yes. Although that's because I have principles. I know that's a hard concept for Sup Forums to grasp.

Stealing "shit" is still theft.

>An accurate analogy would be him materializing a duplicate of the wine out of thin air.
Jesus: The first wine pirate.

>scarcity

We should remember that entertainment is not a neccessity. Scarcity shouldn't be used to describe it.

This.

In America, stealing is literally a victimless crime. Most corporately owned businesses are insured for more than could ever possibly be stolen, even if they backed a truck up and took their sweet time.

...

this should be one of those sweating dude staring at buttons images

>hes the reason russia and china even have a cyberintelligence program

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

>online piracy takes off in a big way starting in the 00s
>more and more people are torrenting and illegally downloading their media than ever
>MPAA and other organizations try to act like this is some kind of dark age for creative industries
>meanwhile, Netflix is founded and quickly surges ahead of stagnant dinosaur media, becoming a multi-billion dollar company
>somehow, despite all the piracy that's supposedly making the entertainment industry impossible
Gee it's almost as if dinosaurs are mad that they can't keep up with the technology so they lash out at it when they get left behind.

>guy drinking wine
pussy

>this should be one of those sweating dude staring at buttons images

no because making pedo-apologetic memes aren't cool dude

Christianity = sharing
Judaism = greed

>I have an apple that you want
>I magically make a copy of the apple
>Now we both have apples

Where is the issue?

Is this part of the new Netflix campaign?

>complain about degenerates and the death of western civilization at every turn
>proceed to pirate stuff and spit on the right of content creators and private business
>probably complain about other people wanting FREE SHIT too while you proceed to get FREE SHIT just because you can

Don't worry kiddo, someday yer dad will let ya sip his beer.

>entertainment is not a necessity

Any society that hasn't taken great efforts to ensure their subjects are entertained has failed horribly.

Yeah I have principles too. That's why i'm against child abuse, or violent robbery, or murder. Some dude wanting to sit at home and stream a movie for a couple hours instead of heading to the theater and blowing $50 really doesn't bother me. There are more valid things to spend my time thinking about.

downloading CP does support it's creation though. Because it establishes demand and justifies supply.

But pirating movies somehow does the opposite.

The point of the story is that the party sucked, Jesus showed up and even though they were only drinking water he turned it into a good time -- as if the water was wine

Miracle of miracles, wonder wonder

BILLY, YOU HAD THE POWER INSIDE OF YOU ALL ALONG!

>kek

Same reason a lot of my acquaintances are coke addicts. Coke heads never want to do coke alone.

>entertainment is not a neccessity
Of course Kommissar, what was I thinking? Entertainment is for decadent capitalists. Laboring for the glory of the worker's state is my only source of joy, as is the case for my entire family so there is no need to purge me.

theres a difference between getting free shit and MUH TAXES AH PAID $.001 UHV MUH TAXES TO GIB THAT NEGRO DA WELFARE

So long story short, Jesus was the life of the party?
Damn, he must have been a funny guy.

>mfw I downloaded 1000 copies of the new Ghostbusters

Your principles are shit, mate.

Literally the entire message of Jesus was "We gave you something wonderful and you fucked it up you morons."

this happened to my niece
she received a copy of Frozen for her birthday, and just as she was about to watch it, the disc disappeared
she was heartbroken
I knew it had to be a disgusting sweaty virgin pirating her movie to jack off to the characters

No, your thinking of the current ruling society. Many societies have functioned just fine without shit loads of entertainment to keep them docile. The fact that our biggest concerns right now are entertainment based, even the President of the US is entertainment at this point, points that this "American age" is about to be finished.

There are plenty of ways to find satisfaction in your life, entertainment is the lowest common demoninator for doing that. Find a hobby where you can develop a skill, play a sport, or ya, find fullfillment in your labor.

>This is an official Cardassian transcript. It was recorded on a one-time optolythic data-rod used for official record-keeping. These rods are manufactured only as needed on Cardassia Prime. Information can only be transcribed on them once, and then cannot be altered.

This is the future of home entertainment.

Piracy has never affected first world countries significantly, these campaigns are only to get a few more bucks from the third world, a place where piracy has a real effect.

use a different example then

trips of truth

Who is/are "we" in this example? You don't actually believe Jesus was "gods" son, do you?

I buy my own booze, thank you very much

Nigga even North Korea has festivals and shit for people to go to and be entertained at. You are literally worse than North Korea.

Given the current theology, of course that is what I am referencing.

Don't take a reference for belief, user.

the industry benefits massively from the surge in consumption generated by piracy of films, books and music. But individual creators get screwed. they ones who benefit are big studios and record labels.

M&R Asti is a delight. The prosecco the image appears to be showing, however, is a horrid bottle of swill.

>piracy
>2017

KEK

And, given the perpetual criminal activity, they can boost prices to anything they wish.

Piracy is a crime, end of story. By pirating, you rob the artist of their deserved money in a way much more impactful than physically sharing something ever could.

yes, they won't be able to buy that private island and can only afford the smaller private jet

>But individual creators get screwed.
??? They gain fame and demand for their skills, how does this hurt them? The fact remains overall revenue and profit in the industry has increased, despite piracy, so any "harm" they're causing is insubstantial and impossible to prove.

>By pirating, you rob the artist of their deserved money
This logic makes no sense. By this reasoning, anyone who doesn't buy your product is guilty of robbing you of deserved money.

>it's a socialists from leddit invade a thread on piracy epidosde

youtube.com/watch?v=0Qkyt1wXNlI

>I deserve money
>anyone who doesn't give me money is stealing from me

>implying only reddit has socialists

>be alt-right
>defend corporations and private business when "leftists" criticize it
>proceeds to pirate stuff when you are on your own

Why are right wingers such hypocrites

>reddit: the post
