>IT'S IN THE FRAKKIN' BOARD!

Hotdog, this is Galactica. Galactia Hotdog, come in.

Galactica, this is Ketchup, please stop calling me Hotdog.

How many minutes until we have to do another FTL?
Can I still take a leak?

ACTION STATIONS, ACTIONS STATIONS
SET CONDITION ONE THROUGHOUT THE BOARD
THIS IS NOT A DRILL Sup Forums I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL

Launch alert shitposters.

Daily reminder that Gaeta did nothing wrong

I'm getting my memes

GET THAT FRAKKIN TRAITOR OUT OF MY SIGHT

Now one of you, and I don't care who, pick that weapon up and shoot me.

Well lookie here

The sunshine boys are here

MUH CALLY

the best character development in anything ever

That poster saved my memes, and the memes of fifty other shitposters you miserable frack.

There must be some kind of way out of here...
Said the Joker to the Thief..

You can't. ..rape..a meme Lieutenant

HES THE MOTHERFUCKING SHIT

On a serious note, this is the saddest moment in the show.
youtube.com/watch?v=5H7ULfsb3YY

all the fucking real traitors alive and well
>lets execute gaeta

fuck off adama

...

Oh yeah, the skinjob calling him a traitor
That's rich

Starbuck! What do you hear?

...

This is the thing - he was factually correct.
When he said that there was no way the civilians of the fleet would accept the very Cylons who nuked their entire civilization, he was right
When he said that Adama had allowed his affections for a Cylon cloud his judgement, he was right
When he said that they weren't the same leaders that they were when they first set out years ago, he was right

And he didn't want to just outright airlock them - he wanted them brought up on charges and made to face what they'd done.
Gaeta was the most loyal officer there was.

What do I have to do to get cylon girls to like me

He colluded with a terrorist who executed politicians in cold blood. Frak him
>muh leg

Point of order
youtube.com/watch?v=PIoExtvCi0o

Nothin' but the shitposts!

...

why do all grizzled ship commanders have to talk in a whispery raspy voice?

Did Battlestar Galactica have the best depiction of what space combat would likely be like?

>Dude restaurants shaped like food lmao
Can't find the frakker on youtube now but Apollo & Starbuck's goodbye scene is GOAT

That I've seen

with the exception of the aircraft carrier style takeoff and landing, the combat was bretty gud

Then grab your gun and bring in the memes!

What's wrong with the takeoffs/landing?

without gravity there is no need to do a controlled descent. you could simply match the speed of the ship and dock

they were propelled by electromagnetic rails to give their initial velocity so that they didn't burn fuel getting up to speed...don't see whats wrong with that...

landing like that is also only logical until they can be reloaded into the launch tubes

Who /Cain/ here?

launching ships on rails only makes sense if you can direct launch exactly where they need to go. otherwise the ships would have to burn extra fuel simply to correct course.

JUMP!

Cain?

>2 Battlestars still out there
>Both have Ace pilots
Was that a miracle or do most battleships have an ace pilot? Kat>Drunkbuck

What I went through on New Caprica, you don't get to lecture me Bill

I wish they made her less, uh, incompetent-looking tactically

...

i'm all about dat shaw

that's the poorest attempt to mimic a pokemon card I've ever seen

MORE

Goddamn that was a great scene
youtube.com/watch?v=phtkX2gDUFU

...

Babylon 5 did the whole newtonian flight thing, so its much more realistic. especially the fighters with their x-wing design that actually makes sense.

(Human pilots wouldnt make sense though, even by todays technological standarts.)

tfw had a crush on racetrack

Why are BSG threads among the most comfy and civilized on the board?

Yoooo I'd race her track while I trace her rack

Didn't B5 also do the whole "ship jumping in atmosphere" first or was that in original BSG? I don't rightly remember.

You the boss of this gym?

Don't mind me, I'll just commit sudoku and be off your hair.

She was right you know
>cylons genocide 12 planets
>can't handle a little rape

That scene was great

youtube.com/watch?v=-JpaAGcT3QE

...

She was perfect if you wanted military dictatorship and was right in her way. It's also easy to see Adama would've went down that road if not for Roslin to balance him out with a civilian angle.

...

Lee Adama did NOTHING wrong

...

...

Hold on a minute.

DO you remember when the show was riddled with incomplete story arcs and a trillion plot holes?

I do, because this show is a steaming pile of shit.

Let's not forget that it was Roslin who planted the idea to assassinate Cain in Adama's head

RIP

Nigga do you want a fucking list?
That boy was a goddamn clusterfuck

They readily admit it was not fully planned out, just some long term ideas like the music and 1 year jump forward.

This isn't no Babylon 5

You got that damn right, and to think this is rated an 8.7 on imdb

Got myself the Moebius Battlestar Pegasus model kit a little while ago.
Gonna have my shipfu on display in all her glory soon.

I liked their model for how the ship's weapons worked. Nobody is aiming anything really, the ship just hurls a 100 tons of exploding steel into space per minute and odds are anything that gets close is going to be scrap

Still the best sci-fi we'd had in a loooong time, and the best still until the Expanse came along to join that club

they have artificial gravity in the exterior flight deck area for some reason. Maybe its easier to do it that way since real docking in space is very precise and very slow

She was an idiot who was obsessed with >muh revenge. Adama had Roslin, who persuaded him to look after the civilians for the survival o everyone. Cain had no Roslin.

her Roslin turned out to be a cylon, so you can see how that might send her down a different path

Did they ever explain galacticas jump drive or artificial gravity?

No because it's not that kind of show

Yup. I mean, she had her reasons. But it was definitely for the best she was removed from command

Jump drive works by folding space to instantaneously travel.

"The red line" is the maximum distance the ships computer can calculate a jump because planets and stars move through space and when you're looking at them you're seeing them hundreds of years ago.

Enterprise was better.

A wizard did it

welp, time to watch all of BSG again. I almost started watching "The Expanse" today.

I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder

It will be cancelled after season 3, hope those faggots enjoy reading

He was thicc

...

My niggers

...

As much as I enjoyed seeing more, I hated that Razor retconned her into a dyke

He destroyed the Pegasus.

(((retconned)))

the BSG Writer's Bible covers the mechanics of how their FTL works.

It's some kind of space-time pinch, it "swaps" the area of departure with the arrival point.

It's called a Gravity Drive

He almost fucked his brothers fiancee.

>ywn have a bite of that chocolate kandy

He did though

Jeez
